:s: :s: Hee, Hee, Hee:devil: I feel so sneaky!!! :goodvibes

Hello ladies...just popping in for a quick hello. Am pretty tired today as I am getting up every hour of the night to go to the bathroon. I thought that at 13 weeks that stops!!!:?:

Desiree- Don't worry, I think we are all pretty feisty here!:D And welcome aboard!

Well ladies, I know this was a short one...I did post my bio on the bio thread but, I'm falling asleep.

I will hopefully be more alert tomorrow.

Have a great day!

Before I fall asleep on the keyboard....I thought I would share a goodie that was sent to me. I don't know who the author is but it's pretty funny

Q: I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life. Is this true?
A: Your heart is only good for so many beats, and that's it .... don't waste them on exercise. Everything wears out eventually. Speeding up your heart will not make you live longer; that's like saying you can extend the life of your car by driving it faster. Want to live longer? Take a nap.

Q: Should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables?
A: You must grasp logistical efficiencies. What does a cow eat? Hay and corn. What are these? Vegetables. So a steak is nothing more than an efficient mechanism of delivering vegetables to your system. Need grain? Eat chicken. Beef is also a good source of field grass (green leafy vegetable). A pork chop can give you 100% of your recommended daily allowance of vegetable slop.

Q: Is beer or wine bad for me?
A: Look, it goes to the earlier point about fruits and vegetables. As we all know, scientists divide everything in the world into three categories: animal, mineral, and vegetable.
We all know that beer and wine are not animal, and they are not on the periodic table of elements, so that only leaves one thing, right? My advice: Have a burger and a beer and enjoy your liquid vegetables.

Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio?
A: Well, if you have a body, and you have body fat, your ratio is one to one. If you have two bodies, your ratio is two to one, etc.

Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise program?
A: Can't think of a single one, sorry. My philosophy is: No Pain...Good!

Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you?
A: You're not listening. Foods are fried these days in vegetable oil. In fact, they're permeated in it. How could getting more vegetables be bad for you?

Q: Will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle?
A: Definitely not! When you exercise a muscle, it gets bigger. You should only be doing sit-ups if you want a bigger stomach.

Q: Is chocolate bad for me?
A: Are you crazy? Hello..... Cocoa beans?... Another vegetable!! It's one of the best feel good food around!
Well I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may have had about food and diets. Have a cookie... after all, flour is a veggie!
One more thing: ... "When life hands you a lemon, ask for a bottle of tequila and some salt."

CJ 01-29-2003 01:34 PM

OK Sylvia - you earned this:

BRAT - BRAT - BRAT - BRAT - BRAT - BRAT- BRAT- BRAT !!!!!!!!!

Good job on starting the new thread. And in case you are wondering Desiree - Brat is a pet name we have for whoever starts the next thread. Way back when, it was always a race (usually between me and Sharon) who started the new thread first! One time I beat Sharon by 1 second! yes, we both posted at the same time, but we went by the time and I got on 1 second sooner - so I made Sharon delete hers! hahaha ... You almost had to be there ... one time Sharon and I were chatting on ICQ and I kept her busy and at the same time started a new thread ... remember Sharon?

Well, got to run ... am still putting stuff into my new computer desk and filing papers and getting stuff ready for our taxes to be done!

I'll be back later on ... Have a great day you all!

Love, CJ

ethansmommy 01-29-2003 06:34 PM

LOL @ CJ and Sylvia.

I have one question, though. Why do you start a new thread with the number? For example, this thread is titled "The Thin Group #93". What does the 93 mean? :?:

I'm sure I'll catch on you all of you soon enough. :D

CJ 01-29-2003 07:48 PM

Desiree: The # after The Thin Group represents how many threads ... when we get to 30 posts we always start a new thread so the threads won't be so long - so the next one we start will be #94.

Oh yes, you asked me earler where in Colorado does my daughter live - she is in Englewood, but used to live right in Denver. I have a grandson that is living in Denver at the moment, but I think it won't be long before he moves back home in Kansas with mom - he does not like it where he is at now. Yikes, it just struck me - he is almost your age - will be 23 this year! My grandson! Yikes! My daughter who lives in Englewood is 37 ... my oldest will be 40 this year.

Talk to ya all later... I'm off to have a cup of peppermint tea w/honey. Have an upset tummy that needs "soothing".

Love, CJ

ethansmommy 01-30-2003 12:50 AM

Oh, okay. Thanks for the clarification. :)

Did your grandson go to high school here, or in KS?

aivlys 01-30-2003 09:42 PM

Howdy Ladies!

