Kel I'll be Nanny I think. At 35 I feel to young to be a grandma lol but sometimes I say grandma. See, My eldest nan growing up was Nana and mt youngest was Nan or Nanny. I think Nana sounds OLDER than grandma lol. She's gone home to sleep now (hopefully) So I am going off to bed myself in a minute. Supposed to work in the morning but I will give her a ring and if her pains are worse I will take day off or only work the minimum 3 hours. So will be done by 11 (12 at the latest).

I'll be sure to keep all posted. And to post pics when bubby is born

Vonni

PS - Kel the whole day care thing isnt as scary as it seems. You will get used to it and so will Jemima. And if heaven forbid something SHOULD happen, you will already BE in town so its a matter of getting to wherever they may take her if she falls ill or something. You will find she LOVES it after she gets used ot it and you will also enjoy the 'adult' conversation back in the workforce.

Lindor we were posting at same time. 12 months sounds good. Lets throw in some dates and figure it. Hey, did you know that at Harvey Norman you can LAYBY your holiday? The only thing up front is the flight cost and these days thats not to bad.

I reckon we figure who is the furtherest South and who is furtherest North and maybe pick a middle spot and good luck to the in betweens, lol or even say bugger it and go UP. where we all prob have to tracel the same distance. Go to where is dot com and see whats up same distance. You may as well say I am in Brisbane (an hour and half inland) so theres my northern. Julia you'd prob have a distance, but yr airfare prob cheaper lol. International usually is as you would already know.

LMAO I just went and looked. Central Northern Territory is central. I think Bris is furtherest and Ani near Perth is firtherest. The two meet halfway then go UP halfway and it lands about Tennant Creek. HAHAHAHAHAHA thats funny.

Well ladies here's my confession ... I actually work for Air New Zealand, so if you decide to meet up in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide or Perth it would actually be really easy for me to come and join the party!

I had dinner at my friends place last night, she cooked me wiener schnitzel with steamed veggies and mashed potatoes. Oh my goodness, it was sooo goood Mashed potatoes are up there as one of my absolute favourite foods but I hardly ever have any so that was a real treat.

I enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine and was sitting at 21 points for the day when I went home. The nibbles got the better of me and I had an ice block (1 point) and 6 weight watchers cookies (3 points) before bed and that put me 5 points over for the day. Not ideal but hey, it's done now and there's no point beating myself up for it.

Plan for the weekend: Stick to my points. Being the weekend, I really need to make an extra effort to stick to my usual meal/snack times and to write everything down in my food diary.

Have a great weekend everyone.

With the need to consider Julia and Gen in this meeting, I think Melbourne sounds like the most appropriate place so far?

Lets consider the fact that if Gen is going to plan a trip back home she'll more than likely want to catch up with family and friends too? Correct me if I am wrong Gen!

And I gotta say Vonni...Tennent Creek really does not appeal to me!!!

And anything January to mid-March would fit in beautifully with me

January to March is good for me too - I'll be able to get holidays by then, and I'll add my vote for Melbourne for two reasons. Firstly it's one of the cheapest options from Perth, and secondly it's easy to go from there to visit my mum.

I haven't been counting my calories for the last few days, and neither have I been drinking water. All these strange work hours, PLUS the fact that I'm trying to finish writing this story… haven't had time to go shopping and won't get time to go shopping/cook anything until Tuesday. So - as dangerous as it sounds - I'm just having a week where anything goes.

This will test me. Trying to get through a week where I'm completely distracted from food etc will give me some idea of what I have learned.

Last night at work two of us moved several 40kg BBQs - all good until one of the boxes fell (on its edge) on my arm. You should see the bruise! But it did occur to me that when I finish this weight loss, that bbq will be the amount of weight I will have lost

OK gotta fly! weekends are really, really busy at work - and I'm working 11am - 7pm today and tomorrow. Might be good for Monday's weigh-in, but it leaves me feeling completely stuffed!

Feb-Mar in Melb might work for me if my brother and sis in law get their act together and get re-pregnant soon, as I'll have to come home for the christening, I'll be the godmother.

