list---
1.stop mocking lush even though she mocked flylady-----
i want to send flynag an email---can you write it for me lush-----i am going to post what a friend of mine ---someone i RECOMMENDED the website to {flylady.net that is}SAID about the site and the lady---here it is---HOW shall i answer me friend and WHAT should i say to flyhag?????------"I don`t get this. Flylady wants you to get rid of your junk but wants you to
buy junk from her like totebags, dustbusters & lapel pins?????????/ Sounds
like she`s getting rich to me"

Lush 02-07-2003 02:38 PM

I'm allowed to mock Flyhag!

There is no reason I shouldn't mock Flybag. She is a complete phoney. Did you read her bio? She's a nut, too.
I'm still sick. All I can do is sleep. That is all that is wrong with me. I have to get up occasionally to stretch all my sore joints, then I sleep again. I should detox while this is going on...I'll be completely rested and detoxed.
It isn't nice to mock my lists because:
1. I'm sick.
2. If being thought of as boring was a deterrent to posting here, I would have stopped five years ago. I find this post no more boring than my lists. Read it. There's nothing interesting here. Put a couple of numbers in and it is unrecognizable from a cleaning list.
3. What I'm miffed about is that none of the nice people have come to my aid. They could have lied and said something nice about my lists. Maybe the nice people aren't really all that nice.
4. The agitator around here is that nasty Peaches. She always is mean about my efforts to be perfect. Once she is detoxed, she'll be impossible.
5. On closer inspection, it turns out that I also have a headache. I'm not just tired and achey, I have a headache, too.
6. that's all, I'm tired of this.
I'm sure something interesting is on TV...bye

large courier deep-pink hello you bags--- I AM SPENDING THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON SENDING HAPPINESS AND WELLNESS VIBES TO LUSHWHINE AND PRACTICING THE CODES AND IMAGE ATTACHMENT CRAP----I AM JEALOUS OF YOU WHO KNOW HOW TO WORK THEM---EVEN THOUGH IT IS BLIZZARDING OUT,I STILL WILL HAVE MARGIE NIGHT.

Wabby 02-07-2003 04:19 PM

Wow. Whatta bunch a whiners. If you only had a sunny disposition like I have, it would be sunny and lovely outside instead of frigid and snowy. I take full credit for the springtime day outside my window. I have daffodils and those little blue iris thingies blooming. Also a soft pink rhody.

Bagz, if you learn all that codes and image attachment stuff, I will be very jealous. I don't even know how to do the quote thing correctly. I accidently send HUGE photo attachments in my email. I'm a computer illiterate.:?:

I quit the flynag's group. I may have to sign up again if my house doesn't get it together soon. My problem w/ the flynag is that she has a cleaning lady!!!! , for cripes sake. How can you act so pompous and self righteous when you're not even doing it yourself????

I'm reading

Plain Truth which is very good. It's about an 18 yr old Amish girl who has an unwed pregnancy, and when the baby ends up dead she's charged w/ murder. Then a big shot attorney who is visiting relatives because she is having a moral crisis becomes her defense attorney. Good book.

Sugar, you are such a wonderful hostess, serving lentil mushroom burgers to the vegetarians.

Kiwonk 02-07-2003 04:36 PM

Poor Lush!

I miss her sparklingly witty lists, doesn't everyone?

Wabbit, you are treading on thin ice out there in Wonderland. The temp went back down to zero yesterday. We have giant snowbanks blooming.

Sugar, that is simply amazing. Who knew you could make anything out lentils and mushrooms?

Bagz, you forgot to hit "Close All Tags" But your picture came out nicely!

I should be shopping for Dd's sleepover. She is having 4 girls over tomorrow night. We cleaned for the friends who came over for the dinner the other day, so I'm not cleaning again. DD will have to vacuum and clean up her room. Only thing I'm doing is food. This is probably a lie. I will spend all day tomorrow cleaning. I don't feel like doing anything today.

