Hi ya girls....
Night posting drives me insane...I like to post in the morning at work when my brain is not as cluttered....however I am trying to watch getting on line to sites that seem to p*ss them off...lol Sat in the dentist chair today for about 3 hour and 15 mins. Crown prep...he drilled on my tooth for an hour and half...good God...I was so over it. I go back at the end of the month for the final crown delivery...dreading the dentist....he did numb me up beyond belief...if I even cringed or jerked he gave me more novacaine....finally the entire right side of my face was numb...including my lips and chin...good stuff. Dinner tonite was iron skillet pan seared fillets, oven steak fries and salad. I made a homemade red velvet cake for a birthday at work tomorrow and made a tiny one for Curtis...he is waiting to eat it til tomorrow...still not 100% since being sick...as a matter of fact his last stool had a blood clot in it....he now has a doc appt. Tax refund is due back tomorrow....first refund I have had in about 4 years...very excited about it but it is mostly spent....all bills and things that need caught up....Home association fees, Hella Bs shots, license plates, mail in meds, oil change, blah, blah, blah...anyway...nothing left over. The bright side....had the $$ to pay that....YEAH... Am excited...was at Menards (hardware store) they had their spring stuff out and got all of my seeds for gardening....come on spring and good weather...I am so ready and excited. FINALLY...quit CVS permanantly last Thursday nite...got to dreading going in...so decided it was time to call it quits. Feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I just like coming home and spending time with my man. I am lovesick...lol. LAURA...well at least your appraisal was good and you got a raise....which was probably more than my 2.5-3 percent....Preggers women do crazy things...be glad someone is taking over for her when she goes out cause probably what she has already done is not right....lol. Another bright side...you get bonuses...we do not get any anymore.. SHAD...been watching your news over there and I might say...keep you head above the water and avoid the yucky parts as much as possible...I will send a snorkle for you to use...lol CHELLE...good grief...hope DH gets better and you find out what the heck is going on with him...how frustrating to have symptons and no diagnosis. Hugs to you and DH. Might be nice to be busy and be away from a sick DH... HAPPY...ok, tonite was iron skillet pan seared fillets finished in the broiler..steak fries in the oven and salad...is that what you had going on tonite? Toast in the toaster oven is not the same as toast in a toaster. We have a toaster oven at work to do bagels, toast and english muffins...blah...I pass. CEEJAY...hope all is well with you and your world of the chickas. I am too lazy to page back and read...gots lots to do tonite..sorry... HEY MELLIE>>>>GET BETTER AND COME BACK TO US!! Guess I had better post this before I lose it....everyone have a great night/evening/morning.. So much love and many hugs... |
It's a quiet morning and I hope it stay's that way. My last day of work for the week. And my 4 day week end approaches.
Rode the bike last night while watching the Biggest Loser. The guy that was eleminated just didn't get the he was a bragger on himself. Got a little hostile last night and his sister is going to cheer it on next week. Hope they vote her off next week. My boss/friend pulled a fast one on me yesterday. I knew he was going to teach a class 1 waste water but I didn't think that I would have the opportunity to take it. Well, guess what, he brought the material over yesterday. I read and did math problems for most of two hours yesterday and I'm still not through. Will ask about going to class Thursday. I'd mentioned that I would like to get a class 1 WW license. He told me yesterday that after this session was over I'd have enough training hours in WW to take a test. That kinda suprised me--I'd always been told before that I was needed where I'm at. ------ Annie I understand about not wanting to post at night. Glad that C is going to the doctor. Happy I got to thinking after your post yesterday that maybe the nasal spray is the culprit in my sinus attacks. I cleaned off the end of the nose spray last night with alcohol before I used it. We'll see if this works. Shad Try to stay dry. We understand that life is busy. |
