And it's good night from me too! 13 hours is enough for this chick for today. Diplomacy be hanged, a good rollicking made me feel a lot better. I'm going home for some Japanese dinner and a glass of wine - whoops :censored: and some mindless tv before a good sleep and getting up to do it all over again tomorrow.
Go Madcat go!!!

happy2bme 11-28-2007 08:25 AM

Good morning my wonderfully demented friend - hope you enjoyed your Japanese dinner. I'm sure you leaned towards the more healthy choices. I would have had plum wine and tempura :nono:

Did everyone get the good rest they were hoping for? Lately around 3pm I hit a slump and I wish I could just crawl under my desk for 20 minutes or so. Then when I get to bed, boop - the eyes are wide open and toss this way, toss that way, punch the pillow, flip on my side, flip on my back... seems like I'm awake for 30 minutes or so but in reality I probably fall asleep within 10 minutes. Just seems like a longer time.

I agree with you Rennie - no one needs to work those long hours but they have us captive. Something about having a roof over your head and food in your belly that keeps you on the hamster wheel each day. But I'm rounding the home stretch, God willing... :crossed:

Morning Mel. I'm coming over this weekend to repaper the walls of your loo with pictures of half naked firemen. (Do they still publish Playgirl?) If you're going to spend so much time in there - might as well make it interesting for you

Time to get a move on here. Love to the chicks...

P.S. Tell Ruth Thanksgiving is over and it's time to get her keester back home again

MELODY525 11-28-2007 09:04 AM

DEEJAY~ WE HAD A LOAD OF RAIN ALSO....BUT WERE YOU SINGING IN IT??? :rain:

RENNIE~ I LIVED WITH IBS FOR MANY YEARS TO THE POINT OF COLITIS.....BUT I GOT A DIVORCE AND CUT BACK ON MY SUGAR:rofl:
AS S FOR SHAD....DON'T FEEL BAD. I HAVE BEEN HER SISTER FOR MANY YEARS NOW AND SHE PASSES ME BY...I THINK SHE TALKS TO ME INSIDE HER HEAD AND FORGETS TO TYPE IT :lol3: :lol3:

SHAD~    I THINK YOU NEED MANY HUGS AND LOTS OF TLC TOO! :encore: HOPE THE WINE AND THE JAPANESE DID IT'S MAGIC!! ALSO GLAD TO HEAR THE PLANS FOR HELPING OUT YOUR FRIEND CHRIS. SENDING GOOD THOUGHTS HER WAY ALSO AND HOPE SHE IS FEELING OK FOR NOW.

MADCAT.....I ALMOST CHOKED JUST NOW ON MY OATMEAL!!  "THE WORLDLY CHICKS BECOME DEMENTED IN DECEMBER" ROFLMYASSOFF!!! I LIKE THIS IDEA AND I AM ESPECIALLY SURE IT WILL APPEAL TO SHAD AND CARLA AND MAYBE EVEN MISS HAPPY! :lol3: :lol3: SENDING YOU MANY    TOO!!

HAPPY~ FIREMEN WALL PAPER!! NOW WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT! I WOULDN'T MIND THE LOO TRIPS 1/2 AS MUCH THEN!! :belly: SENDING YOU MANY    ALSO. I KNOW YOUR TIME IS BEING SPREAD OUT TO THE MAX ALSO. IN MY OWN TINY WORLD HERE IT IS THE SAME STORY. TOO MUCH WORK, NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE AND NO MONEY TO HIRE MORE. CORPORATE AMERICA AND GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS ARE SAVING MONEY BY HIRING SLAVES LIKE US!!!