Kiwi

Wabby 02-07-2003 05:00 PM

I'm practicing, can you tell???? This so confusing it's making my brain hurt.

Bagzz 02-07-2003 05:52 PM

WELL I GUESS I WILL JUST HAVE TO ATTACH IMAGES AND DO WITHOUT COLOUR UNLESS KIWI TEACHES ME!!!! I AM GOING TO DRINK NOW,WE HAVE MARGIE MIX AT THE HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cherry Cow 02-07-2003 06:16 PM

Wabby, that book sounds really good. I am reading Frankenstein, Modern Poetry, and Literature Anthology. I'm not remembering a word of it and I have to say something interesting this week.

Lushie, I like your lists. They're much better than my lists, which look like:
 • Get up at 3am and try to drive to work without crashing
 • do work
 • walk with dh
 • Come home
 • vacuum
 • exercise
 • get ds7
 • attempt to study
 • pass out on couch while trying to study
 • fight with ds14 when he decides not to tell us something important until about an hour after his bedtime, which is about four hours after my bedtime.

See how much cleaning? I'm a hypocrite.

On-topic- I've had days where I've kept my calories to about 1200, but my average is closer to 1500. According to Fitday, and accepted nutritionist wisdom, I should be losing 2 pounds a week. Yeah, right. But my heavy weight tapes are fun.

Sugar P, I hope you feel better. Also anyone else who is sick. I must run-- too much reading, not enough time.

That fasting guy is just a little too excited about enemas. Having had one (NOT by choice), that is an experience I NEVER want to repeat.

Kiwonk 02-07-2003 06:40 PM

It all depends on which vB Code style you are using. When you are writing a reply, the vB Code is on the left above the smilies. In Normal Mode, you have to write everything you would want in a particular font in the box that comes up. When you enter that, the font change ends with it. In Enhanced Mode, you choose all the font/color etc changes you want, write whatever you want, then hit the Close All Tags button when you want the fonts etc to end.

Good Luck

Kiwi

Cherry Cow 02-07-2003 06:45 PM

Wow, Thanks Kiwi For that tip! I didn't know about that!

Darling_Peaches 02-07-2003 07:17 PM

Kiwi is such a show-off.

I am alone tonight. Tomorrow I have to spend the day taking a class about house buying. It is inconvenient for me to do this.

Kiwonk 02-07-2003 09:59 PM

oooo pretty. That's your backyard, right, Peaches?

Thank you, Cherry! I live to serve...

Lush 02-08-2003 04:31 PM

I'm feeling better!!!!!!!

Hi you big bunch of old hags. I'm feeling better. Guess what that means????? Yes, yes. And I have a specially boring one today because all of you kicked me while I was down and mocked my lists. All but Cherry. The nice girl.
First, I must talk to Wabby about Curves...isn't it wonderful? I think everyone should run right out and join. It is almost painless. It fits my attention span perfectly. I don't have to do anything for more than 30 seconds straight. Plus, I've met a ton of new people and now have workout friends. They are much more loyal and tolerant than my internet friends and I would dump the bunch of you(except Cherry) for them in a minute if I had a way to transmit my cleaning list to them.
Bagz, did you see Peaches' offensive anti-Catholic joke? She didn't have the nerve to post it here because with all that lovely curly hair, you KNOW the 3fcs are probably Catholic. Protestants just don't have the lovely hair we Catholics have. I think that is why anti-Catholic bias is so socially acceptable. They are jealous.
Should I cook dinner? I think I will. My family deserves dinner, I guess.
Here is my list:
1. get book on tape ( A Widow For One Year is so good) done
2. shift wash done
3. Put dinner in the oven done
4. unload dw done
5. load dw done
6. clear counter
7. clear table
8. Clear dr table
9. take trash out
10. check back here.
Yes, it is a dull list. But, why would I care?
gotta go. bye

Kiwonk 02-08-2003 05:17 PM

I thought it was a dumb blonde joke. I was going to be offended, but I guess I'll let you be offended. Good luck with that boring list. I have to go make some dinner and then withstand the onslaught of the teen girls. I already had to nix their watching an R-rated movie, that one of the girls was going to bring. I hate being put in that situation. You'd think their parents would have better sense. Maybe I should tell their parents if they want to bring R-rated movies, we're going to serve them all mixed drinks.

