Dee-My heart goes out to you! What a nightmare you are going through right now. Honey, just keep your head up high and know that everything will turn out the way it is supposed to. I am praying extra hard for your entire family in these Jewish High Holy Days.

My mom called this afternoon. Her welts are starting to fade and the dr. read her mamogram over and said everything is okay. What a scare!! Thank you everyone for your kind words and prayers. They really help.

I had a very rough day at work today. I was ready to quit this morning, but am feeling a bit better about things tonight. I had to get my thoughts off my chest to the principal in order for me to feel better. Not that it helped the situation, but it helped me deal with it better.

Gayle-Sounds like you've had your share of hard times. I am glad that things are better now.

Wow, it sure seems like everyone on the board has had a tough week so far. I pray that today will be better for us all. Shelley, I'm glad the prayers were answered for your mom!

As I write this, my air force son is on a commercial airliner traveling from Montana to San Antonio. He is to arrive at 4:30 this afternoon. Please keep him in your thoughts for a safe and secure journey.

Well, I didn't want to admit this but all the damage I did with the out of control eating has lead to a 13 pound weight gain over the summer. I got right back on my plan over the weekend and when I weighed this morning, I had lost 6 pounds. I tend to retain a lot of water and I've really flushed it out this week. I'm determined to get back to where I was and then finish to the goal!

I'll be thinking of each and everyone of you today.

Glad to see everyone is doing the best they can this week.

Things here are hectic as always. My youngest sister is needing surgery on the 24th of this month and Mom is still in rehab. Sister is needing hysterectomy, she has a tumor they are concerned about.
I have been trying to stay upbeat but starting to stress out with everyone around me falling apart.

We all need to pick a nite to chat and have some laughs.

Shelley thank you very much for remembering us in your prayers. I am glad that your mom is ok. I know that must have put you through a lot of stress. I find when I talk about my problems it helps me let of some steam and I just feel better because I could vent.

Ramona our thought are with your son at this time. It is getting close to that time that he lands so you can breath now. I too have gained weight this summer. Went back to my ww meetings. I have been since January 2001. I kept putting it off because I have tea with friends after the meeting and the day is too long for me. I get tired easily now and my priorities were with my friends. But I am going to try to do both.

Vicki your sister is in my prayers. I hope for a speedy recovery. Yes we should set a date soon and chat.

Gayle you have done so wll with your weightloss. You are not a butterball....you are a hot chick! Start believing it!

Our school had a beautiful ceremony this morning. All the kids were called to the front of the school and surrounded the flag. We all said the pledge, then the 5th graders sang a couple of America songs. It was so heartwarming (I got very teary eyed!!)

Ramona-I hope your son made it back okay. My brother is also flying today to Tampa from Las Vegas. I don't know what time he is supposed to arrive there. I'm sure if anything happened, I would have heard. I remember 1 year ago today my husband was on an airplane going to see his brother in Arizona and I was so scared!

Do any of you download music to listen while on the computer? I downloaded a bunch of 60's songs. Right now I'm listening to Na Na Hey Hey. I also recorded them onto a CD for jogging.

I got a new car!!! Well it's not new...but new to me!! Dad bought it yesterday and it was sitting in my driveway when I got home from work.It's a '94 Ford Tarus.It's baby blue & in PERFECT condition!!