Happy Hump Day -
I'm getting increasingly worried about DH. He's home ill again today..which is not like him. He's just too tired and winded to drive. If he doesn't feel up to going to work tomorrow, I'm going to take him to the doctor. Maybe he's not getting enough oxygen despite all the inhalers and nebulizing he's doing. Between him and Miss Mel...well, I just hope they start breathing easier (pun intended) soon. ************* Shad - Mud, slush and heat! Ugh! I had to do a double take on the "slush" though...because what we call slush is melted snow...and that's not usually present in 102 degree heat! Glad you have a bunch of good (if somewhat messy) blokes. I hope you are able to sleep through the night soon. I hope you're staying on high ground above all the flooding. Things really do look bad over there. Laura - I hope baby stays put until the conversion is further along. Good that the review went well, and that you'll get a nice bonus! I find it's difficult to get up into the "commendable"/"outstanding"/"rock star" category. I'm not expecting much of a raise, especially since my manager has left the company (and he was familiar with my work and above and beyond the call of duty efforts). Oh well, in this economy...I'm grateful to have a good paying job that I enjoy. We went to the Milwaukee Lakefront for fireworks one year. It was incredible...but so dang crowded!! It's held at the same time as Summerfest (our 11 or 12 day music festival), but luckily the fireworks vantage point is far enough away that the crowds aren't combined...although the traffic leaving is usually a nightmare. Our little small town library is part of a consortium that shares books with roughly 25 other libraries...so the selection is much greater than if it were just our library alone. I put an item on hold, and the library that has it transfers it to mine. It's almost like Christmas when something I want comes in. :) Annie - I can imagine how frustrating nighttime posting must be. Hopefully I won't have to resort to that. By the time I get home, the last thing I want to do is go on a computer. That sounds like an awful dentist appointment! I can't even imagine! That long in a dentist chair would do my back in...and it would probably hurt worse than my mouth. I'm glad Curtis is finally going to the doctor. Congrats on the tax refund, even if it is already spent. Our Menards had their spring stuff and seeds out last weekend...but I was too sore/tired to even think about it. I'll get some in the next week or so. Can't wait for spring!! Congrats on quitting CVS. Now that Curtis can help with the expenses, you probably don't need the extra $ or exhaustion. Spending time with your man is much more important. Mellie - I hope each day finds you feeling a bit better and stronger. Please take it slow though. I've been there and know how easy it is to relapse if you overdo it. Ceejay - Yay for your upcoming 4 day weekend!! I didn't watch Biggest Loser last night, but I DVRed it. I heard that Adrian was eliminated. He should've listened more and talked less..but I really think the two big troublemakers are Conda and Kim. And I even liked Kim a little in the beginning. But now they're both just backstabbing b*tches. I wish they could vote both Conda and Kim off right away...that would help the Red team greatly. Good for you for getting the training materials. I hope you're able to go to class too and get your license. Even if you're needed where you are currently at, it never hurts in this economy to have more knowledge, credentials and experience. Well, back to more training for me. Love and hugs to my Worldly friends, |