Darling_Peaches 02-08-2003 05:52 PM

As oldest haggiest baggiest-eyed hag here, I am USING MY VETO POWERand demanding that SHIFT WASHbe banned from lists on this forum.

Here's what I did today:

Sat between a slightly masculine woman and two people who didn't speak English and who ate all day
Had a quesadilla for lunch
Called Herbie when it was over as his bubba is in town and I thought I might see him
Saw him
Drove to get ds
Why are you reading this?
Came home
That's all
Kiwi, do you think that when the dd goes to other houses they show her those movies? The Duke forms this include one to allow your kid to see R rated movies. They explain that they would be shown for a good reason like a film critic class or philosophy. Also, this year, 10th graders may leave the campus without a Duke escort. For one hour after dinner. Or is before dinner? Anyway, they won't get far.

I am going to the dermotologist on Tuesday. Herbie will pay for it . That's kind of him and I asked him to do it anyway. But the
 • real reason
 • he's paying for it
 • is that he has spider bites
 • or something
 • and he thinks it's something
 • he caught
 • from me
 • because of my rash

Herbie isn't blond.

SugP 02-08-2003 06:30 PM

The things you learn at 3fc!

Who says you can't teach an old cow new tricks? And to think that all this time I was painstakingly typing stuff into that silly little box! This is much more relaxing.

Through a strange twist of fate, I am neither blonde nor Catholic, so I quite enjoyed that joke. Fairly risque, but tasteful at the same time. It also reminded me that Pancake Tuesday (the day before Ash Wednesday) will be rolling around soon and I want you all to be ready.

Today we went to a trade fair called ABF - Auto, Boot und Freizeit. I'm sure you can figure out the first two, and the last one means "leisure time", whatever that is. Dh always gets free tickets from his company so we get to look at boats, cars, motorhomes, whirlpools and garden furniture that we can't afford. I ate some peach frozen yogurt and successfully avoided having both my shoes polished and my glasses cleaned.

Now I just need someone to tell me how to attach an image. If I have one saved on my hard drive what do I do?

SugP 02-08-2003 06:48 PM

Hoping this will work!

SugP 02-08-2003 06:55 PM

This is fun!

Darling_Peaches 02-08-2003 07:45 PM

How wonderful of Kiwi to teach us all this stuff.

Darling_Peaches 02-08-2003 08:15 PM

Is this cute or what?????? ????? I am so bored.

Bagzz 02-08-2003 08:45 PM

wellllllll-----i am sorry you are bored but i just had a birthday party for dh with a bunch of wild babies running around like the proverbial chickens at least the teenagers are sensible and aren't sitting in their plates of fries and getting ketchup all over their pantlegs!!!! but there is ONE good thing---at least the babies go to bed!!!!!

Darling_Peaches 02-08-2003 09:31 PM

I have never
heard of sitting
in a plate of fries
before
that must be a
Canadian baby
idea.
Is your mom there?
Tell her I said HI
Did dh have a nice birthday?
Tell him I said HI
Just go ahead
and tell them all
I said HI
ok?
now
I am testing
that must be a
Canadian baby
idea.
Is your mom there?
Tell her I said HI
Did dh have a nice birthday?
Tell him I said HI
Just go ahead
and tell them all
I said HI
ok?
now

Sugar, your images are wonderful. Peaches, I know he gives you credit cards and cars, but how do you put up with this? You have to buy a huge new couch to make up for the skin rash remark.
bye

Kiwonk 02-08-2003 11:53 PM

You guys are hoot!

