OK Dee, I'll tell you the exciting thing. Now, keep in mind this is exciting for me but may not mean much to you guys.
We have someone who is interested in buying our business. I have prayed all weekend that he will come back today and talk to us some more. I would have to stay and work for 1 month to teach him how to do things. Then I would get to stay home until after Christmas. From 70 hours a week to staying home......hummmmmm......I think I could handle that!! LOL
I would have to get a job after the first of the year, but that would be fine. Just a nice 9-5 job where someone else owns the business and has to deal with the headaches!
Anyway, like I said, it is exciting for me!

Dee, I hope things go better with your son and you can find some peace.

Gayle, we had a mass murderer here a few years ago who killed his family and some others. There is a book written about it called "Zero to the Bone". Just get ready for the media blitz, it will be wild!!!!!!

Sherry, girl I'm glad you let the dust gather. It makes me feel better about my messy house!!! LOLOLOL

Ramona that is wonderful. When you own your own business it owns you. It is never just a straight 40 hour week. Let us know if you sell it. I really hope you do if that is what you would lke. Down time around christmas, perfect. You will be able to relax and do things at your own pace for awhile. Good luck.

Hi girls

I guess you all has wondered what is going on with me. I have no good excuse for not posting except for the same old fact of "being fat and depressed".
Well, once again I have decided to do something about all this extra weight. I'm tired all the time and have no energy to even hardly get through the day. And why would anyone keep going on that way, when deep down I know what needs to be done. "SO I'M BACK ON PLAN AGAIN" { Wish I had a nickel for everytime I've started over...LOL} But who knows...this could be the time that I find the power to see this thing all the way. Going to give it my best shot!!!
Thank you all for being there for me, even in the bad times. Going to try and be a better "FLOOZIE" from now on.

Howdy!

Debbie--i'm doing a low glycemic index type of thing and it's pretty easy and quite interesting. I bought the book at barnes and nobles. They have several--Opry Mills
It is working quite well for me---dh finally said friday afternoon-"are you losing weight?"

I'm having to eat some soft foods right now---went to the dentist to repair some cracks on fillings and now i have a severely broken tooth and got a temp crown on today ---Dentist says i HAVE TO QUIT CLENCHING AND GRINDING MY TEETH!!

This totally sucks but oh well-----gotta lay off the crunchy salads for a while!!---debyj

Howdy

I didn't work today.Drew & I went to the Dr. We both have ear infections.Drew's busted yesterday.He layed down to take a nap because he felt so bad, when he woke up he had blood all over his pillow.We are both on Augmentin & Duratuss.Also, I have to keep track of my blood pressure AGAIN.It was high today.150/100.I have to check it three times a day & write it down.I've been on Zestril 40 mg. per day for over a year!! I just don't understand it!!

Monday weigh-in: 175.......It stayed the same from last week. I started getting very serious about my food choices on 7-29-02.....My beginning weight on that day was 183. I haven't lost much...but atleast I haven't gained!

Debyj^^^^^I've been meaning to tell you something: My Son (the one at MTSU college) works all the concerts at AmSouth.He is a security guard.He said that the Lenny Kravitz was WILD!!! He broke up about 15 fights!!! He's working the "Buzz Fest" this Sat. from 10:00am 'til 12:00pm. Are you going to that?

Hey Sherry!!

Keep an eye on that blood pressure girl!! Sorry, it's the healthcare in me! I took norvasc for a while and it didn't do a thing, then my doc changed me to diovan and it works like a charm. Everyone is different.

Yeah, the lenny kravitz concert was great, but it was WILD!! AND IT WAS THE FIRST CONCERT i've been to since i QUIT DRINKING!! People were seriously getting on my nerves!! There were a lot of kids there!

All of my family fights high blood pressure, I am just the opposite, sometimes they can hardly find a pulse!!!! It makes me tired and cold all of the time!!!! Deb: Try not to get discouraged!! This whole dieting thing is the shits!!!!!! Sometimes I wonder why it is so important to me to be thin, but I guess not important enough, I keep tossing the same 10-15 pounds back and forth. I hope you know that you can ALWAYS post here!!!!

Ramona: Good luck on selling the business!!!! We were self employed for years and found out that we had no life outside of the business!!!!!
