doing my daily pop in!

Logan had his well child exam today! He is growing like he should.....the doctor said that if he keeps going on this path, he will be 5'7" by the time he is done growing! And here we thought he was going to be short, like me!

Francie~ That doesn't even begin to describe her, but I guess it is a clean start for posting on here anyways! That is great about your weight loss! Keep up the awesome work! Tommy was already thinking of ways to get even with her.....but if she wants to be childish, let her.....I refuse to be!

Sue~ Thanks for the good luck! That is exactly my thinking! The police have better things to spend their time on, then having to go to a door for a total of five minutes because someone can't act their age!

Katy~ That is my thinking! I have been dabbling at the reality site that I have been on before, and I will be hitting it hard core now!

Sorry I've been MIA. I got one of my wisdom teeth extracted on Monday so haven't really been feeling like getting on the net. Now you know I must have felt bad, huh?!! LOL.

It wasn't really that bad. They gave me a local, so yes I was awake, my MIL says I am more of a woman than she is cuz she couldn't stand to be awake during it, but it really wasn't that bad. But they did have a heck of a time getting it out. First it was a woman who tried and tried, had no luck. Then she got a guy who does a lot of wisdom teeth and he got it, but it was no easy task. He was working so hard that my head was moving back and forth!! lol. But he got it and that is all that matters to me! So I've been on pain meds and all. I try not to take them, during the day because they make me sleepy :yawn:

Anywho. I did not get the job I interviewed for. But it was nice of her to call me and tell me so I wasn't just hanging. Then I received another call from a different person, same co. for an interview that was supposed to be for today, but she cancelled, said she'd be in touch to reschedule. But found out that this lady that just called for an interview was not HR, she is the actual Hiring Manager for this position!! So that means either that HR lady who I interviewed with previously called her and told her about me, or she found my resume online herself. That is what happened to my DH when he got hired on. Inlaws are doing good so far. We go over as often as we can to help out since we are so close now. It is really nice that we're so close by.

As for WL, since my wisdom tooth extraction I really haven't been eating much at all. Heck that might be the answer! HA HA! So not too worried about WL right at this time. I have given up Caffeine once again. Have been having TERRIBLE headaches from it too. But I know its worth it to get off the stuff.

Mindee~ When we lived in WA, our downstairs neighbors called the MPs on us once, and I really lost it!! Then another time, when we had family over & had just gotten back home..the husband came upstairs and told us we were scaring his wife. Well at first he was talking to Fonzo, and I yanked Fonzo inside, told that dude to F off, and slammed the door on his face. Then Fonzo told me the thing about us scaring his wife, and I was like "I'll give her something to be scared of" and I was seriously going to punch her face in. I didnt care if I was arrested or not. But Fonzo held me back. I think after that I went on Zoloft, LOL!! You just do not mess with a girl from West Phoenix!! I was going to get ghetto on her butt!! Taking the high road is probably a better thing to do..but you should come up with several ugly things to say to her, just in case. LoL!!

Sassy~ Your tooth story scares me. LoL!! I hate the dentist. You are a strong woman for being awake during that. I hope you get the job. That is pretty great that the manager called you!! I love your "I feel special" sticker, lol!! Do you think it's a scratch-n-sniff? I miss those!

I worked out a little bit last night. I did some cleaning, played The Michael Jackson Experience & Just Dance 2. With TMJE, I found it to be a little hard. Basically nobody can dance like MJ, unless you're Justin Timberlake, Usher or Chris Brown (ew). I did have fun dancing to Thriller & Smooth Criminal though. I like that you have the choice of being either a backup dancer, or MJ. For Thriller I danced as MJ, and he just wiggles too much for me, LOL! So for Smooth Criminal, I was a backup, which was so much easier. Just Dance 2 is still my fave dance game though. I love the Just Sweat feature. It tells you how many calories you're burning off. I danced to 4 songs, so I burned a lot. It even keeps track of much you're sweating per song, lol!! Kinda cool, kinda gross. Fonzo told me that we have Dance Central for Kinnect..so I'm going to look for that, and try it before dinner.

