I hope everyone is having a great week. I am leaving work early today to go pick up my little people. They were begging to come home last night.... so I am going to meet my SIL halfway and bring them home.

This weekend is my company's summer event... the girls will be happy that they get to go. Sunday is Father's Day. I am not sure what I am going to get for Alan, but I am sure the girls and I will try to figure something out.

Noelle.... Alan and I are throwing around the idea of moving to Hawaii. Crazy right? :-) He is going to start looking for jobs. If he can find a job that will relocate us... then we are there! :-) We'll see. I am not sure how serious he will be looking... but we are talking about it!

We'll be leaving for vacation in 2 weeks. We're going to be flying to Boston then driving up to New Brunswick; we'll be visiting there as well as Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Quebec City, Montreal, and more of New England. I'm looking forward to seeing green for awhile.

Hello everyone, We're still in PA. right now. We got here on the night of the 6th. We are planning on heading back to MO. on Monday and have Father's Day with my Dad next Sunday. So far it has been a pretty good trip except for the broken spring shackle on the 5th wheel! We had to get that fixed after hitting a BIG pot hole! But thank goodness the guy was able to get us right in and get it fixed.

We won't be back home until after July 1st. At this point we are still planning on going to our family reunion in Enid, Oklahoma on the 28th and 29th of June. That should be a stop on the way back to Colorado.

I hope everyone is doing good. Cherie--- looking forward to seeing pictures. WOW! Moving to Hawaii-- that sounds like it would be so nice.

Noelle,---- Hope things are going good for you. Haven't heard from you in awhile.

Well, we are getting ready to run to the store. Planning on a cookout (if it doesn't rain) tomorrow for Father's Day.

Hey everyone~! I hope you guys had a nice Father's Day with your spouse and or dad!

We had a really nice one.... the girls and I got Alan an ice cream maker. Too bad we didn't get it on Saturday (I was busy with my company's summer event and he was away with his son at a car thing)... so once we got it yesterday, we realized that it had to be placed in the freezer for over 6 hours to totally freeze. So.. no homemade ice cream for us.... we did go over to his dad's place (however his dad and step mom are in North Dakota working) and took advantage of their swimming pool. One of Alan's sons came over.. the other said he had things he needed to do... whatever... He said he may try to get together with us next weekend.

Anyway... we swam, bbqed burgers and had a really nice time.

Today... back to work. Youngest son is staying with us til Thursday.... I need to get more comfortable with him around. I wish we had a bigger house. Right now, he has to sleep on the sofa in the living room.... and my house is a total wreck.. has been for a few months now... so I just feel so cramped!

No more plans have been discussed for Hawaii.... right now.. we just have to take things one step at a time. Selling his house is the first. We thought we had some one who was interested back around the wedding and then last week, but we still haven't heard anything. We lowered the price a little... so hopefully someone will bite soon. Alan has submitted his resume to several online job places, and a few head hunters have given him a call.... We will see if anything comes out of it. I am not looking into us moving for at least a couple of years... but I could be surprised. And that move could be anywhere... here, Colorado, Hawaii.... who knows. :-)

Well.. I am back at work again... I finally got a day to sleep in yesterday and it was so nice. I am looking forward to this next weekend! Nothing planned... and we can relax!!!

We are finally getting a taste of what the central states are getting... talk about some RAIN this morning. My neighborhood was flooded, there were stalled cars everywhere on the interstate this morning.... wow.. just a lot of rain this morning!

My step son is staying the week with us. I hate to say it, but I don't think I said anything to him last night other than hi. I came home, and immediately started on laundry. I haven't been able to do laundry since before the wedding. Then we had to go to the store to get groceries.... came home.. dealt with a problem with Hannah and then started dinner. SS didn't eat dinner with us... instead... he went to sleep on the couch.. and that was the last I heard of him. Guess he stayed up all night the night before playing on Alan's xbox 360. I am not sure how to handle the new family dynamics... so for now, I am letting it be.

