I know you're not looking for answers so I won't try to explain it. I know what you mean though. You can do everything right and see nothing at all.... or do everything wrong and find yourself 3lbs lighter.

Have you tried making quiche? I made a quiche on sunday and have been eating it for breakfast this week, it has been phenomenal at keeping me full through most of the morning. The trick is finding a lower-fat one that tastes good.

Run run run!

I am going to do a radical thing myself here this afternoon......... I am going to run. I'm gonna do it. I'm not kidding around this time. No matter how hard it sucks, I am going to run. I promise.

Been OP this whole week! Now to tackle the dreaded weekend and we'll see if I can make it TWO weeks! Not expecting much on the scale tomorrow due to TOM but we'll see.

What I know for sure is that you can't do everything wrong and get away with it for very long . I've road-tested that theory for YEARS.

Congrats on your OP week! Whoo hoo! And don't you have fancy new running shoes? They'll love you for putting some mileage on them!

Mine are almost all at the front too - hate it!

Queen of that here. How was the run?

Yeah just venting here, I know it's a process. A big PITA annoying process

Oh no! I haven't gone off the deep end just haven't had time to make it to the gym. No plans to stop exercising either. I have to look hot for Manick in April :D

So I have now revised my craving to TVP fauxloaf with mashed potatoes, green beans, and corn tonight. I do not know why I'm having so many hokey dinner cravings lately.

pintobean 02-20-2009 05:40 PM

Jaime, run!! I just finished running/walking on treadmill. And I haven't had quiche except for those mini frozen ones. Thanks for the idea...it's definitely something I can try.

Heather, I had PBJ sandwich cravings this week and guess what I've been eating for lunches all week. PBJ sandwich. It's weird.

zinkemomx2 02-20-2009 07:06 PM

I've tried the chocolate Silk in my coffee. It was okay but not what I'm looking for. The coffee with coffee mate SF vanilla Caramel is okay. At least it is only 30 calories instead of 140.

Food is great so far today. I have 600 calories left for dinner. I think I'm just going to grab a salad and a Lean Cuisine tonight. A piece of fruit for dinner.

I've started the 100 push up challenge again.

suitejudyblueeyes 02-21-2009 08:55 AM

Finally, finally had a good scale day - lost 1.4 at my WI this morning. Now let's keep that up, hmm? Get out of these stinking 180's?

I do have spiffy new running shoes, and I have maybe worn them once so far. They don't deserve such poor treatment. I'm going to go put them on... :D

Fat Chick B Gone 02-21-2009 08:56 AM

Today's plan
breakfast - coffee, toast with EB and hot sauce
Lunch - the grapefruit, soba noodles, veggies, PB sauce dish
Dinner - pizza and beer!

Mrs Snark 02-21-2009 08:58 AM

I would like to order Heather's lunch and dinner, please.

Is toast with earth balance and hot sauce good? I must admit I've never tried that combination. I've never put any sort of hot sauce on my toast before, what have I been doing with my time?

Fat Chick B Gone 02-21-2009 09:07 AM

OMG where have you been? Hot sauce on toast is awesome. For me it does require a little buttah also. I guess it's sorta like a wing sauce on toast? You may not want to listen to me though, I also like A-1 and bbq sauce on toast. I literally made A-1 sandwiches to take to school when I was in like 4th grade. See parents, this is why you should pack your kids' lunches.

Good job Jaime!!

zinkemomx2 02-21-2009 09:15 AM

You go J!

I did my push-ups. Pitiful I tell you. I WILL stick with it this time.

B-Veggie omelet
L-red beans & rice
D-something with the mustard greens I bought yesterday. I've never had them before. Any ideas?

Fat Chick B Gone 02-21-2009 11:57 AM

Zinke - I made this last weekend, omg so good. You could really do anytype of sauce with the broiled tofu. I really liked the texture broiling gave it and the steamed greens were a nice compliment. I ate some of my greens just thrown into a salad. I imagine they'd be good in stir frys also.

suitejudyblueeyes 02-21-2009 02:56 PM

Even though I have yet to have tofu I am passionate about, I have been craving it the past couple days. I will take this opportunity to try that recipe - mango and greens and broiled tofu sounds delish! I'm going to sit down and plan the week today so I can grocery shop tomorrow.

Run was short this morning, but it was cold and I am out of shape. I am glad I went though. I sure do miss being out there. Came back in and did a short yoga vid to get a little more activity under my belt for today. Of course, this resulted in me being super hungry at 10:30am so I ate the last of my leftover lentils... Now lunch is overdue so I have to go scrounge for something.

Today's plan:

E: run and yoga! woo!
B: oatmeal, walnuts, cranberries
L: leftover moroccan lentils
D: cheese tortellini and veg
D: soup, toast

suitejudyblueeyes 02-22-2009 05:05 PM

All's quiet on the western front, apparently.

Just checking in. I am celebrating my first 100% OP weekend in... I can't even remember how long. Of course, I still have 6 or so hours before bed so in theory that could change, but it won't. Went grocery shopping, finished the book I was reading, cooked, cleaned, went for a walk. More homemade pizza for dinner unless I feel like cooking again, but dangit my kitchen is clean now and I'm hesitant to mess it up directly. We'll see.

G-store did not have mustard greens for some unknown reason, so I bought collards to go with the recipe H posted (broiled tofu). Will make this week.

Today's plan/happenings:
B: tortellini primavera (easy, leftovers, weird breakfast I guess)
S: yogurt
L: goat cheese, portabella, and arugula pizza on delicious homemade crust
D: potentially the same thing, if not, polenta with tomato sauce

E: 40 min walk

kittycat40 02-22-2009 10:10 PM

Hey chicks!

I did go on that run and it did get done! Go go go.
Running absolves so many calorie blunders but not enough for the amounts I am eating.

Whatever happened to the OP challenge? I could use some specific support like that right now.

I would need to check in am, mid am, pm, and later pm. That's the way things are going.

Anyone?

Fat Chick B Gone 02-23-2009 05:44 AM

Morning girls. I spent the majority of yesterday nursing my self-inflicted pain away with bad tv and movies, pizza and about 10 gallons of water. Today I'm a bloated monster and it ain't pretty.

breakfast - coffee and a banana
lunch- noodles
dinner - we'll see, keeping cals low today to make up a bit for Saturday's drink calories.
