This Sunday is my 24th wedding anniversary, so I'll just pretend I'm on the beach too. Maybe for the 25th I can go for real!!

Have a terrifc time and think about us from time to time. Relax and soak up the sun you lucky girl!!!!!

Wow Dee!!!! You must of been a raelly good girl this year to get such a great after Christmas gift!!!!!!!!! How about you smuggle me along in your luggage????? Have fun and drink a foo-foo drink with an umbrella in it for me!!!!

Well--Now my car died!! My DH had to have it towed from the shopping center that we were at to the tune of $49.00. He is going to try and repair it himself. There are holes in the engine!! Of course it had to happen at the most stressful time for me!!!

Shelley you were up really early. Sorry to hear about your car. I hope that your dh can fix it. Do you only have one car? It will be touch trying to do all your running around. Take a deep breath and hang in there.

Shelley: you must of not ate enough of those darn ol' black eyed peas!!!!! A big {{{{{HUG}}}} is being sent your way. If you are like us, just as soon as you get a small stash of cash going, something comes along to wipe it out. I hope hubby can fix the car, that will help out a great deal with the expense. The machanics in this area get about $60.00-$70.00per hour labor.

Dee: Did you save room in your luggage for me to hideout??? :lol:

Ladies ...If you could say a prayer for my family and I ...Just found out my brother who lives in New York died from carbon monoxide poisoning. A faulty furnace in the apt. He lived in ..He would have been 50 at the end of the month...Don't know how Momma is taking it but she just had the stroke in July.

Prayers will be welcomed

Oh Vicki I am sorry to hear the bad news. That is so sad. I will say prayers for you and your family. Are you able to attend the funeral? Was he married or did he have any children? My thoughts and prayers are with you.

hello girlfriends!wow im sorry to hear bout the bad news ive read.
man its some time.

we finaly got the pipes fixed.
seems ive done laundry and dishes ever since.
we stayed home for the new year.
we always do.
safer.

well im so motivated.
i lost 2 pounds.
yahoo good for the 1st weigh in of the year!been getting my excercise in as well.

Vickster, I am so, so very sorry to hear about your brother. I know that you really do not know me or I you...but just remember that over the past few years I consider your friendship something to be treasured. If you are hurting, I am hurting...
I will be saying prayers for your family tonight, let us know when you can how your Mother is handling the situation. Are you going to be able to go to New York?

Deb: Yes!!! The wine turned out great!!!! First week I wasn't for sure, but it improves weekly in the bottle. Steve (santa) just gave me a white zin kit for x-mas. I will probably start it later this week. My canada batch is still brewing...stabalized it last week. The piesporter batch ended up making 28 full size wine bottles!!!! I allow myself two glasses in the evening, but I make it into four glasses by adding some diet 7-up....I end up with a sparkling wine...hic* They say 80-100 calories per glass, not sure on the carbs, I will check into it for you.

Vicki - I was so sorry to hear about your brother. I know we are all scattered to the four winds here, but please let us know if there's anything we can do.

Sherry: I'm not a carb counter...is that good or bad??????

Did you and Deb ever decide if you were going to give curves a try??? I just seen a commercial that they are having a special promotion. The club will let you try them out for one week free, you might want to check into it if you haven't already.

Vicki-I am so sorry about the loss of your brother. My prayers are with you and yours.:angel: :angel: As Sherry would say, heaven must have needed another angel.

Debbie-It' back Tuesday for me. Monday is a hurricane makeup day, and since we didn't have a hurricane, we get the extra day off.

My DH and his partner have been working diligently on my car. Keep your fingers crossed for me!!:crossed:

The building my brother lived in was shut down due to faulty furnace and other code violations.
My father is flying up to take care of things there and sometime this week we will have a memorial service for him.
Please keep us in your prayers.

This will be a quickie post.I go back to work today. :( The children don't go back until tomorrow.

I didn't get to post yesterday because I went with Mom & Dad to Columbia (about 2 1/2 hours from here) to my Great Aunts funeral.

I'm going to go to Curves today went I get off.Gayle....I have a coupon for a free week! Thought I would go for a week and check it out!! :D