Today started off kinda bad. I set my alarm for 11am, but ended up turning it off. I woke up at 2:30 instead. Oh well, I was really sleepy. My cats were being so bad this morning, and kept waking me up. Then Fonzo came home and woke me up again. He is so NOISY!!! LoL!! For lunch, I ate plain yogurt with frozen blueberries & a slice of sourdough toast. The plain yogurt was gross!!!! I had to sprinkle some sugar in it, and it tasted a lot better. I think I'll just try the strawberry one tomorrow. I'm going to make spaghetti & meatballs for dinner. I'm a little worried about only eating a cup of spaghetti, I don't think that will be enough. But at least fruit doesn't cost any points. I'm going to have to start using a smaller plate from now on. The bigger plates always make me feel like I should be eating more.

Does anyone have a problem not feeling totally full? I just feel like if my stomach isn't bursting, then I'm not satisfied. I hope that goes away..

Okay...time to go looking for Dance Central. I hope the pile of junk doesn't swallow me. (I dunno why that made me think of the garbage pile from Fraggle Rock..or was it Sesame Street? Wow..I need to watch those shows again.)

And here I thought the end of the drama was over on Monday night! Tommy came in this morning and the first things out of his mouth were "I am pissed.....and I am ready to move the he!! up out of here." Then he asked me if the office manager had called me and I said no......so then he went on to tell me that the office manager told him that supposedly our next door neighbor told the office manager that she got the police report (the anonymous caller police report) from Monday, and she has all this evidence about how we are verbally abusive and plain abusive to our kids. And that if she hears us being abusive to our kids again, she will call CPS on us. She told the office manager that she is going to write a letter to the owner and have them put it in our file and all this other bullcrap!

I then called the office manager after I talked to Tommy and wanted to see what she would say to me......she told me that she is just doing her job and can't get into the middle of it and blah blah blah. I then asked her when the next door neighbor's lease is up (because she had mentioned that she was going to move out when her lease was up).....she pulled this whole thing about how she can't tell me that.......so then I said "well then I guess we have no choice but to move out before our lease is up" and then hung up.

Sassy~ I know what you went through with the wisdom tooth extraction! I had one pulled, but I need to get the other three pulled plus a couple of other teeth and some other work! I know what you mean about the giving up caffeine as well. I am only down to one pop a day, and I actually look forward to when I can start drinking my water! Before I know it, I will be wanting the water all day and no pop!

Francie~ Trust me! We have said a lot of stuff about her, which I am sure that she has heard since I am sure she has her ear pressed to the wall all day waiting for us to say something!

I do have to add that if I don't lose any weight this week, I will be shocked! This lady has gotten us both so stressed out that, I can tell you that I know I haven't been eating like I should.

I am suppose to eat between 1980 to 2330 calories a day, and I have only managed to do that ONCE this week since I have been tracking my food!

I will never say that I am bored again. Something is always happening. Mom had to be brought back to the ER yesterday and she was admitted. We are looking at pneumonia....and possibly more. She is having some tests this morning. She is already some improved and knows where she is and is coherent. She doesn't remember yesterday and that is for the best, She was very sick. Might have been a flu bug which has progressed to more.
I will check back when I have an update.

Mindee~ OKay, this woman needs to go. WTF is her problem?? Does she have some sort of vendetta against you guys?! She probably does have her ear pressed up against the wall just waiting for something to happen. She seriously needs to mind her own business. I seriously hate people like that! Can I kick her butt for you???

well for starters, I am now down a total of two pounds......no thanks to the nimrod next door!

Sue~ Your house sounds like mine! The kids decided now to share.......too bad it is their sicknesses! They were nice enough to share it with daddy this time......so I have a house full of sickies, and I forgot to grab some orange juice while at the store earlier! I hope your mom has a speedy recovery and gets back home very quickly!

Francie~ You might have to step in line on that one......there is a list that seems to be growing longer every day with people who want to give the next door neighbor a piece of their mind! Apparently, she is trying to get the office manager on her side. I found out that the city ordinance is 11pm to 7am for loud noise......so this lady is screwed!