I am so fat!! At a conference in Boston, so lots of drinking and eating of seafood has happened (rich, like crab and lobster!!) - NOT diet friendly!! I am busting out of my pants again.. I think I've gained back everything I lost last year, I really do.

This weight loss challenge at work is still on for another 10 weeks though, and I *HATE* myself being so blah and fat, I feel disgusting! So it's off to the friggin gym when I get back to Pitt tomorrow!!

Pretty engineer very pretty. Still restraining myself from licking him. We have been hanging out and drinking at the conference - very difficult!! Although makes me pull my head in when he goes off to call his kids and say good night... haha. He is so hot. Sigh. If only he wasn't such a sarcastic bugger, I wouldn't like him so much!!

End of Feb early March sounds brilliant for me to. and I LOVE MELBOURNE!! Place of my birth. Well Frankston is. I had planned to take my younger three and partner to St Kilda and go to Luna Park and do the St Kilda market thing.... but who wants them tagging lmao. No sireee. I'd love to do it all together but he will sulk when I want to do anything with you guys so maybe I might get them there first so I can take off alone for a couple days. Someone get on web sites see if motel availability is ok then (in case some big event in Melbourne) and I reckon maybe we start throwing some dates around and stuff to do so we can start organising accommodation and flights etc.....

Vonni

PS No baby yet. Went back this morn for BP check and also ECG and examination, 2 cm dilated but pains are short. Not long enough to actively do much. Keeping eye on her BP at home every 8 hours or so. She's gone home to sleep now so I will go in morning with my sphygmo and check. An hour ago was a little high for my liking but the hospital seemed ok with it yesterday being that (though they rang Dr in case not allowed home) but if high again in morning I might ring them.

PSS - That was a long PS

Oh Kel that sucks. I know how you feel - I was fat when I travelled through south east asia and the people there seemed to have no concept that it's rude to point out how fat people are!

I'd like to put my two cents worth in about our meeting place and say that Melbourne would be awesome. It's one of my favourite places in Australia and the shopping is great February/March is good for me too.

Good luck Ani with your "free eating" week. It'll be interesting to see how you go with it. Kind of like a maintenence test I suppose.

I had a good weekend. Diet was pretty good but not perfect and I managed to go for a 30 minute walk on Saturday. Did a big supermarket shop yesterday so have lots of lovely fresh food in the fridge.

Goals for this week are to continue the good work at the gym and to continue sticking to my points.

im back.. lol

Me and hubby sat down and had a big talk.. on wednesday .. we had done nothing but snap at each other since he got home sunday afternoon..
We both decided we had just got used to not having to answer to anyone .. lol or ask anyone else opion .. and i was sick.. which really didnt help at all.
My parents neighbopur died on wednesday and i sopent all day trying to contact my parents.. i forgot it was my friends babies 1st birthday that day .We had already celebrated his birthday the friday beofre at playgroup and his party was this saturday so i thought the next day .. oh well no big deal and me and John took the kids to the zoo on thursday..

Leah was fine.. she even pet the Kangeroos.. held the animal feed which had hay in it.. and even rubbed herface b4 washing her hands... no reaction what so ever.. hip hip hooray.. i have a normal child it just goes to show how much diet can impact on health.. it has taken 6 full months ( from stopping the foods) for her body to stop reactring to everything.. i know how ever she still cant have the food or back we go she gets sick again.. and everything makes her sick..

So anyway the zoo was fabulous. they have changed a few things around and the animals have much better accomodation.. I almost cryed when i saw the huge vegetation filled rope covered orangatang inclosure what they had lived in for so long was a small concreate inclosure with one rope tower and they were always looking sad now .. they have a huge maze of ropes.. and are wondering around it and seem happy . it was fantastic..

so anyway back to the friend and her baby ... like i said b4 we had celebrated his birthday once .. on the day of his birthday ( wednesday) i was busy trying to contact my parents about the death of a friend they had known most of my life.. and then we went out for dinner , took the kids for a night time stroll down the beach and too the boat ramp to watch the boats come in .. it was lovely . thursday we went to the zoo .

