Morning Ladies! I had another date with a half sleeve of saltines last night - LOL. I really need to get those out of here! I'm pretty sure I was still in my calories allottment as I was a bit low yesterday, so who knows. I don't know what I weigh this week, I'm hoping for a 1-2 pound loss though. In past I've always lost weight really fast doing a "fad" sort of thing, but this time I'm going to slow rote and hoping to keep it off for good. So don't expect hge numbers from me

Sara - I'm glad you came here to confess instead of ending your diet! Just pick yourself up where you left off. We all slip up sometimes.

Amber - Welcome to our group!

Jessica - That's an amazing loss!

LW - Thanks for the tip. Did I mention that I really need to figure out how to motivate myself in the exercise department? LOL

Jamie - 1500 probably sounds about right. LIke I said I'm going to stay here for a week or two and then adjust if necessary. My lack of exercise is NOT helping my cause.

Good Morning!

Laura-I feel the same way. I've always done some sort of crash/fad diet where I lose alot of weight. That's why 3 lbs didn't seem like alot to me. But I'm committed this time to do it right and say goodbye to those pounds forever!

Kitten-Isn't it great to be able to just spill it all without judgement; and get encouragement instead?

Welcome Amber-Good luck!

Good Morning!

Jessica - congrats on a great loss! I totally hear you with the Biggest Loser. I am purposely not watching it for this reason. Sometimes it can be inspiring but I can`t stand people being disappointed when they lose like 5 or 6 pounds in a week! Like really. I also don`t agree with how hard they work them at first - seems dangerous to me.

Amber - welcome!

Kitten - thanks for confessing and your positive attitude is inspiring! The important thing is to not let it stop you.

Laura - I'm with you - don't be expecting any big losses from me either. I am happy with a pound a week!

Have a great day everyone and good luck tomorrow morning!

I actually felt so much better and when I woke up this morning first thing I did was set up the coffee and went for a brisk 45 min walk......... never knew confession was so good for a diet.

Just found out that I am gaining water weight as I am drinking too much water... input must be lower than output in order to lose water weight.

Jen - It's actually disappointing about The Biggest Loser. I've always watched and loved it. But now that I'm really committed to losing weight and doing it right, I can't watch anymore. It's actualy un-motivating.

I still enjoy watching Biggest Loser - but I agree it can be a bit de-motivating.

I'm finding it SO HARD to exercise, I just can't believe it. I feel constantly tired. I wake up about 5:50am or so and get myself and kids ready for school and work. I get home about 5pm (which is right now) and dinner is usually about 5:30 or so. Then my DD has gymnastics. I feel exhausted ALL. THE. TIME. I just don't feel motivated to work out at 7:30 or 8pm, I'm just toast. Sigh....

Hey! Hope you have all had a good day. I think I can chalk mine up as a success.

I can't watch The Biggest Loser because Jillian annoys me incredibly! I literally have the programme on for five minutes and have to turn away because I can feel Jillian beginning to get my heckles up. I don't know what it is about her. Bob, on the other hand.....

I'm like you Laura78, I'm taking this journey slowly but surely because I'm hoping/planning to never have to do it again. I have stayed on track this week apart from the wee slip up at the weekend but I just have this feeling that the scales aren't going to show much of a change. Things just don't feel right. I can't explain it. If I have dropped even 1lb I will be deliriously happy/relieved.

I find it hard to get motivated to exercise too. I enjoy my power walking but when the weather is stormy like this I go through an internal argument with myself, trying to almost convince myself that it would be a better idea not to go! The silly thing is, I feel so much better when I have went. I'm a strange one.

Good evening everyone

I have kept my goal to walk on the treadmill every day this week. I am so proud of myself. This eveing was hard tho, I talked myself out of walking but in the end, I knew i would feel better if i did so I walked almost 1.5 miles on the treadmill. I hope the scale is nice to me tomm, I am bloated. I hope everyone else had a good day.

Morning Jewels!

Sorry I've been absent this week... I've been sick all week... AND I forgot to weigh this morning so I'll post my weight tomorrow morning.

But, I must pat myself on the back and say despite being sick and wanting comfort food, I stayed within my points... of course, yesterday was my first day back in the gym since last Friday.

Oh well, still riding this horse and hoping for the best!

Hope you all did well this week, about to read the threads and catch myself up!

Good morning! I forgot to weigh so I'll have to do it when I get home.

*First, I can't wait until my 20 day probation is over. I really want a ticker!

*Second, my friends and I are having girls night dinner tomorow night and we're going to a local place called Wine Country. It's a "fine dining" type place. I doubt there's any nutritional information available and of course there's not a "lite" section on the menu.

I see there's a pan seared chicken brest with broccolini and truffeled mac & cheese. Do I just eat what I want and enjoy it and not worry? How do you guys handle these types of situations?

I've done ok this week; average net calories (including exercise) is at 1,060 for Mon-Thurs. I blew it last weeend and don't want to get in the habit of blowing it every weekend.

Help
