i had my daughter in march 2003 and it took me most of hubby's 22 month deployment to lose most of the weight...finally got back to my prebaby/got married weight when he returned home in 2005 and i got preg with our son (now almost turning 2 and our daughter will be 5 next weekend)....and i still have weight to lose from having him april 2006....so if i can lose about 15 lbs i will have lose all that baby weight from both kids..luckily we're done having kids so this is a more perm. change;) lol and hubby just got me a used treadmill and i already bought a used body by jake bun/thigh sculptor so am doing that 5 time/week to get rid of the weight......although i did get the flu last month and lost 15 lbs ;) so that was half my weight lose goal :) LOL so 15 more to go...
good luck girls!

Hey Armywife!! My brother was stationed at forthood for a few years! They got reassigned to Hawaii, and three months latter he left for Iraq for a 15 month deployment, but they are telling him that they maybe coming hom early!! YAY!! They still get credit for all 15 months, but now it looks like it may only be 11 months! I live in TX to, but I'm in the northeast corner in Longview. It's about 6 hours away. We used to drive down and see my brother and his wife and their baby girl once a month. We've only gotten to go to Hawaii and visit once, ooooh man am I ready to go back!

So how is everyone doing today????

I havn't eaten very well...that seems to be my biggest problem. I'm one of those moms that snacks with the toddler. We shared a lunchable for lunch. and I had another diet coke for breakfast. I just got a letter from DH and he's down to 198...he was 258 in the middle of January when he first signed up with the Marines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about motivation...it I don't ATLEAST lose 15 pounds for him it will be a crying shame! I'm abou tto do a taebo video untill Braelynn wakes up from a nap, then we've got erands to run, then back to the gym for weights and a spining class!!

Yes, I do work at a gym! I also live 1/2 mile away from work....it is such a blessing! All the more reason that I should be ashamed of myself to not losing more weight faster!!! I help run the nursery at the gym. We have a 8-1 morning shift and a 4-8 evening shift. I work M-Sat mornings, and some sunday afternoons, so it is a little frustrating that I can't workout whenever I want, but I have plently of opportunities to get extra workouts in. It's too easy to make up excuses on why not to excersize, so I'm not even going to start!

I am up a pound and feel bloated or something because my pants feel to tight for just a pound!

I am an impluse eater, something looks good I eat it then regret. I think I had too many drinks on the weekend which probably attributed to the weight gain.

Oh well, keep going...

I'm down a pound, but I don't know why. I lifted too heavy on wednesday and I strained my left bicept. I've done real low impact cardio that didn't use my arm at all everyday since then, and I didn't even break a sweat! Just goes to show you don't have to work your self so hard to lose weight.

Okay I am going to get on track! I have a beautiful baby girl of 4 months and need to lose 15 pounds to get back to pre preggo. No exercise has been in site since that day before delivery so I am going to start tonight with some walking.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The roof cracked at my gym!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so, not only can I not workout...I can't WORK!!!! AUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so frustrated. I'm on a huge house cleaning and organizing kick, and because of the stress abou the gym I've had no appetite. But I need to workout....=(

Hi gals,
I have four little boys:
6, twin 4s and my baby is 23 months today!!

I lost all baby weight w/in the first 6mo (1st preg), first 10-11 months (twins) and now.... well. I'm very determined to get my body back. This is my first month of true commitment and determination. My goal is to stick with it!!

Trendy, the news about your gym, both work out venue and employment site really sucks!! Sometimes it feels like the odds are so against all good efforts.

ANyway, just wanted to say hi. BTW, what I'm doing is calorie counting. And trying to stay away from white foods. I am definitely one of those snack with your children moms, so things can get pretty challenging. Since my new found determination-- the temptation is not sooo great (usually). Sometimes though I am so hungry when I am giving the kids dinner I eat/pick and use up quite a large chunk of calories. But owning up to it on the daily plate calorie counting site really helps keep me in check.

hang tough and kiss the little muffins for me!