Not if you count the can't eat much because I had my tooth yanked out diet! lol. I figure I'll get back on the ball eventually.

Mindee -- That sucks about your neighbor! I say exercise some by using them as a punching bag!!! LOL! I'm just glad my tooth is out. I feel for people who have to have more than one extracted. The lady next to me in the dentist had 3 extracted and had to come back for more! I feel for her!!! Well I broke down and am back to drinking 1 glass of caffeinated beverage a day. The headaches were just killing me!!! :headache:

Mom was much improved today. I spent half the day with her. Then DH and I actually got to go on our lunch "date." Had a good time. Went to Target and got my Kindle. (which I have been playing with...) Then went to 2 jewelry stores and ring shopped. I found 3 I loved and still have to make a decision. Then off to shop for my new gas stove...another decision to make this week.

Will go spend most of the day with mom tomorrow, then maybe some answers on Monday when the rest of the tests come back. Seems like a flu bug, compounded by pneumonia, a UTI and lord knows why her BP is going so low. On a positive note: her back surgery was totally successful...no back, leg or hip pain. She can stand upright again. Hoping once we cross this road we are on she will be like new.

we got out and spent some time together as a family away from the chaos of this place.

Sassy~ That picture cracked me up! I actually got a thing in the mail from my dentist reminding me that I have to come back in for more work to be done....in time I will. You don't know how close I have come to using them as punching bags.....but now I am fighting fire with fire.....and they will be the ones getting burned! Besides I told Tommy that I think she likes him and that she is mad that he isn't paying attention to her.

Trying to decide on 3 rings....pics. enclosed. All are the same 1 carat. The anniversary band looks okay with my bridal set. The Past, present, future...one with side stones, one without, both would not be worn with the bridal set. Decisions...decisions. And then I tried on a 6 thousand dollar 1 carat cushion cut solitaire. I told DH if we were getting married today I would hold out for that. LOL

Mindee~ JW, but does this lady work? Or have any friends? (Although, it wouldn't surprise me if she didn't, lol)

Jules~ Kids are always waking up early. I used to wake my mom up at 5am on the weekends, LOL!! But then she told me to just "play quietly" in my room. I'm going to say we'll move to Az sometime in July. I'm not sure of the exact date Fonzo's discharge though. He is getting a special medal soon though! It's some achievement medal. I'm so proud of my sailor, lol!

So this week is starting out to be crappy. For one thing, the realtor is giving us the runaround. We keep setting up appointments for Fonzo's dad to see the houses we like for us, and the realtor keeps cancelling or rescheduling. He says he has other appointments. We're like..ya, with US! We scheduled first, so WTF! I think it's because we're not actually there, and he doesn't see us as that important. BUT he is a very stupid man and could lose a lot of money if we go with someone else. I'm thinking of just flying down there and looking myself. But Fonzo doesn't want me to go.

Something else that sucks? I gained 4 pounds!!!! I don't understand this. I've been doing everything right. But then again, I've only been doing WW for 4 days. (hmm..that's a pound a day) I'm seriously thinking about buying this appetite suppressants I saw at GNC. I clearly cannot lose weight on my own. I'd talk to my doc about it, but she'd probably just tell me to try harder and cut out bad foods (which I already did). I also really need to get back on a normal sleeping schedule. I need to make a list of what I need to do, lol! I work better with lists (yes, I'm a little bit OCD).

OH, then to top it off, I'm talking to a counselor on wed, and I'm nervous about that. I still have to print out the forms they sent me. Ugh..I dunno if I'm ready for this.

Fonzo just told me not to give up on myself again. He says that I ALWAYS do this whenever I gain a little bit. He's trying to make me feel better right now, but I'm ignoring him, lol!! I just want to be a Debbie Downer for another half an hour, then I'll go back to being peppy...or as close to peppy as I can get, without actually needing a cheerleading outfit, lol!

Well FIL is really sick. I hope he feels better and doesn't end up in the hospital! We had to go over the inlaws today and help out with emptying litter boxes, taking out trash, etc.

Sue -- Sure hope your mom gets well soon! Glad her surgery was a success at least! My vote is for ring #2.