Just popping in for a quick hello. Nothing new in the weight loss department....not that I'm supposed to lose anymore than I have already. I'm still on the lookout for prenatal water aerobics....hopefully I'll find one soon. I'm actually excited about doing prenatal water aerobics....that's scary, I'm actually excited about aerobics! I'm still going to go to Curves, I go the OK from my doctor so "HELLO LEG WORK!!"

I hope you are all doing well. Here is another little inspirational something that was sent to me. I hope you all enjoy!

Have a great day!
Sylvia

Small steps to big goals

If you have trouble achieving the big goals, then break them down into
smaller, more manageable goals. If you have trouble getting to work on the
small goals, remind yourself of the bigger goals and purposes to which they
lead.
The big goals are what will drive you, motivate you, and compel you to go
forward. The smaller goals are what will actually move you steadily there.

When you have a big reason to take a small step, you're much more likely to
find a way to take that step no matter what. String those small steps together
and they'll add up to the big, important achievements you so earnestly
desire.

Any accomplishment can be broken down into steps so small as to seem trivial.
But put them all together, and the results are anything but trivial.

Keep putting one foot in front of another, and you can walk a thousand miles
or even more, as long as you're motivated enough to keep going. Stay focused
on those big goals, while persistently working through the small, day-to-day
goals, and anything is within your reach.

ethansmommy 01-31-2003 01:53 AM

Sylvia, have you tried your local recreation center? Ours here offers tons of different classes. What about asking your OB for ideas?

Thanks for sharing that little ditty. I'll have to print it out on some pretty paper and plaster it all over my house. LOL!

aivlys 01-31-2003 01:30 PM

Thanks for the advise Desiree. There is a Y about 10 minutes away that has water aerobics but I'm not sure if the'll let a prego in on the classes. I am going to go check it out in a few minutes and then figure out what to do from there. You would think that a City like San Francisco would have all sorts of stuff. I just need to find out where! I'll keep you informed later on tonight!

Have a great day!

Sylvia

aivlys 02-04-2003 11:41 PM

Where is everyone? I know you're out there, I can hear you breathing! :D

Well, I really don't have anything new going on with me. I'm still in the hunt for prenatal water aerobics. Ladies, I'm trying so hard to eat healthy but it's just so hard when nothing appeals to me. You should have seen my sister (she's 7 months pregnant) and myself on Sunday....we were both sitting in the car asking each other what we wanted to eat since neither one of us was hungry. It was pretty funny since it took us about half an hour to figure out that we wanted eggs(we are strange, what can I say) but and another 10 minutes to figure out where to go have our eggs. Good thing our other sister wasn't there, she would have slapped us for our indecision.

Well ladies, I'm off to feed the doggies! I hope to hear from you guys soon!

Take care,

Sylvia

ethansmommy 02-06-2003 12:16 AM

I'm here! I have been busy with Ethan the past few days, and I have also been trying to fill out postcard invitations for my PamPered Chef party that I am throwing at the end of the month. Man, I always forget how long it takes to fill out invitations! If I had my printer up and running, I could just whip out some tags ... but, nooooooooo! That would be entirely too easy for moi.

I am eagerly awaiting my WW kit. WHERE IS IT?? LOL - can you tell I'm impatient? :dizzy: Should be here sometime this week, though.

I am about to blow myself out of the water! I just ordered GS cookies from two friends of mine who have girls in troops. Oh dear, I can see me downing a whole box! Please hold me back when they arrive, will you??

I have also been invited to a (belated) wedding reception at our dear friend's house. The friend of ours is European, so I think I will have my work cut out for me at his house that night. So many tempations, so little strength! How do you ladies do it?

That's all for me, I'm afraid. Not much to report! ;)

Blunder 02-06-2003 06:14 AM

Good Morning!

Desiree, you have more to report than I. My life is verrrry uneventful. Too cold to go out of the house.

I'm still making quilts. Have finished one and working on another. I have learned so much about putting a quilt together this last month or so. Now I really appreciate all the work my mother did when I was a kid.

She saved feed sacks and all kinds of scraps of cloth left over from making our clothes. She didn't have a sewing machine so all her sewing projects were done by hand, with just a needle and thread. With all the work I have done using a machine to piece the tops, I can't imagine doing it all by hand. The ladies in those days were really dedicated to their crafts.

