Gang, I'm really sick. My throat is so sore and feels like it's swollen almost shut. I have an awful cough and no voice. I'm going to try and get to the doc today. I'm taking some pauses on my challenges...or I'll probably just start them over when I am over this crud. |

I might fine tune it once school starts and my schedule settles in. My weight is back to normal today, that was crazy but I still don't want to ever see that number on my scale again!!If I'm going to have a 6 pound bloat, then let it be down in the 50's or 40's even. I know I have to step it up with my eating, or tone it down really;). I tend to do better when DH is working, and he'll be next week, so hopefully we can really get this party started. I took a nap later on....I had a big dinner last night but still stayed at my calorie limit. Small drop in weight but who knows. It could, and probably will, be back tomorrow. My 7 year old has called me fat twice in 2 days. Once he said "wow, you're fat. Fatter than I even thought!!" That just makes me feel so good. (sarcasm) My husband never says anything about my weight, but the kids sure can be blunt. AH well, more fuel for the fire.... Keep stepping envelope! Does it count if you just march in place while you watch TV or something, or do you actually have to be going somewhere? |
Apple, I think your 7-year-old is in serious need of some serious "training!" For his own good. :lol3: Then again, the fact that he thought you were thinner is a good thing, right? ;)
Sorry, people, I've been sick, still am. Can't hear, ears are clogged, must be an infection. Need rest. But, feeling much better than I did last week (when my ears were better though....) envelope, good for you! :drill: Forward, March!!!! Hang in there all! |

DH restocks, had evil food for dinner that just screams out for beer and....:shrug: There is a silver lining though, lately I have noticed that I can't drink a lot of my favorite type of beer (IPA), it's better to just savor one. So thats a start in the right direction. I ate a lot yesterday too, but burned a lot of cals running and swimming. According to my loseit program I came in under my limit. Thats another :shrug:, because it really doesn't make much sense eating that much and still being on program It's simple math I suppose, but I think the human body is a little more complicated than that. So I am hoping to cut back a bit today to be safe. Hope everyone is feeling better. Derry, please come back!!! |
Hi everyone, I would like to join too!! What a great idea this is!
My goals are going to be: No eating after dinner, 64oz water or green tea/day, and do a half hour of cardio every day. Starting Monday, lol, I'm still officially on holidays until then :) |
Sorry I've been away. battling bronchitis since tuesday...and on strict bed rest and too tired/weak to get on the puter. All challenges stopped. Am hoping to be up and around by Monday or Tuesday...so I'll get back to it then.
Apple - bummer about the 'bad' food your DH bought. Stay strong, sista. Welcome MerlotMe! hope everyone else is doing well...it's back to bed for me. |

I took a pause on the tri schedule, but I'm wondering if I should have a rest day scheduled anyway. I still haven't written out an "official"schedule... I am going to work out a lot these next 3 days and keep the cal count a bit lower than usual to make up for the evil week-end. I hope everyone else did all right and still on challenge! |
10,000 steps start over ... I felt horrible yesterday after my long jog and today. I have not even looked at my steps, but I know that I did not get near 10,000.