Hi ladies,
First off - latest Mel update... NOT A GOOD DAY HERE!! TALKED TO THE NURSE WHEN SHE CAME AND THEN THE DR ON THE PHONE. SEEMS LIKE I AM BACKSLIDING WITH FLUID BUILDING UP IN THE LEFT LUNG. SO WE ARE BACK TO SQUARE ONE AS FAR AS RECOVERY AT HOME IS CONCERNED. NOBODY IN, NOBODY OUT, REST, WATER, NO CLEANING, COOKING OR LAUNDRY. NO FOOD SHOPPING....NO BUS FOR THAT MATTER. NO OFFICE OR MEETINGS. I CAN VOTE BY PHONE BUT NOTHING ELSE. NO EXERCISE. NO COLD AIR. USE THE INHALER AGAIN, TAKE LOADS OF MIUCINEX, WATER, WATER WATER AND ABOVE ALL SIT QUIETLY. BUT NO STRESS OR EXCCITEMENT. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE SAID I MIGHT LOOK GOOD TO MYSELF IN THE MIRROR AND THE OFFICE CAN SAY I LOOK AND SOUND FINE. BUT THE FACT REMAINS THAT INSIDE I AM A VERY SICK GIRL WITH A VERY "SILENT" ILLNESS. HE IS HOPING NOT TO HAVE TO SEND ME BACK TO THE HOSP FOR IV PUSHED ANTIBIOTICS AND I WILL HAVE TO HAVE SOME NEW TESTS NEXT WEEK IF THIS BACKSLIDING KEEPS UP. BP WAS 190 OVER 100 AND ROSE EVEN HIGHER. ALL I CAN SAY IS CHIT, CHIT, CHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOLD ME THE MORE BACKSLIDING INVOLVED THE LONGER THE WEEKS EARMARKED FOR MY RECOVERY WILL BE. HE IS AIMING FOR THE END OF MARCH NOW IF I CAN SHAKE THIS AND GET MY LUNGS WORKING FULL TIME AGAIN. TOLD ME TODAY THAT THIS HAS TO BE "ALL ABOUT MEL" NOW AND NO CONCERNS FOR ANYONE OR ANYTHING ELSE. IT'S THE AGE, WH.CHAIR AND THE MD WORKING AGAINST ME AND EACH TIME I FEEL GOOD I OVERDO IT SOMEHOW AND BACKSLIDE. HARD TO THINK POSITIVE THOUGHTS WHILE HE IS TELLING ME TO "THINK SICK". ROFLMAOFF!!!! BUT HE SAID THAT IS EXACTLY HOW I HAVE TO THINK. OK....I CAN DO THIS!! I JUST WANT OUT OF HERE BEFORE THE GOOD WEATHER COMES!!! I'LL LET YOU KNOW IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG BUT NOT WRITING ABOUT THIS EVERY DAY AND BORING YOU GALS WITH THE DREARY DETAILS. MISS YOU GUYS AND PLEASE STAY WELL. ADIOS FOR NOW. LOVE, MEL |
Thanks Happy for the Melreport. Damn and here I was thinking she was on the getting back to normal phase. Makes me wonder whether she ever got rid of that problem she had a while back or this is it back in a more virulent form. Poor Mel.
Sleep continues to elude, but there is only one more day before going home for the weekend so I will survive. Had a good bunch of blokes in today. They were the laconic, laidback aussie blokes that are always a good laugh. Need that for SAP training. Michelle - my thoughts go out to your DH as well. He hasn't been well for quite some time and also doesn't seem to have gotten over the first dose of pneumonia. Hope someone soon can shed some light on what is the problem. Annie - 1.5hours in the dentist chair :faint: Rather you than me buddy. Hope Curtis is also feeling a bit better. Do not let him rush into working long cold hours again until he is completely upright. Fortunately I am quite a distance away from the worst of the flooding so I am not affected at the moment. This could however change with the fickle weather patterns we are having. Mind you much of the flooding is caused by HUMANS - because they will insist on trying to divert rivers and creeks to suit their own ends. Mother Nature will not be denied. Ceejay - hope you enjoy your 4 days off and you manage to do a few Ceejay things rather than running around after uncles, friends and neighbours. A bit of 'me' time will not go astray. Okay better get off and do some extra bits and pieces for tomorrows course - then get ready for going home. I had better do some washing tonight and clean all the office clothes which will stay in Blackwater for the weekend. |
So freakin' happy it's Thursday!