Good news about my daughter and grandaughter. My daughter has found a wonderful new partner in her life, has moved to Neb. and started her life over clean and sober and working a job every day! My son gave her custody of her daughter again and she has her living with them in Neb. The D.A. has agreed to drop all charges in exchange for her testimony in court. She has one more court appearance next month then this nightmare should all be over! Thank God!

We're supposed to get some more snow and ice today. I'm hoping Spring gets here pretty soon, beginning to get cabin fever.

I bought some tulips at WalMart a few days ago. They are blooming and smell heavenly. I told Tommy I bought them just for him, haha, now he will have to plant the bulbs in my flower beds he created last year!

Our living arrangement is still working just fine. He stays in his room and I stay in mine. He does the yard work and a couple times a month he cleans the bathroom and mops the kitchen floor.
He buys his own food and cooks, does his own laundry, and loves all my animals! I guess I couldn't find a better roommate, and I don't have to be alone in this old house.

Hugs, Judy

aivlys 02-06-2003 12:44 PM

Hello Ladies!

I'm popping in for a quick hello. I have to jump in the shower because I'm meeting a friend for lunch. I wanted to share something that was sent to me! I hope I don't drive you guys crazy with these things! I'll post more later!

Hugs to all

Tips for Maintaining Your Exercise Program
Fitness : Fitness Articles
It's never too late to begin an exercise program. No matter when you start, exercise improves health. Even people who start exercising later in life appear to gain many of the same benefits as people who have exercised their whole lives, according to research by Ralph Paffenbarger, Jr., MD, Professor Emeritus at Stanford University School of Medicine. "At least this is true for cardiovascular disease," he explained.

Physical activity throughout life can help protect against some cancers. For breast and prostate cancer, exercise may help by regulating hormone levels. For colon cancer, physical activity stimulates movement through the bowel, reducing the length of time the bowel lining is exposed to harmful substances.

Many people invest in exercise equipment but find it can be difficult to stick to an exercise program. Before that piece of equipment gets dusty, here are some tips to help keep you on track:

Exercise for the health of it
Rather than working on developing a perfect body, focus on feeling better. Make a decision for yourself and your well being that exercising will help your health.

One step at a time
Begin your exercise program gradually. Don't expect to run a marathon within a month. Exercise should not feel like punishment, so choose the type you are most likely to enjoy. If you try to do activities you dread, you are not likely to follow through. Begin with what is easiest for you.

Set reasonable goals
Know what is realistic for you to accomplish. You are more likely to continue your routine if you fit exercise into your schedule. People often fail because they try to do too much. Pick several small goals instead of one large goal. Start with one area of fitness you want to improve first.

Pace yourself
Exercise does not have to be exhausting. Moderate exercise is better than hard, intense exercise. People who work out in several short sessions (e.g., 10 minutes) are more likely to stick to their fitness program than those who try to work out for 60 minutes at a time.

Be specific and choose variety
Rather than having general goals like "getting in shape" or "exercising more," choose concrete goals such as walking 20 minutes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and doing stretching exercises five minutes each morning. The more variety you have, the more likely you will continue. A well-rounded exercise program that includes aerobic exercise, strength training using weights, and flexibility exercises - even when performed regularly in small increments - is key, according to the American College of Sports Medicine. Incorporate fitness into your lifestyle. Begin to see exercise as an everyday opportunity. For example, use the stairs instead of the elevator, walk during lunch, or bike to work. Combine fitness with your family chores and activities, such as raking leaves or gardening. Join an aerobics class if you want to meet people or have a more structured fitness program.

Motivate yourself
Try visualization techniques to help your motivation. Imagine yourself being in shape and how it feels. Create a vision of yourself looking fit. Rather than focusing on feeling out of shape, picture yourself feeling energized after your workout. Also, reward yourself when you meet each of your goals.

Get a support system
Build a support system of family, friends, co-workers, and/or neighbors. They can help encourage you when your motivation is low. You can also exercise with someone else. Try to find a buddy who shares similar fitness interests. Many shopping malls have mall-walker programs where you can meet others.

Expect setbacks and prepare for obstacles
Things like time, illness, or bad weather may occasionally get in the way. Disruptions are inevitable. Accept them and move on. If you go off your program, you can always adapt and resume. Some exercise is always better than none at all.

ethansmommy 02-07-2003 02:12 AM

Judy -- I'm afraid I don't know the whole backstory about your family but, from what I can tell, that is INDEED good news about your daughter and granddaughter!! Congratulations! ;)

As far as sewing and quilting and the like, I have no clue where I would begin with such a project. Call it the curse of my generation, but I don't think I know a single soul who knows how to sew that I grew up with. In fact, my mother is coming over this weekend to put some curtains for my living room together, and we will hang them up together. My mom is great at sewing and crocheting! She made Ethan a few blankies while I was pregnant with him. :D

Sylvia -- You don't drive ME crazy with your posts, but I am a newbie still. ;) Maybe after I have been here a while ... How was your lunch?

aivlys 02-07-2003 02:40 AM

Hello Ladies!

