new poster here! 5'2 at 129 lbs. I'm glad to find a thread for us shorties. I'm tired of getting weird looks from people when i mention my weight and the need to get down to 110 lbs. People think I'm crazy and don't realize that my frame is much smaller than the average person. someone like myself can't be thin and lean at 130 lbs. My goal weight is not the equivalent of annorexic dreaming. </vent> just had to get that out of my system.

I feel you klementine! If people hear me say "Oh, I'm 115 pounds..." they are like you are too skinny! Don't lose more weight, but you know... if that wasn't discussed and someone had to guess honestly, I know they would say a number higher because it looks FAT on ME. I was 100 pounds in college and I looked and felt so different. I don't think it's a stretch or being aneroxic for a 60 inch girl to be between 100-110 pounds..

About the challenge, Can we please please start on Thursday the 18th. It would be much better to me and then it can be a thursday-thursday week.

I'm pretty flexible. It doesn't matter to me when we really start it.

Food tracking (whichever way we prefer?) and I guess some form of exercise everyday? I think that's what it was. I'm a little slow today too. My brain is just bursting with things that I have on my mind.

Didn't eat well today either or do the sit ups and my tummy is too full of ice cream to do it now . Damn PMS. But I'm on my feet all day at work so that has to count for something, right? Getting up and doing Jillian's BFBM dvd in the AM though!

Arg, I couldn't get myself to get up this morning to do the Jillian vid. And I haven't been on top of my eating in the respect that I haven't eaten enough or eaten the right foods due to PMS. My life is still a little upside down mostly due to a 7 day stretch at work so I'm having a hard time refocusing. I need to take the time and do what I need to do so I can make all this worth it again in my minds eye. Until then I'm kinda hopeless haha

i am SO upset right now! I just got on the scale.... 117 pounds.... which means I've gained over 5 pounds in just two short months!!! I had been maintaining a much lower weight this ENTIRE year, and now that it's the start of bikini/beach season.... im at the heaviest i've been this whole year??? It doesn't make sense... I mean it does because I let myself go... but how and why did I let myself go... there is no way I will go back over 117 pounds... I am rejoining FITDAY.com RIGHT NOW and I'm determined to do some physical exercise today.... ugh... I've cried and I think I'm ready to cry again. I hate my body!

So I rejoined, I'm trying to log the food best I can, I resisted the urge of having a soda and a piece of chocolate which is a huge accomplishment for me right now, since i started to pig out and become dependent on both lately.. i hope i can make it through the day without a soda or a lot of sweets... now I just have to get in some exercise.

Aw mermaid, I'm sorry you're feeling so sad. Do what you can as you. Sometimes the little steps mean more than anything huge. So for now just try to make it without the soda or the chocolate, just not both at the same time. Then you can pull the other one out. As for the exercise, just throw in something, even if you're just dancing around your room to the music on your Itunes.

Just don't be so hard on yourself and look at what you can learn from the situation. It's during these times when we grow and evolve the most. I've got a great quote I heard Jillian say on her radio show a year or two back when she was talking about failure. She said: "We don’t learn anything when we win. We learn everything when we fail or when we’re losing, or when we’re experiencing a loss." So just look at it as a constant learning experience and re-evaluate things on what can be done in the moment and really try not to get stuck in your past mistakes because looking forward and making changes now is what's going to count. Good luck!