When i came home i had 2 messages on my mobilethe first saying" she was disapointed in me that i didnt ring for his birthday and i of all ****ing people i had to ring him.. how dare i ****ing not".. the next saying. "since I couldn't be bothered to ring dont bother coming to his party( which is today saturday) and that it may not matter to me if it was his birthday but it mattered to her and that it was a really good way to end a friendship".. .

I sent her a message that" i didnt need her **** i had had an uncle die and she needs to leave me alone.. and i wasnt ready to talk about it . and i was sorry i fogot to ring on his birthday and to give the baby a big kiss for me"..

So now she is not talking to me . and she has told my other friend that we dont talk anymore she has even gone as far as to delete all my numbers out of her phone .. she didnt even apologise for being a *****.. and then she told my friend she would let it slide if i wanted to ring her..
Like i have done something wrong?? omg what a *****.. let it slide will she ... **** her..

lmao dont you just love the drama in my life.. there is always something isnt there.. if its not the kids its the hubby if its not the hubby its my mother and when all else fails its my friends.. lol ... my life would make a great tv show i tell ya..

I would really love to see you all but .. me and travelling dont mix so i will have to give it a miss . I have really bad ears .. im a person who gets severe ear pain from just putting my head underwater.. airplanes make me cry for a 3 day minimum of pain.. so youre not gonna see me im afraid.. but i hope you'll have a great time

Kel i hope you find a really good day care for jem. you will know when you have found the right place/person.. and jem will love playing with the other kids .. I know at first it will be hard since at this age they get very seperational.

Vonni youre gonna be a very young nanny lol my mum complained when i had Cameron .. lol i was 19 and mum was 48 she said she was too young lol..
Ani its incredible to think you have almost lost a bbq lol

Julia great willpower not travelling again.. your on such a good mindset atm dont need anything to interefere with that.

Gen i agree the enighbour was rude.. So is this a new man your drueling over with kids huh??? lol you and Ani need to like people that are available you are both worth it .. hey just think you could end up with a man like mine... he acts like a child when he doesnt get his own way lolol... so most the time i have 3 kids instead of 2 .. lol

I know i was really mean about him early in the week but .. hes not all bad.. i was just really pissed with him.. as you can tell .. we had a really good rest of the week together though.. dinner walk on the beach, zoo, walk around the lake .. , fishing, oh b4 i forget to tell you guys becuase it was really funny..
At the lake there is a school and in the school is a giant super slide. you know a real old fashioned long skinny metal slide that goes down a steep hill side.. anyway .. Leah was screaming down the slide fast.. she had track pants on. And Cameron was barely moving his pants were making him go real slow.. So John in all his wisdom.. told Cameron to stop winging and he would show him how to go down fast..." Cameron this is how you do it watch and learn" OMG LOL>>>>> so John did a running jump onto the top of the slide landed hard on the slde with a OH.. and then went done so fast he couldnt stop himself at the bottom. He landed square in the middle of a mud puddle at the bottom.. straight on his ***... It was so funny i could stop laughing .. i was just aboptu wetting myself... I called up to Cam and told him .. that is the way you dont do it... lol . John had another idea however... I had carrieed the kids snack and drinks in a shopping bag.. When cameron came down again John emptied the bag.. put Camerons legs in the handles and tucked the bag up over his bum.. It looked like Cameron was wearing a nappy.. its was hilarios .. and Cam was walking like a penguin too .. so it made it even funnier.. i tell you what though.. it worked.. from then on he screamed down the slide as fast as leah..

anyway i might actually shut up now lol.. cyas

Ps oh yeah.. i didnt go to the party .. nor have a rung the *****.. and i dont intend to either.. i dont deserve that ****.. ive done everyting for her.. even helped her clean her filthy house .. .. i am not putting up with her anymore.. she is mental i swear she is.. she crys all the time.. doesnt look after her kids properly .. and wont admit she has a problem.. ..

amy you did nothing wrong and you dont need high maintenance friends
you already have a high maintenance husband
dont feel bad, if she cares enough she will contact you, your friend has to realise the world does not revolve around her