I hope you are all doing well. I had a very nice lunch with my friend. I hadn't seen her since November and it was great to see her. You know, I was laid off a year ago today. Today when I went into the financial district(San Francisco), I realized how much I miss being in the hustle and bustle of the corporate world. Oh well, I guess that is something I have to deal with.

I did manage to take a nice walk through the streets of San Francisco and all of those lovely hills. God I love this City!

Judy- So nice to hear from you. I'm glad that your daughter is getting her life in order and is realizing that Allura is her first priority. {{{{{JUDY}}}}} I know it means alot to you.

Desiree- I had a very nice lunch and a nice walk. I'm 15 weeks pregnant (as of today) and seems that everything I eat is giving me heartburn so I had to be very careful of what I chose. I had a turkey sandwich that still gave me heartburn. Oh well, the joys of pregnancy.

CJ and Sharon-WHERE ARE YOU GUYS? I bet your hitting those buttershots aren't ya?

Well ladies, I'm off to bed.

Take care!
Sylvia

ethansmommy 02-08-2003 04:12 AM

Good for you with the walk, Sylvia!! :) I remember the days of heartburn from just staring at my food in a funny way. I had a bad gall bladder, too, so that didn't help!!

Sassy 02-08-2003 11:27 PM

Hi guys,
Been meaning to post, I have just been working every night at H & R Block, I had to demand Mondays off so I can do some things ect. I had 2 crowns put in a couple of weeks ago and had the permanent one put in Monday and have such pain in my toothers. The Dentist said there is not infection, but maybe just irriated a nerve, but Monday I am going to the doctors to see if they can give me something. Maybe an antiobotic or some pain medicine to help me till my mouth calms down.

Sylvia-I am here, no Buttershots yet, gotta wait till CJ comes here, can't start without her, or can I? LOL Good luck in your quest to find a water aerobics place for yourself. Thanks so much for all those helpful posts, some of them are soooo funny, but they are all helpful I think like the exercise one, I really liked that one since I have been trying to do my exercising faithfully now.

Desiree-Gosh I sure do love Pampered Chef parties, because you get to eat all those yummy things they make like Carmel Apple Taffy Pizza, ever had that? YUM I have been to many of them in my lifetime. I am sure it will go well for you.

Judy-What wonderful news about Doris, getting Allura back is just what she needs to get her life back on track. I am happy that your son is giving her another chance. That sure is a great arrangement with your roomie, you got it made girlfriend.

CJ-Whoo Who where are you at? I am here, where the heck are you at? I can't wait to see you in a couple of weeks when you come for a visit. Hurry up or I will drink all the Buttershots. LOL Don't know what we are doing when we are in Michigan, but surely I will try to call you and see what is what. Hope we can connect, but if not we will be seeing each other Monday the 16th.

Take care guys, gotta go see you soon and love you, Sharon
:p

ethansmommy 02-10-2003 04:59 AM

YICK! I hate the dentist. It's not so much the pain anticipation or anything like that, it's having my mouth get so dry while my jaw hangs down to my knees to get cleaned. Maybe I'm just weird like that, though! Anyway, I hope you are able to get something to make you feel better!! Good luck!!

CJ 02-11-2003 10:32 AM

Good morning everyone - bet you thought I dissappeared! lol Not a chance! Just have had a lot of things going on ... And I have to leave in a few minutes so this will be short also ...

Judy: Hey quilt lady! lol ... sounds like you have got quilting mastered ... WTG - nothing like a great hobby to work on when it's way to cold to go outside. I hate the extreme cold too .. but love the snow and we are just not getting what we normally do .. of course, if we were up at our cabin there's tons of it up there! darn. We should be up there! How wonderful about your daughter and granddaughter! Sounds like your daughter has her life turned around and I know how happy you are about that.

Slyvia: Glad everything is going well for you with your pregnancy .. Oh, I am so excited for you. Heartburn! I know what it is now but would you believe that the first time I ever experienced heartburn was when I was pregnant with my 5th child???? I didn't know what this "wierd" feeling was - no one could believe that I never experienced it before.

