i hope it gets cheaper on maint.!! i canr afford this much longer, and im almost there, im at 194lbs on there scale, 190 on mine and my goal is 180-175 so i have only got another 10-15 to go..ish lol so i guess i should start looking into the $$, to b honest i think i have learned what i needed to on this plan and once i have lost the weight i might just leave and do it solo instead of buying the pills, im also looking at updating my education and becoming a holistic nutrionalist to round out my massage therapy practice, because although iv struggled with my weight i am a very health concoius person and i think it might be a good fit..will see if the finances agree with my new revolation tho lol

Great to hear that you're close to your goal! You'll have to let us know what the difference in cost is when you find out. I know at my clinic they said it would be cheaper, which would kind of act like an added incentive to lose the weight faster. Just can't remember if that was for the stabilization or maintenance or both... and I can't remember how much cheaper they said?? Not very helpful haha.
Have a great time with the education update. I'm also thinking of going back for my Masters in Education (resource) but need a schedule that allows me to take night classes instead of teach them!! Hmmm. ... massage. Maybe I ought to go get one of those for my 15lb reward when I get there! |
I hate TOM!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean seriously! I REFUSE to go to HM today. I have to go tomorrow and already called them to let them know but today is Day 1 ... and Day 1 is a terrible day for me! The scale is very mean, I am nauseous, achey, bloated, have terrible contraction-like cramps and will burst into tears if anyone even looks at me funny.. It sucks that even when I've been totally on task with the program the scale is still this mean :( Once I get past today at least I know it will be down but it is always discouraging to see a rise in numbers... especially when you don't deserve it!
There was talk of a 1 week challenge... should we set some ground rules like posting your menu each day or something? Effective tomorrow? Lady... this was your suggestion... someone else was on board but I don't feel like searching back to remember who... I think it was you Michele non? So I will post my food (every morsel that goes in my mouth) starting tomorrow. Lucky you!!!!! *yawn* BTW... a massage sounds like a great 15 lb loss reward! |
A challenge sounds great! I'm okay with posting all of my food for the day. I can pretty well do it right now haha. i'm a little too routine and boring sometimes!
Haven't really noticed how TOM effects my wieght yet... just my mood (and that's bad enough). I try to stay away from the scale those days, otherwise I can already see myself wanting to throw my scale out the window... and smashing it in order to do so haha. Good luck when you do make it to weigh in Meme! I head in tomorrow to see how these portion decreases and increased exercise paid off! |
Who knows... perhaps this challenge will make for some new foods for me to try! Seasonal fruits and veggies here I come!!!!!!!!! :) My biggest issue is protein.. I am getting bored with the usual.
I hope tomorrow brings good news for me... if not, I shall persevere and will see positive results shortly. |
i was just thinking about the price drop for maintence while eating dinner lol..i belive the reason it gets cheaper is becuz you are slowly cutting back on pills, so the bottles last longer, therefore its cheaper. im pretty sure thats how they explained it when i started, but again i'll double check! so are we posting daily food as of now? if so here it goes...
Breakfast: 2 eggs 2 slices of diet toast =1 protein, 1 starch Lunch: 1 100 cal pkg of rice cakes 1 cup coffee with 1 sweatner and milk = 1 free exchange, 1 dairy Dinner 3 cups salad 4oz Chicken breast 2 tbsp dressing =3 veggie, 1 protein, 2 fat i guess that leaves me with 2 fruit and 1 dairy to get in before the nights out..how did everyone else do today? |

I'll post todays food just so that you aren't the only one:
1/4 c rolled oats 1 tsp crushed flax seed (1 starch) 1 c berries (1 fruit) 1/4 c yogurt (part dairy) 1/2 oz almonds (sliced) 1/2 c whole wheat pasta (1 starch) Homemade sauce: 1/4 c red peppers, 1 lg tomato (diced), 1/2 c mushrooms, 1/2 tsp oil for sauteeing garlic (2 veggie + 1/2 fat) 1/4 oz cheese (part dairy) 2 hard boiled eggs (1 protein) 1 cup coffee + 2 Tbsp milk (part dairy) 2 clementines (1 fruit) 4 1/2 oz chicken breast (1 protein) 1/2 tsp olive oil (1/2 fat) 1 c broccolli (1 veggie) My dairy gets a little tricky as I split it up... but overall not a bad day at all. |
today I had a pb bar.. (go figure...haha) and vits including l-glute & shark cart.
We should start this challenge on Sunday or Monday? Y'all decide.. groundrules..follow the program and report everyday how you did! |

Way to go Meme, that is a huge number of inches! I don't have my book with me at the moment but I will start posting on Sunday or Monday... busy weekend in the works. Made time to stop in and am down 3 pounds and 2.5 inches. Yay! Not sure if it;s due to the smaller portions or going to the gym a bit... guess we'll see how this week goes. Right now I gotta go eat! Only some carrots and a pro bar so far today.. yikes!
Bride: That makes sense about the cost and use of pills... forgot to ask at the clinic as maintenance is still a ways away for me! Keough: Great work ont he 70 lbs! Stay strong fot the last 15, I'm sure they'll come off sometime when you're least expecting it! |
so about this challenge lol.. i say lets start monday, its gunna be hard for me as my friend and i are treating oursleves to a spa day! which means we will be eating out, and im not packing a lunch for the spa!! hahaha but spa food is usually pretty light so im sure i can find something that will work!
ps tonight i want chicken wings...sooo bad, but sooo good, ive been good all week and i know i should say no...i will say NO! ...............................................i think lol |

Hi there everyone!! Just checkin' in.
I'm in for the challenge too! What is it about?? lol Congrats Meme & Michele for your weightloss!! That's pretty awesome. ;) I'm having a tough week it seems... At my WI on Weds, I was down 0.4. I've been having real sharp pains in my stomach (or at least that's where I think it is!), burping those pills A LOT (never happened before)... I also started some issues with my bowels... GREAT! I didn't go in Friday night cause we were out... All this to say, that I stopped my pills today. I woke up in the middle of the night last night with sharp pains. I had enough. No pain today...like NONE and my bowels are MOVING! yeah... I'll see if I don't get them again...then I'll know it's one of those 2 pills. I'll start one again and see if I'm good...and then I'll add the other and I'll know which one is causing me ISSUES. The Center might not like this...but honestly, I want to sleep and feel well :( Yes, I am afraid that it will affect my Weightloss...but I've also seen people lose A LOT without the pills. I guess I'll see for a while. I weighed myself after lunch...still weighing the same thing that I was on Weds... I don't want to start panicking...they're tellng me that I'm doing great, my menu is awesome, I'm adding a lot of variety in my food... It's just ****ty to feel like this after I had 2 AWESOME weeks. I'll let my system get back on track and we shall see :) Chantal |