Happy Birthday to Mr. Bagz :hb:

Lovely lil pics, Sugar. And Peaches.

Glad you found the List boxes, Lush. I can't believe you've been doing them by hand either. I thought you were a professional list maker.

Here's what I did today:
 • Spent too much time, but not too much money, grocery shopping
 • Found out my old bf was dumped by his fiancee, sent sympathetic email
 • Made French Chocolate Silk Pie, by request of DD
 • Made impromptu delicious dinner consisting of
 1. Chicken breasts sauteed with garlic, lime juice and sherry
 2. Mashed potatoes
 3. Green beans
 • Lost my hearing while 4 girls screeched a lot
 • Served chocolate pie and washed dishes
 • Talked to my mother on the phone
 • Helped DH play the guitar. Badly
 • Dislodged the last remaining teenager from the computer and hogged it for myself
 • Didn't shift wash

Herbie is sounding more and more blond. Caught it from you, eh? When was that, the last time you shared a hat? Or was it the time he came over and rubbed his forehead on yours? Silly man.

Yes, of course, I know that DD has seen R-rated movies at other people's houses. A few years ago I used to tell her she couldn't, and if they wanted to watch an R-rated movie, I wanted her to call me for permission (she never did of course, but I think just other people knowing I didn't appreciate their showing her inappropriate material was enough to lessen the problem back then). She's old enough now that I don't worry about it as much. But I can't in good conscience let a bunch of girls from other families watch something at my house that they wouldn't be allowed into at the theater.

Kiwi

Darling_Peaches 02-09-2003 07:03 AM

There wasn't always a list box, Lushpoo. Kiwi asked them to add it so it would be easier us all to emulate you.

This is the truth:
 • Herbie thinks I got the rash from the "d*mn cats"
 • I have been at his house and reclined on the sofa
 • He uses the sofa
 • That's how he think I gave it to him
 • even though his spots are on his calves
 • He also said
 • That what I have is dandruff (once he saw it)
 • But dandruff doesn't usually extend to ones eyebrow, does it?

Bagzz 02-09-2003 08:27 AM

YOU HAD BETTER TELL THAT HERBIFEROUS CLOD THAT YOU WILL GIVE USSSSSSSS HIS EMAIL ADDRESS AND THEN HE WILL BE VERY SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!IMAGINE BLAMING YOU OR YOUR CATS:dizzy: :dizzy: DIZZY INDEED!!!!!!my dd had a rash once and we called the vet to ask if it had to do with her sleeping with the cat----he said that cats don't transmit rashes to humans----fleas maybe but not rashes----you can have an allergy BUT the cat won't give you the rash---AND it is highly unlikely that it would get passed on from the couch----I AM STILL MAD AT BEING TOLD I HAD SCRATCHY FEET AND THAT DANDRUFF REMARK REALLY HAS ME BOILING!!!!! it sounds like a reaction to "product" or maybe an allergy type rash--------give us his address:s: :s: {kiwi---your menu sounded divine!!! yummmmmmmmmmm---we ordered out Chinese for the ole man --thanks for the greetings}i totally agree with you about the movie {r rated} i was the same way and was horrified when the girls watched friday the 13th when they were like grade 4 and 6 at some dim idiots house!!!!!!! i am still mad about that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kiwonk 02-09-2003 01:01 PM

Herbie has the creeping crud

Dontcha think? Or is he saying he has dandruff of the calves? That would be original.

My email is dead, don't anybody write to me today. Stupid prexar (our isp) is down although I seem to be able to get on the internet. Our web page is missing (not that there is anything on it to look at, really). I just get really p-o-ed when these things don't work right.

Gee, I think I have Herbie's address.....:s:

Well, the girls finally went to bed about 1 am or so. Not that they got to sleep for at least 2 more hours. Slept till 11:00. I made them french toast and they are getting dressed finally. They're going outside to toboggan down the driveway  Hope they don't break anything..