I am so ready for the weekend...even it won't be a particularly relaxing one. After work yesterday, my soon to be former teammates went out for happy hour. We've worked together for 4 years, and get along so well. It sucks that they "broke up the band". Oh well, on to bigger and better (hopefully) and hopefully we'll all still stay in touch...at least we're still working in the same department. DH went into work today...even though when I left for work, he still looked quite weak, tired and like he was going to pass out. I just called him and he got there ok. I had offered to drive him, but he said he could drive. I'm really worried about him...unfortunately we won't know 'till Monday what the new round of tests show. **************** Happy - Thanks for sharing Mel's report. I had hoped she was getting better. It sucks how if you overdo by just a little bit, the recovery backslides nearly to the beginning. And the worst part is...you don't know you're overdoing it until it's too late. Mel - Sending much love, hugs and prayers your way, my dear sista. :getwell: :getwell:  :grouphug:  Shad - It does sound like Mel might be having a much more virulent form of what she had in the past. Poor sweet sista. Bummer that you're still having trouble sleeping. It is unfamiliar lodging or an uncomfortable bed or just too darn warm? We have idiots here in the Milwaukee area who try and "control" Mother Nature by building houses in flood plains, etc. They're just starting to get smart here by removing the subdivision built in a flood plain and restoring the land to parks/open space; and in another area, there's a different example of smart flood prevention is they took out several miles of concrete river diverters that would just overfill and flood the area during heavy rains and reconstructed it of dirt and natural terraced open space so that the river may overflow, but it wouldn't flood the neighboring homes or businesses. I hope today's course goes well. The weekend is nearly here. :) I'd better get back to it. Love and big hugs, |
Morning all.
Michelle – I’m so worried about your dh. :( I sure hope the test results you’re waiting on shed some light on his situation - finally. I hope you get to keep in touch with your former team – so sad they pulled you apart. I’m so ready for the weekend too!! It really feels like it should be Friday already, doesn’t it?? Re the library – I suppose I should search their catalog on the website for exercise videos, because maybe it’s more than what’s on the shelf. I know our library does interlibrary loans, but not sure the catalog shows what’s available from them. I have a feeling it’s more like they check when you’re looking for something very specific. And I know that a budget shortfall put the interlibrary services to a halt some time back and I’m not sure if that’s over or not either… Shad – How awful you’re not getting your sleep – that gets real old after a couple days. I woke up about 90 min. before my alarm today, so I might be feeling it tonight. I’m happy you’re not close to the flooded areas, and I hope it stays that way!! Mel – If you’re reading this – and maybe it’s better that you’re not! – sorry to hear you’ve had a setback in your recovery. Hard as it may be, listen to the doc and do nothing!! Hope you get back on the road to recovery and are moving in the right direction soon! Miss ya! :getwell: Ceejay – So you’re probably enjoying the beginning of your 4-day weekend right now. Can’t say I’m not a bit envious! :D Hope you enjoy yourself. I think it’s great that you want that license, and it’s good to at least express that to your bosses, even if they don’t think they need that right now. Annie – Ugh, that session with the dentist sounds awful! BF just went back for his crown and something was wrong with it, so they had to put the temp back in and get a new one made. I hope that part at least goes smoothly for you. You’re way ahead of me on the tax filing situation, though a refund sure would come in handy sooner rather than later. Good you quit CVS – if you hated going in, that’s for the best. You know what, my raise was, in fact, less than yours – they are being pretty stingey . I’m not a “rock star” (Michelle’s term) at my job, and since I’ve been at my company a long time and have a pretty good salary, I bet my boss probably thinks to herself that I already get paid too much for what I do… And she’s also probably counting on the bonus to keep me satisfied. Honestly, the way I feel right now with my job, I’m not in the mindset to discuss with her what I need to do to earn a bigger raise. And the way it works at our company is that the supervisor essentially has to screw over another employee to give a good-sized raise to another one. Right now, everyone in the dept is pulling their weight, so we're all likely getting the same very mediocre average increase. Not that anyone’s living expenses are only going up by that much…Sorry for the rant! Hellos to Happy and Mary! :flow1::flow1::flow1::flow1::flow1: Nothing much to report. Work is busy, but at least I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel on this project. Not that it’ll be all done after the cutover – plenty more work to be done. But it’s been interesting I guess. Maybe it’ll be more fun if some of the stress is gone after go-live. Went to my Pilates class last night. I’m feeling very lazy this session. The Pilates is only once a week and while it’s challenging to focus on working the core, it’s not a strenuous, sweat-inducing workout. And I’m only doing one passport class per week…the park district catalog came in the mail yesterday, so I have to decide what I’ll do for the next session. Tonight is a hair appointment, thank goodness! I’m two weeks overdue for my touch-up, and I need the haircut too. I’m tired of my current (non-)style, but too chicken to do anything different. Friday night I’m going out by my friend’s house, and I’ll stay there overnight so we can get an early start on our mini-trip to Madison on Saturday. Looking forward to it. Okay, I’ve rambled enough. Everyone have a good day. :) |
Laura and Annie
At least you two got raises. We didn't. The economy is really bad right now. ---------- The boss/friend brought in the paper and printed off the front page part about the city's finances. The Mayor's out look was a lot better than the other day. Things will be getting better. I'm waiting for a friend to return a phone call. She wants to go eat pizza but she had some customers come in. Been doing laundry. Last night I deep cleaned the living room and rearranged it. Would really like to buy a new carpet cleaner. And since my federal tax refund was in the bank yesterday I may do that. My carpets need to be shampooed. Every time I take Cipro for this sinus infection I get a bladder infection. Toyota keeps bugging me that the oil needs to be changed for it's 10,000 miles but I don't have that many miles on it yet. I've been wanting an excuse to go to Jonesboro so I'm taking the car into tomorrow. May go visit with my friend who lives there. |
Thanks to all you wonderful ladies for your concern about me and my DH. You are all so amazing! I'm so fortunate to have you in my life.