Desiree: Hey, did you get your WW kit yet?? Looking for you over on the food journal - where are you? lol ... Thanks for starting the weekly weigh-in again .. I think my news won't be good - yet again! Darn!

Sharon: Hey girl! It's almost buttershots time! Can't wait. Am packing our stuff as we speak. Hope your teeth are getting to feeling better now. Nothing worse than toothaches! Dick is packing his tools and we are looking forward to coming your way! Hope we connect somehow when you are here in Michigan, but if not - see ya on the 17th (Monday)!

OK ... got to run ... will check back in later.

Love, CJ

ethansmommy 02-12-2003 01:02 AM

I know, I'm a bad girl. :o I need to start documenting on here. I have been keeping track of my points, but have been bad about documenting it here. I'll try to be better. ;)

As far as my kit goes, yes, I have had it for about a week (?) now, and have read through every bit of paraphenilia at least twice!! LOL - the thing is, I'm sure I'll be re-reading it to remind myself of some things again!!

Sassy 02-13-2003 04:09 AM

Hi guys,
Glad someones around here. LOL Only takes a handful to keep this group running sometimes.

My mouth/teeth are feeling better, I went to the Doctors and she said it was just probably an irritated nerve and it would take time to heal. But she said I probably had the throbbing pain the other night because there is some fluid in my ear, and it was causing a lot of pressure in my teeth, jaw, mouth area. She gave me some medicine to help get rid of it. Than she gave me something for the pain, Hydrocodine, wow whee! That sure helps I tell you. I only take it if I need it though, when the pain is bad. Otherwise I just suck it up, but at night it seems to be the worst. Hopefully soon I will be back the way I was and this will be a thing of the past. I don't know how people with cronic pain all 24/7 do it. I sure don't want to feel like that the rest of my life. The doctor said it will take time to heal though, maybe months, but at least not years. I am thankful for that.

Desiree-So you don't like the dentist either? I hate when I get my mouth cleaned too. I guess they say I have an unforgiving lip because it tightens when they work on my mouth. LOL I just don't make it easy for them, they constantly have to tell me to relax my lip. RIGHT! Like that is so easy with their darn hand in my mouth. It ain't natural I tell you to have a hand in the mouth. Food maybe, but not a hand. HA HA So glad you got your kit now and are really into it. I know it will make thing easier for you.

CJ-Yes pretty soon the buttershots will be ours. LOL I can't wait to see you again. We will have fun, even though I have to still work things will work out. Ken is all excited to be seeing his buddy, Dick again too. See you soon.

On the weigh front, I have been doing great. Lost another 3.2 lbs making it a total of 17 since I started those Smart tapes and 29.8 lbs total, which is what I didn't manage to gain back when I went off my program. So I think I am doing pretty well. I just went into Sears, where H & R Block is located and bought a really nice black pair of dress pants. My size 16's are starting to hang, the 14's fit well, but I decided to get the 12's to motivate me. They fit, but not as confortable as I want especially in the stomach area, so I figure it is better to get the smaller size and have something to reach for. My gosh I never thought I would see a size 12 for me in my life. Yes I am a happy girl and will be a happpier girl when they are fitting me just right. :bravo:

Well better get off here, going to Michigan tomorrow for my Dad's 86th Valentines birthday :gift: so should be fun. Will see my sister in law, Chrissy and my nieces, Emily and Ellen and have a great birthday party Saturday for Papa. I can't wait.

Take care guys and keep the home fires burning till I get back.

Love, Sharon

Blunder 02-13-2003 08:07 AM

GOOD MORNING!

I've been lurking around but not posting, nothing going on here in my neck of the woods.

I just can't seem to get my weight below 233. I have been doing everything right except exercising. That seems to be a dirty word for me!

I did go to WalMart and walked around and around for a couple of hours. Can you believe.....I got out of the store without spending over $50. That's a first!

It's supposed to rain for the next couple of days. As long as it's just rain and NOT SNOW. My lawn can sure use the water. Need to soften up the ground so Tommy can plant some new flowers in my flower beds!

Hugs, Judy

ethansmommy 02-14-2003 02:04 AM

Sharon - First of all, congrats on the extra weight loss! Yahoo!! :) And "Happy Birthday" to your dad! I hope he has a great one.

I only hate dentists because my mouth gets so darn dried out and my lips get all cracked up. Guess I should slosh on some major Carmex next time?

