WHAT IS DIFFERENT THIS TIME THAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL: I am not alone in my journey back ot thin. I have the wonderful support and motivation of everyone here in THE THIN GROUP and that means a lot! My wonderful friend, Sharon, once told me that you have to want to lose more than anything, and I finally got it! I started WW January 2001 at 184 lbs – lost 14 lbs – quit WW to try on my own because I wasn't following program and didn't want to keep paying the weekly fee ... I did gain back 8 of those 14 lbs ... tried following WW at home on my own - did well for a while but just couldn't stay faithful to it. Finally, in June of 2003 I started doing low-carb and got down to 167! I haven't followed it faithfully over the holidays - did gain 2 lbs back but am getting myself back on low-carbing again. Even though my weight is coming off very slow, I am not quitting until I reach my goal! AND I KNOW I CAN DO THIS! |

I just don't do well on my program, but I am working on that one. I also don't do wonderful in the journaling department either. I hopefully have a handle on the exercise and drinking my water. WHAT IS DIFFERENT THIS TIME THAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL: I think I am motivated to do it this time because I am tired of just going up and down and not getting to where I want to be. I have been on the WW program for a few years now and if I would have done what I was soppose when I first joined I would have been at goal within the year. That I truely value all of my Thin Group friends and love each and every one of you's so much. Also that my sense of humor seems to be my one of my biggest assets, I am very good natured I am told. When I make up my mind to lose, the discipline is not a problem. Working up to the decision is the problem. I think the biggest problem is that, because I am not hungry much of the time, I forget to eat and I think that by not eating enough, I am not losing as fast as I should. |

I'd be gung ho at first and then lose my motivation. Determination is what is going to see me to the end of this even when I have no motivation.