I decided to take tomorrow off. I was going to take tomorrow afternoon off to take Mischief to the vet for a blood test...but I asked my boss if I could take the whole day off instead, and she said yes. :dancer: I'm meeting with a website client after work. Then spending the better part of tomorrow doing website work for at least 2 clients, and spending 4 hours with a client on Saturday. All in all, I should be able to send some invoices out in the next week or two to get some extra cash. :) Laura - We're definitely hoping that DH's new tests shed some light on the situation. If not, DH might find another pulmonologist for another opinion. We have a nurse-friend and a radiologist-friend in CA, and they both want DH to go somewhere and get his oxygen levels tested today and maybe get an oxygen tank if necessary. They said it would NOT be good for him to wait until the test results Monday. I hope you have fun on your trip to Madison! Always nice to get together with friends. Ceejay - I'm glad the Mayor's outlook is better than originally thought. Bummer about the bladder infection. When I'm on antibiotics, I eat extra yogurt to make sure I have the good bacteria in my system. Also, is cranberry juice good for bladder infections? I can't remember. Toyota is probably estimating that you have 10K miles due to the length of time. But if you drive less miles than the "average" driver, you could probably wait until you do have 10K miles on your car. Of course, if you're going to Jonesboro anyway...why not take the car in? Enjoy your visit with your friend. Big  to Happy, Mary and everyone! Lunch hour is over...back to work for me. |
Morning all. TGIF!
Ceejay - another Worldie ahead of me with getting their taxes filed and a refund received! Next weekend I'm getting around to that for sure! I keep tossing around the idea of buying a carpet cleaner even though we only have some area rugs and runners in the house. Enjoy the rest of your long weekend! :) Michelle - Good idea re the oxygen - your dh should have that if he's having such problems breathing. I think he'd be so much more comfortable. Enjoy your day off. Even though you're working on your biz stuff, at least you're home and comfy and with your doggies!! :) Hellos to the rest of the Worldlies! -- Well, I arrived to the office to have the admin ask me if I'd received all the e-mails she had - 237 of them - from a vendor of ours who is in the midst of a systems transition. They are alerts that we usually get each month (but just one!) re our monthly invoice. But these went back as far as 2005, lol. At least they responded right away when I alerted them to what had happened. Hair appt last night was fine. I have a bit of a very long bang now - nothing drastic, but we'll see how I like it and if I want even more next time I get a cut. Today I have a few more things to test for this conversion, and then our team can get on with the final piece of it. Also had a messy issue come in yesterday, so I have to work some more on that. For now, it'll just be getting more information about the circumstances. I'll be taking a sightly earlier train home today, packing a bag for the weekend, and then get back on the train heading out to my friend's place. Have to remember to get some cash out of the bank today - did I tell you that my debit card had expired at the end of Jan. and they hadn't even sent a new one? They said the new card would take a week. :yikes: I'm so dependent on that thing. I almost can't remember not using an ATM card!!! Everyone have a wonderful Friday/Saturday/weekend. :) |
Just a quick check in....I'm busy with website work today...watching the snow come down...and hoping that the roads will be okay later when I need to take Mischief to the vet for a blood test. I'm also hoping it doesn't snow too much as DH isn't able to shovel or snow blow...and I'd rather not put my back through that. DH is seeing the pulmonoloist while Mischief and I are at the vet.
