Calling All Runners
I know there's a lot of running chat on the C25K forum, but i thought it would be good to meet some other runners that are just doing their own thing. :)
What are your running plans? How much do you run? Are you enthusiastic, or are you dragging yourself out there?! |
I have been running on and off about 3 years i guess. I built up then did a few 10km fun runs, then i did a few half marathons, then i got injured with ITB then i broke my foot, blah blah blah.
Anyway at the moment i'm enthusiasic to get back into it. My foot is mended. The ITB is simmering but hopefully manageable and i just ran my first fun run of the year this weekend - 8km, and really enjoyed it. It's so good to be back! I'm running about 3-4 times a week i'd say and at the moment my max is about 12km, so the plan is to build that up. (I'm sloooow, so i'd rather increase distance than kill myself trying to go faster!) Actually i don't really have a plan, so maybe that's something i need to get on with!! |