Judy - That sounds like me; I hate to exercise, in general. And to walk around Wal-Mart for that long and not spend more than $50?? Well, you beat me on that. I go for an hour and walk out with half the store!! :o Stores like that should be banned to people like me.

aivlys 02-14-2003 12:41 PM

Happy Valentine's Day Ladies!

I hope you are all doing well. Sorry for not posting, I've been pretty busy and this heartburn just won't go away!

I'm 16 weeks and one day as of today. I went to the DR on Wednesday....I gained 6 pounds. I really don't think it was 6 pounds because I drank 1.5 liters of water before I went in ( I knew they needed a "sample"). Not a good idea because I kept running to the restroom every 5 minutes after they weighed me. So I think that I've remained the same. I still am not eating a lot, I thought I would be hungrier than I have been. I can still fit into my jeans so that is a good thing because maternity clothes are so expensive and not very nice looking.

I hope you ladies don't mind me posting in here since I'm not trying to lose weight.

Sharon- CONGRATULATIONS ON THE WEIGHT LOSS!!!:bravo: I know you are probably training for those buttershots aren't ya? Glad to hear that your teeth are better. I'm also glad to hear that Papa is doing well. Please tell Chrissy I say hello.

Judy- Shopping is a good form of exercise! It keeps you moving and it's weight lifting (you have to lift the stuff you want to buy and put it in the cart...right?). That is how I justify it! ;) Congrats on getting out of Walmart without spending more than $50....I still haven't mastered that one!

CJ-I bet you have those buttershots just waiting for you and Sharon...or are you doing a taste test to make sure they are OK?:joker:

Desiree- hang in there chickie, don't too frustrated about exercising. All it takes are baby steps.

Well ladies, I'm off to take a shower and run some errands and squeeze in some walking at the mall! :D

Have a great Valentine's Day! Try to stay away from the chocolate!

Sylvia

MK 02-15-2003 11:40 PM

Hi everyone. I wanted to see if an oldie can come back again? It has been 7 months since I was last on. If you don't mind I would like to try and come back on again.
Mary Kay

CJ 02-16-2003 01:49 AM

HAIL HAIL THE GANGS ALL HERE!!!!! Welcome back MK .. and of course we don't mind - glad to see you back! As you can see, our Thin group has gotten a wee bit "thin" (if you don't mind the pun)!! lol ... But, there are still a few of us "oldies" keeping the fire going and our newest member Desiree too! So climb aboard ...

Well, I haven't been around for a few days .. been down in bed with stomach flu! Didn't even weigh myself this week - or keep journal (of what? could not even keep tea down)! I existed on water .. and then tea and soda crackers on the second and third days! Great diet, eh?

Mary K, we have missed you! Great to see you again!

My scale read 231 a couple of days ago, I was delighted! So much that......last night I had a huge KFC dinner and blew all my efforts for the past week! Why did I do that? I know better. I"m just weak, (and hungry).

Well.....today is another day, and I'll just have to start all over again!

CJ, hope you get to feeling better real soon. I"ll bet you didn't gain this week, huh? Sorry, I couldn't resist. LOL

Hugs, Judy

Being sick is no fun at all, especially when it is the stomach flu. :( I hope you are feeling yourself very soon, Carol. ;)

As for me, I have been bad this weekend, and I think I have gained some weight back. Looks like I am going to have to get myself back on track this week, and get exercising!!! Someone please give me a swift kick in the arse!!!

I'll update with my weight tomorrow. Hopefully I really haven't gained weight - but we'll see...

Talk to you all soon!!

Hello Ladies!

I hope you are all doing well and being healthy! I'm having a hard time eating healthy. I really need to watch my carbs but for some reason, that's all I seem to be eating:mad: I think it's the whole heartburn thing and the carbs don't give it to me. I really need to get my butt in gear and start eating healthy.

Mary Kay-Welcome Back! So nice to hear from you:cp: I don't know if you have read any of the other posts but I am now 16 weeks and 5 days pregnant. You were always very supportive of me during my "baby quest". Thank you for that!

CJ- Ah CJ, you know I love you guys!!! I know how much we all mean to each other and just wanted to make sure it was OK to still post here! I hope you feel better, I know the flu isn't fun!

Judy-WAY TO GO!!! Don't worry about eating at KFC, there is always tomorrow! All it takes is baby steps!

Desiree-The arse kicker of the group is Sharon ...she has special shoes for that!:D Don't worry, there is always tomorrow.

Well ladies, I'm off.
Chat with you ladies later!
