  • Today I walked 6.5 miles.

  • Deelite: Are you walking on a treadmill or outside, and do you walk all that distance in one clean sweep? My husband is in the hospital, and I know I should be walking too, but can't muster up the "wherewithall" to put one foot in front of the other (even tho I have a wonderful treadmill in the basement. I know the "motivation is in the doing" - BUT can't take the first step. Help me out here...

  • Saturday-Couldn't jog because of tummy problems, but did 30 min. of weight lifting.

  • Kermie I usually do 2 walks a day. Always outdoors because I love it. Try to walk just for commercials when you watch one of your favorite shows. It doesn't seem so bad then.

    Shelley is there anything that you can take for you tummy problems. That sure makes things difficult.

  • Hey guys well I guess it's more than a week...but back I am.

    I'm not doing the miles I used to so I want to be conservative for this month. My goal will be walking 40 miles for Sept.

    are we combining walking and biking??

    Mon Sept. 2 -- 1 mi
    Tuesday 9/3 - biked 5
    Wed. 9/4 - hiked 4
    Thursday - 4 mi
    Friday -- nada
    Sat 9/7 -- 6.5 mi
    Sun -- biked 12 mi
    Mon - nada
    Tues 9/10 - biked 4 mi (intense stationary)

    total walked -- 20.5
    total biked -- 21 miles

    guys thanks for remembering me. You all are doing awesome!