*************** Laura - Crazy about the 237 emails! :yikes: I wish I could wear bangs as I have such a high forehead. But I have such a bad cowlick in front that the banks never sit right. have a wonderful time with your friends in Madison!! wishing all of us a healthy, happy, fun and safe weekend! Much love, |
Good morning girls,
Seems like a missed a few days. When I last posted Mel's update I wrote personals and tried to post. The page kept hanging and then coming back with a web error. I saved the update on the clipboard and tried a few more times, this time getting a database error. Then I saw of FB they posted that they were having problems. I guess I forgot to come by yesterday. :o Not that there was anything particularly exciting going on - just grocery shopping. DH said the days are flying by for him too which I think is odd because we don't have junk to fill them up anymore. Just chores  Oh I did get my fun box of kitchen toys yesterday. A new really big - turkey sized - roasting pan with rack, a pasta roller, (coffee) bean grinder, cheese grater and apple corer - all well made stuff on clearance. Can you tell my life revolves around food now? Ah but good healthy stuff and less of it. ;) I got another note from Mel - mostly personal but she is trying to be a good girl and sit quietly like she should and get healed. There is still a bit of schmutz in the one lung, if it doesn't get better in the next few days she may have to be hospitalized for more tests. I have sent her all your love and good wishes. Annie - I hope you got some relief for that tooth of yours. Once I had awful pain from a crown and it turned out that the new material was reacting to the older crown next to it. I had never heard of this before until I was talking to DH and he mentioned it. They had to change the crown material and all was well but it was awful while it lasted. And you might have a bit of an abscess that needs to be dealt with. You shouldn't have that much pain after a procedure. Hope you feel better  and good for you for quitting CVS - you don't have much free time as it is, spend it doing the things you want to do. Like hugging Curtis :D Laura - I hope you have a fun weekend with your friends. That would be a bummer about the library loan system suspended but that's how I remember it working when I lived up that way - they will search for something you specifically ask for but you have no way of going out and browsing. It was also like that in the town I lived in down south but the next town had a consortium and I often used their online offerings. There are also alot of web based videos - Self magazine comes to mind as well as the paid subscription to WW - if you could hook up your pc to your tv you might have more options. Also usually cable tv has an exercise on demand channel although sometimes those videos can be not so great. How did the hair appointment come out? There is a cute bob now with long points at the face and short to the nape of the neck. It's a really flattering look unless you have a terribly square face. Kind of updates the hairstyle without compromising length for those of us who need a longer style along the cheeks because of the shape of our face. Michelle - that is so disappointing that there is something going on with DH but yet they can't decide on a treatment. Especially since you are close enough to the city to have good doctors. I would recommend my pulmonologist in Memphis but that's an awfully long drive :^: Hope he gets another opinion - especially since he seems compromised on the oxygen. Enjoy your day off although it sounds as if you will be quite busy all weekend. The extra money always comes in handy. Ceejay - you might want to consider asking the doctor for another type of antibiotic if you have problems with Cipro. Some of them are TOO strong and cause other problems. And yes, it is cranberry juice that is good for the bladder. We have cranberry bogs all around us, in fact you pass one on the way to our house off the main road. I guess they are a big crop up this way. Hope you don't get any icy weather - looks like it's turned a bit cold for all of us around the country. Shad - hope you got home ok and you are probably out and tending to the garden. How is Sunday the cat dealing with you being gone again? Hope you got right to sorts with the sleeping issues now that you are back in your own bed. Javaturtle - hope you are feeling better too! I'd best get off this computer. My cousin is feeling poorly and I told her I'd drop off supper tonight. She likes meatloaf, her DH does not so I'm going to make some extra from a good recipe DH had found and will also make a pot of chicken soup to replace what I gave them last week. Not sure I am up to making homemade soup noodles with the new pasta roller, but it's nice to know I can. Have a good weekend chicks. |
Michelle - it's snowing hard here too but only the light stuff, last night was the fluffy stuff - hope yours is not the heavy lake effect stuff. Take good care of you and the DH. Hope Mischief gets a good bill of health from the vet too.

