i stand corrected----ringworm is transmitted, but it would be easily recognized----my dd had pityriasis rosea {sp??} and i was trying to blame the cat to no avail-----if you have THAT peaches, you have to wait for it to disappear!!!!go to the dr and of course, charge Mealy Mouth---tell him he must have calve-ious----you get it from breaking off with a cow.

Bagzz 02-09-2003 09:25 PM

i meant to say CALVE-IOSIS PITOSIS HOGAROSIS,but i forgot.

Darling_Peaches 02-10-2003 08:01 AM

Good morning to YOUUUUUU
I don't know what to say as I am blown away by Bagz' fluency in Latin. So I'll just go quietly

Bagzz 02-10-2003 12:35 PM

ohhhhhhhhhhhh NOOOOOOOOOOOO

IT IS GOING TO SNOWWWWWWWWW AGAIN!!! I AM IN SHOCK AND DISBELIEF----WHEN WILL THIS END???????????

Wabby 02-10-2003 02:00 PM

Peachezzzzz!!!! You got that rash from Herbie, not the other way around! He rested his diseased ankles on the couch, and you unknowingly came along and laid your unsuspecting head on his germ infested sofa. I hope the Doctor bill is a big fat one and it requires lots of very expensive tests and an even more expensive prescription. The nerve of that man!!!! :jig:

I'm recovering from my first spring time garden work out. I'm in pain.

Lush, you are the curves queen! I haven't gone back since my surgery, but I think tomorrow is the day.

I still [blue]can't figure out the color thing. Maybe this will work.

nope [how about this?wow!wow!wow!Look at me!!!!

Wabby 02-10-2003 02:43 PM

Now for an image: Aunty Wabby & newest great grand nephew- who has the chubbiest cheeks?

SugP 02-10-2003 02:46 PM

Help! My Yorkshire Pudding has fallen and it can't get up!

No, actually it turned out fine, but the roast beef was tough. Maybe I should become a vegetarian.

What a sweet baby! Looks just like his auntie. How many nieces and nephews do you have, Wabby?

Eeee! How could I forget ringworm? Doesn't that settle somewhere else, though? Let's face it, Herbie must have something to do with this. SJW can give you a rash, can't it? It makes you sensitive to the sun. Have you been sunning yourself, Peachy?

How can you work in the garden, Wabby??? Ours is still frozen. Lucky you livin' in the Deep South. I have no idea what latitude we're at. I only know that in Finland where my Canadian e mail pal lives it's still minus 17 so I'm not complaining.

Way to go with the teenager party, Kiwi! Sounds like you had everything under control.:p

Kiwonk 02-10-2003 05:32 PM

What a cutie!

And what an adorable baby, too! ;)

Roast beef and yorkshire pudding, sounds pretty good. You get big points even if it was tough.

I think I finally knocked that headache out of the ballpark. Excedrin Migraine is a wonderful thing.

We're not getting snow, Bagz. At least not at this moment... I talked to my mother Saturday night and she wanted to know if we had any snow on the ground. Um.. yeah Mom we have about 6 feet or more piled up all around the house. Not like it's going anywhere or anything.

I watched The Bourne Identity this morning. Pretty good. Woopee. I'm depressed. DH is still home alllllllllllllll the time.

Kiwi

Darling_Peaches 02-10-2003 06:00 PM

I've seen the Bourne movie. Herbie has it. Maybe Kiwi and Herbie could get along.

I got home and decided to check my gas tank even though it was fine a few days ago. It was EMPTYYY.... We aren't using gas tonight. Except for the water heater, we will not use gas and HOPEFULLY the gas man will not feel he needs to come inside, relight pilots and charge me. Microwaved hot dogs. Chips. Carrot sticks.

Now, about that baby. He sure is lucky to have such an adorable auntie.

Wabby 02-10-2003 06:57 PM

Aw shucks!!!!He is pretty darn adorable and of course he thinks I'm wonderful. He has good taste in women. ;) I have 16 nieces, 12 nephews, 6 great nieces, and 7 great nephews. And every single one of 'em is adorable. Of course, that's not counting all the step nieces and nephews.

Out here on the frontier we believe in keeping the snow up in the mountains where it belongs. This is Mt. Hood. I see it every day on the way to work. You can drive up there in 45 minutes and play in the snow, then drive back home and work in your garden like a civilized person.

Kiwonk 02-10-2003 07:23 PM

Well, Wabbit, your life makes much more sense than mine. :dizzy:

Peaches, if you send Herbie up here, I will never forgive you. I already have a disfunctional man, thank you.

Kiwi

SugP 02-11-2003 04:02 AM

a list

Things I can't find:
  • my muffin cups
  • my black bra
  • my meat thermometer

Pretty scary, huh? Think they're all hiding out together somewhere enjoying their freedom?

Maybe Kiwi's dh and Herbie would get along? They could stand around telling each other what to do and Kiwi would finally have some peace and quiet!

Darling_Peaches 02-11-2003 07:33 AM

Your muffin cups are here with me Sugar. They had a spat with the sandwich maker and wanted to see Florida. They are safe here. There is no fuel and we willnot be baking. In fact, I told ds to take a shower first and make it short in case the hot water stopped. Has anyone else ever been this dumb? It's 36 outside. Brrrr

Yes, dear. Once, a long ago when I was still young and beautiful, I shared a house with three other girls. We were happy-go-lucky university students without a care in the world, until one day...

We were all home one Friday afternoon thinking "Geez, it's cold in here" and suddenly it dawned on us that the oil tank could be empty. Nobody told us we had to fill it up now and then!!! Our landlady had skipped off to somewhere really far away but we managed to get in touch with her and she told us who to call. Would have been a cold, cold weekend otherwise. Oh yeah, and the access to the oil tank was in the basement where her layabout daughter (sometimes) lived and that was locked up so we had to climb in a window to get to it. Good thing we were flexible back then! So we had heat, but a while after that landlady forgot to pay the water bill (not our problem, don't ask me why) so we were high and dry for a couple of hours until we got hold of her again.

Ahh, those were the days. Can you tell we were never bored?

Well, now my muffins cups are accounted for, but where's the rest of my stuff? I can't see anyone else in this household having any interest in black bras and meat thermometers, but you never know.

Lush 02-11-2003 08:14 AM

My dog tends to take underwear out of the laundry room and take it into her crate...go figure. I'm sure your bra is there, but I don't have the heart to unset my adorable dog, can you wait until she is finished with her morning nap?