I have a monster headache. Birthday party headache. There should be a special medicine for that. Part migraine relief, part valium, or something.

Kiwi

SugP 02-09-2003 04:01 PM

IF cats give you anything, they give you fleas, and then you would have red itchy spots on your ankles and *not* above your eyebrows. Are there kind of white, shiny, scaly things too? It could be psoriasis. Peachy, don't listen to Herbie, just go to the doctor and make him pay for it. I suppose it could also be STRESS:mad: and therefore all Herbie's fault.

I'm turning over a new leaf. My kitchen has been spotless for two days now. I must be coming down with something. Laundry is of course NOT shifted. Just lying there in a damp heap until tomorrow.

Friday is Valentine's Day. I saw a recipe at Martha Stewart for home made heart-shaped ice cream sandwiches (could these be made in a sandwich maker, do you think?):dizzy: Very cutesy.

All these birthdays are reminding me that we also have the big Feb 28, March 4, March 11 Pisces Men Extravaganza coming up. Ds9 just wants to play computer games with his friends and eat pizza or something, ds6 wants chocolate cake and *no girls* at his party, and dh just wants to not be reminded that he's turning 41.

Darling_Peaches 02-09-2003 05:27 PM

Just FYI (for y'alls info) cats do give human ringworm. I don't think that's what I have though. Maybe it's what Herbie has!!!!

Kiwonk 02-09-2003 07:04 PM

That would be ironic

He never gives you a ring, so your cat gives him ringworm!! Poetic justice!

The party girls are gone. I offered to give them all a ride home, so that I wouldn't have to wait around for their parents to show up. :s: Now I am making bean soup with kielbasa in it for dinner. With garlic bread. And maybe a salad if I work up enough enthusiasm.

One of DD's friends gave her a thong for her birthday :o They certainly are a bunch of characters. Just before they left they requested that she play a videotape she had told them about of her singing a song when she was about 4 years old. It was so funny -- "I don't like it in a carseat" Priceless.

I'm shocked to hear about the state of your kitchen, Sugar. I had the kitchen table all nice and clean (and cleared off) for DD's party, and within 2 hours of them leaving I had it covered again. Yay for me.

Kiwi

Bagzz 02-09-2003 09:24 PM

i stand corrected----ringworm is transmitted, but it would be easily recognized----my dd had pityriasis rosea {sp??} and i was trying to blame the cat to no avail-----if you have THAT peaches, you have to wait for it to disappear!!!!go to the dr and of course, charge Mealy Mouth---tell him he must have calve-ious----you get it from breaking off with a cow.

Bagzz 02-09-2003 09:25 PM

i meant to say CALVE-IOSIS PITOSIS HOGAROSIS,but i forgot.

Darling_Peaches 02-10-2003 08:01 AM

Good morning to YOUUUUUU
I don't know what to say as I am blown away by Bagz' fluency in Latin. So I'll just go quietly

Bagzz 02-10-2003 12:35 PM

ohhhhhhhhhhhh NOOOOOOOOOOOO

IT IS GOING TO SNOWWWWWWWWW AGAIN!!! I AM IN SHOCK AND DISBELIEF----WHEN WILL THIS END???????????

Wabby 02-10-2003 02:00 PM

Peachezzzzz!!!! You got that rash from Herbie, not the other way around! He rested his diseased ankles on the couch, and you unknowingly came along and laid your unsuspecting head on his germ infested sofa. I hope the Doctor bill is a big fat one and it requires lots of very expensive tests and an even more expensive prescription. The nerve of that man!!!! :jig:

I'm recovering from my first spring time garden work out. I'm in pain.

Lush, you are the curves queen! I haven't gone back since my surgery, but I think tomorrow is the day.

I still [blue]can't figure out the color thing. Maybe this will work.

nope [how about this?wow!wow!wow!Look at me!!!!