Afternoon
Can't believe it! Neighbor called and asked to go eat pizza--ugh 2 days in a row-- but she paid for her's. I don't mind that. I have a sinus head ache. I was in Walmart last night to pick up a few items, one being some Advil sinus aspirin type stuff and heard my named called. Looked up and it was the Mayor. He looked haggered, but he has had a lot of stuff on his plate. ---- Shad Think I'm going to take your advice and stay home this week end. It's cold and I don't need to be on the road. Hope you can get some sleep. Happy How nice that you are helping out your cousin during her sickness. That's one reason I'd like to be near my sis. My sis in Mo loves all kitchen items. She's an excellent cook. I thought about asking the doctor to give me something less potent. I think Cipro is the equivalent of Leviquin And that's the only thing that will get rid of bronchitis when I have it. But it dries out my sinuses really bad. Laura Have a good visit with your girlfriend. Michelle Be careful getting out this afternoon to take Mischief to the vet. Hope her blood test come out good. |
Good Evening Girls....
I feel so relaxed...I went to the women's center at St. Francis hospital south this evening for a deep tissue massage..since I am a member of the Spirit of Women at St. F. I got the 60 min massage for 50 bucks....I decided since I had use ALL of my tax refund catching up on bills that I was due a treat...I made it a massage...better than a food treat..so that was a plus. This freaky warm weather has things blooming in Indiana, only to get froze out this weekend....dang it...but it has my sneezing allergies going crazy. It is snowing as I type...steady small flakes..it looks so beautiful in the streetlights...best of all...it is not sticking. I am actually loving it...go figure..I hate snow and cold. Well blow me over...the trouble maker in the office put in her resignation. Her hubby got a job in Pheonix and her last day is March 9....so thankful...God answers prayers or whining in strange ways...thank you Jesus. Baby boy and Kristen are coming home tomorrow so I can do their taxes...then I am fixing dinner for all of us to include sissy, Chris, Lil Monkey (of course I can NOT produce his dinner..lol), and Ainsley. I am thinking chicken cordon bleu, haven't decided on the sides. Probably strawberry something for dessert. Sunday we are going out to baby boy's house as he invited Curtis and I for a Talipia dinner....too cute...he is so loving his life now. I am so dang happy for him I could burst at the seams. Kristen and Tater are both excellent cooks so I am definitely looking forward to a meal that I do not participate in. YEAH!! CHELLE...so glad to hear the DH and Mischief, both, had excellent doc reports...AMEN...see God does answer prayers. Don't work too hard this weekend on website stuff and forget to take time for CHELLE...You got it?? Good!! Shaddie...are you home now...enjoy your 15 minutes to yourself before going back to work...lol MELLIE...God love you sister...take care of you...F everything else. CEEJAY...see rumors are just that rumors...unless you see it for yourself...ignore it. Happy...I have an apple/corer/peeler/slicer from Pampered Chef that I NEVER use...too much work..you can have it if you want it....just takes up space and have not used it in the last 10 years. Time flies in strange ways...yours is chores instead of work...I would rather do chores....lucky you. Laura...237 emails sounds like my inbox when I have been off for a week..and all those emails are current. blah. Have a splendid time on your weekend get-away. I am jealous of that...would love to get away with some girlie time. Well Curtis is in bed..work day for him tomorrow...Hella B is in MY lazyboy rocker asleep..all knowing she is NOT allowed on the furniture..but too cute to kick out...and really do not want to get bit...lol..jk Signing off for now...gonna watch True Bloods. Loves and Hugs... |
