Today I'm off to find fall paper plates and napkins plus finish my grocery shopping. No one evidently ordered fall paper products and I have one place left to go.
Otherwise, it's going to be "white" for card club. I have another meeting at church late this afternoon. I hope it's the last one and all of the vacancies are filled.Maggie -- Thank you for sharing the recipe. I have to agree that chocolate and pumpkin would be a questionable combination.
You try it and let us know how you like it.
I did find the blocked senders part of my email and there were no addresses there. I may end up making a phone call which is ok.Susan -- I hope the storm has let up by now. Just the pictures on TV look scary, but to have trees falling across roadways would make anyone nervous.
Do you have a garage for your car? I know that where Bob's parents lived in AZ, everyone had carports instead of garages. I hope you don't have to move your car, but better to be safe than sorry.
I did check my address book and the email address is there."Gma" -- I can just see Thomas studying the stock market! I wonder if his high school requires an economics class to graduate. Our econ teacher is an idiot (softball coach first and teacher second); he has dumbed down the class so much so that everyone passes just by showing up for class.
I love the bright colors in the yarn! It would be interesting to see how they hand paint yarn -- I have a mental picture of the seven dwarfs lined up at the table with tiny paint brushes.
Did any of you see the lady whose chimp chewed her hands off and ripped her face apart? I didn't look when Oprah took the veil off. I can't imagine what that must have been like.
I need to comb my hair, do my makeup, and I'm off! Have a terrific Thursday!

I know some of the snow birds have left, but out of 313 giving units, only 114 submitted pledges. Sad! The highlight of the dinner was that afterwards we were visiting with a couple we don't see very often when a nice looking lady came up to Bob and said, "I'm sure you don't remember me, but I'm Nancy and we knew each other years ago!" She and her husband moved to town the same time we did and we were in Welcome Wagon together. They have a daughter Jason's age but left after a couple years so he could go back to grad school; we eventually lost touch when they divorced. We had the nicest visit and she is living here now -- in charge of catering at the college. It's a small world.

Not too much cake and ice cream Kelly! lol
I have some last minute things to do for card club tonight -- mainly my bathroom and vacuum. Bob offered to mop the *(&^%$ floor at noon when he comes home. What a guy!
I have got to get like items together in one place! I won't have to wrap much this year, but I do like to wrap and especially if it fits in a box or gift bag!

Isn't that the way of it with the old china. The younsters don't want what granny had. We were just given boxes of things that no one wanted when granny died. A beautiful lamp and lots of books that are first editions and some cut crystal ware. Beautiful things that I am happy to get for I gave so much away when we downsized.