Nothing exciting is happening right now.... and that is GREAT! I am looking forward for this weekend to be able to relax a little more. I am hoping to be caught up on laundry by then.... (good luck with that....)

OK.. it's official.. I have a new last name! I spent the day yesterday at the social security office, at the DMV and at the tag agency getting my name changed. I then visited my two banks and got all of that changed as well!

We took the girls to see Prince Caspian last night... and it was a very good movie! I really enjoyed it, as much as the first one.. maybe more.

I am still not very motivated to get back to exercising... hopefully soon!

TGIF everyone! I am SOOOOOO happy it's Friday. This has been a very long work week. Not much is going on this weekend, which is GREAT!.... tomorrow.. we are finally going to go over to our friend's house and pick up/clean up the stuff from the wedding... and Sunday, we are going back to Alan's dad's house to swim and have a BBQ. Tonight... we are meeting with some friends to have dinner.. and tomorrow MORNING... I am SLEEPING IN!!!!

Last night we watched a good movie.... P.S. I Love You. Hillary Swank... and Harry Connick Jr. (which is why I watched it, but he played a dweeb... ) and Kathy Bates.. and some other nice looking men! :-) Nice sitting at home movie. We also made blackened Ahi Tuna fish tacos.. and I tried my hand at a mango-habanero aioli sauce... it turned out OK.. but I need to try again, I had a little to much cilantro and red onion and not enough mango habanero taste.

My jeans are getting tight on me again... so I am going to have to buckle down and start doing something about it. So... I am going to try to get my laundry sorted and done, and my house picked up this weekend.. and try to start on the ellipitical again on Monday.

OK.. back to work here.... have a great weekend everyone. I'm thinking about you guys.

I had a great weekend with the family... went out to dinner with some friends on Friday, and spent yesterday at the pool BBQing... it was over too soon!

Hope you guys are having a great summer! I am starting to consider getting back on the diet wagon... but not quite there yet.

Good Morning! I thought that I would take a few minutes this morning to let you know that I'm still around! We are in MO. right now and will probably leaave here on Friday to go to Enid, Oklahoma for the family reuinon. Then be home on Monday.

Like you Cherie, We had a cook out yesterday with family at my brothers. Here are some pics. The first one is my Dad and me, then the next is my Aunt, my brother Mark, My brother David, My Dad, me, Tim and my cousin Becky. The next one is Sissy and me, then Ginger and me, and the last is just me.

I still keep bouncing back and forth between 153 and 156 But I know I need to get back to exercise! I did sign up for Gary's 3FC- 5K for the july 4th again so I will do that and get back on track!

I haven't heard from Noelle in awhile.. Sure hope all is going well for her. I worry when I don't hear from people after awhile.

Still no news on our house but I've found several here that I would like to make offers on if we had something going on ours. Bummer!!

Hi everone! WOW! Cal---109 as a cool down! Of course it is supposed to get to 91 here today--- back in Colorado it is supposed to get up to 76!

I am really going to miss my brothers pool when we go back to Colorado and the rest of the family too ;) My Dad likes to go out to lunch everyday so it has been a challenge for me but I'm still staying between 153 & 156. I think for the last 7 days of this trip I'm just not going to worry about it so much (not go overboard either) but just enjoy the rest of the trip. Still have the reunion to get through!

Oh this picture is me holding a baby skunk! This was at Cheney Reservoir in Cheney Kansas our first night out on the trip. She had four baby skunks that she was raising since the mama got ran off. They had just opened their eyes the day before. Of course, I couldn't resist holding one!!!

Karen: We are flying to Boston on Sunday, then we are driving up through Maine to New Brunswick. We're going to spend about 3-4 days there just seeing the Province as well as Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. After that, we are going to spend 3-4 days in Quebec (my husband is looking forward to being able to speak French again), then back to New England for 3-4 days before we fly back home the second week of July.
I already spoke with Angie and we might be able to meet up for a short visit; we'll have to wait and see.
