I would love to try curves, but don't think I would stay with it ... when we get home from the cabin (end of the month) I am going to try really hard to get on my treadmill every day .. still pampering my bad knew, it is sloooooooowly getting better. At least the swelling is down now.
Well, went to the laudromat and played "slots" but didn't win anything! lol So when we were done with our laundry we did go to the casino - still didn't win. Well, I did, but put it all back in the machine - and then some!
OK ... off to do my journal for today ... was a bit high, but at least I journaled!

I've been sooo busy. Guess what I'm doing? I'm making quilt blocks! I got this bug to do a quilt so I went to WalMart and bought all the supplies and got myself started. The pattern I'm making is called "Chevron", pretty simple, a good one for a beginner like me. Almost ready for the fun part, putting it together with the batting and the backing. I have no idea what I'm doing but I got information online and I think I can do it! I remember my mother making quilts when I was a kid and making it look so easy. Believe me, it's not that easy!

CJ- Hope your knee gets better. Pretty hard to do anything with a bad knee. Sorry to hear about your trip to the casino. You should have won some $$$$$ ..... maybe they will so bad the next time you go in that you will win some! Wouldn't that be nice.....heck, if that really happened, I would be in all of the casinos in Las Vegas to get my money back!

Hello, i'm new to this 3fatchicks forum page. I love the support i get from reading everyones success. I need motivation from emailing friends. I'm 33 yrs.old have two boys,and been married for 11 yrs. I am 80 pounds overweight . I have been exersizing every day. I'ts kinds hard when you have a cold though. Good luck to your thread,and to alls weight loss journey. I can't wait till im at my goal weight and hopefully this summer can buy some new clothes,and a bathing suit,thats not a plus size. Now, here comes the bad news....I'm PMSing and have been eating, eating and eating some more. Here I am doing the happy dance for losing those 11 inches and 7 pounds and I think I gained most of it back in the last three days {sigh} Oh well, tomorrow is another day. Like my nutrtionist said, "don't beat yourself over one bad day. Learn from it and do better the next meal." I think I'll take his advise. Maybe it's the fact that I threw out the rest of those oreos that my husband brought home the other day. Talk about PMS dangers!
Howdy CJ- Yeah, we got a lurker to post. Hopefully the rest will post soon as well. The holidays are approaching and the "Thin Group" version of Christmas caroling won't be the same with just us two. How does your knee feel today? Better I hope.

Hi everyone - it's me again. I just got done talking to Sharon and they are on their way to Michigan for Thanksgiving. She wanted me to post and say hi to you all and to wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving. She hasn't been able to email or post cuz their computer crashed!!!!!!!! Ken is fixing it .. hopefully when they get home after Thanksgiving he can get it up and running again and she'll be back! Of course, I will be missing her again as we are still up at our cabin and won't be coming back until next week.
Sharon: maybe we will be able to connect at Christmastime or maybe after the new year - like I said, Dick and I were talking about coming out there for a couple days. We miss you guys!

Well ... I guess everyone got thin and doesn't need support anymore, eh? Well, I DIDN'T, and I DO need support! What has happened to our group??? No one seems to want to be here anymore - What has happened to all the closeness we always shared? Some of you always mention that only a few post .. sooooo you just lurk and don't post! Well, that is one reason why there is only a few posters - the rest are lurking! Has everyone just lost interest in this group? What is the problem? I really miss you guys - I feel like I lost a bunch of great friends! We had a couple new posters recently, but I don't blame them for not coming back - no one is here - no one seems to care!
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I know you are all probably feeling "ugh" I know I do. I think I'll be going to Curves all week just to feel a bit better or less guilty whatever makes me feel better!

It looks like you and I are posting at the same time! At least we are posting. I CARE TOO!!!! I guess it's up to you and me to keep this alive. I know in the past I didn't post that often because I felt like I didn't have anything to contribute and I realized that something was missing in my weight loss adventure (if I call it journey, I may never get to wherever I want to be). I realized that I'm not alone and that we are all in this together. Having the support of people who are not judgemental about my appearance and what I do does make a difference. It's not all about what you eat and exercise, it's an emotional roller coaster as well and that's the beauty of this group (when they come out of lurking). We are each other's therapy. And it's a lot cheaper than a Psychiatrist!!
Hang in there Chickie, you and I can keep this going. I know it's sad because we remember what it was like in the "good ole' days" but just remember that if we bug them enough, they will come back! :

This will be my last post from our cabin for a while .. we are closing down and heading for home. It is sooooooo cold here .. 4 degrees - and another 4 inches of snow dumped on us. I don't mind it tho -- it is very beautiful! But need to get home - have to get ready for xmas (gifts wrapped, house cleaned, tree up) my daughter and family are coming home for xmas from Kansas and hubby does not know about it .. we're keeping it a SURPRISE!
Well, have to shut down and disconnect .. am taking my computer home with me ... not good for it to set here in the cold, and believe me, this cabin gets cold when the heat is not running.