STAY WELL MY HARDWORKING FRIENDS.
WHERE DO I BEGIN? I HAVE A NEW AND RATHER LARGE CYST INSIDE THE LOWER LID OF MY RIGHT EYE. THIS ONE IS VERY DEEP DOWN...THE SURGICALLY-REMOVED-TYPE. I HAVE HAD T PREVIOUS SURGERIES IN THE PAST FOR "FAMILIES" OF CYSTS. THIS ONE SEEMS TO BE A LONER THANK GOD. THE ONLY THING TO DO IS WAIT AND SEE. I AM ALSO STOPPING THE DROPS WITH THE MOISTURIZING STUFF IN THEM. MY BODY JUST DOESN'T LIKE MOISTURIZERS ANYWHERE EXCEPT MY ARMS AND LEGS. SO I WILL EXPERIMENT AND SEE....BUT I AM ALMOST POSITIVE I AM RIGHT. THESE DROPS MAKE MY SKIN BREAKOUT IF THE TOUCH IT.
THE OTHER BAD NEWS IS THAT RICHIE'S MOM IS IN THE HOSPITAL AND SHE HAS GIVEN NOTICE THAT SHE DOES NOT WANT TO BE RESUCITATED IF THE NEED ARISES. SHE IS NOT DOING WELL WITH THE CONGESTIVE HEART.
I ON THE OTHER HAND FEEL BETTER TODAY AND LOST 1 POUND  SINCE I HAVE GONE BACK ON THE DAILY MEDS I PUT ON A FEW POUNDS TO 185 AGAIN. TODAY WAS 184. THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT THE MEDS ARE KEEPING ME "REGULAR" AND ALSO THE BODY SEEMS TO BE RE-ADJUSTING TO THEM NOW. YES THERE JUST MIGHT BE A LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL! :flame:
THIS FOCUS FOR DECEMBER IS TO LOWER THE SUGAR INTAKE BEFORE THAT TOO CAUSES ANY BIGGER PROBLEMS. I AM GETTING LOTS OF WARNING SIGNALS THIS YEAR THAT IT'S TIME TO FACE THE MUSIC. DON'T WANT TO WAIT TILL IT'S TOO LATE AND NEW MEDICINES ARE NEEDED. :faint: I AM DETERMINED TO GO INTO THE NEW YEAR WITH A MORE POSITIVE ATTITUDE AND ALSO WITH PLANS FIRMLY IN PLACE. THERE IS A MIND CHANGE GOING ON INSIDE MY HEAD AND IT'S MUCH EASIER TO PUT MYSELF IN FIRST PLACE NOW. ALL IN ALL 2007 WAS A GOOD YEAR DESPITE THE ROOSTER! SO MISS HAPPY....THAT IS WHAT I HAVE DONE THIS YEAR!!
HAPPY WEDNESDAY EVERYONE :moped:

 TO HAPPY....I SEE YOUR LITTLE EGGY!!

ceejay52 11-28-2007 10:12 AM

Mel
Take those meds. :Bravo:on that one pound lost. Since I've been taking my blood pressure pill I've not had as much fluid retention. I'm also taking myself off of caffiene. I love my Dr Pepper's but makes the heart rate to fast. I have to let them go.

Shad and Madcat
I've been workiing 12 hour days for awhile now but I do get week ends off. This 36 hour week has been an ordeal.

Happy
The week end is almost here. Hang in there.(((hugs)))

Reenie
Like Mel I suffered with IBS and colitis for about a year. The doctor finally diagnosed me with diverticulitis.
It's much better.

Yesterday I made an appointment with the dermatologist. I'm thinking very seriously about making one for the allergy clinic. This allergic rhinitis is getting the best of me.

Shad 11-28-2007 04:51 PM

Morning all,

MORNING MEL- SEE I HAVEN'T FORGOTTEN YOU. Now get off the computer and do something about those eyes.

I haven't forgotten Rennie either

ANYONE ELSE FEELING 'LEFT OUT BY SHAD' OUT THERE?

Why don't you lot get on my case or something??? Don't you think I have enough dingbats to look out for around here with out you lot getting at me too? :lol3:

It's cool, overcast and demented here. Demented in December sounds perfectly good to me. Demented from June to January probably fits the bill as well.

Got one son sorted for Christmas (hey Rennie I like the avatars you are using) and now have to try and line up the other son. Easier said than done. They are all over the country this mob. Anyway I need to get my act into gear before all the seats go and I have to fly them Business Class - then the wallet will take a might smack!!! It's cheaper to take an economy class trip to SF than to fly from Brisbane to Perth business class. Can't believe that one.

Oops - troubles just arrived. I'll be back to comment and say hello to all those not yet mentioned OKAY

Shad 11-28-2007 05:22 PM

And now for a bit of juicy scandal and gossip.

Watch out Toronto - the Madcat and Carla are getting together tonight to do a bit of painting (as in painting the town red)

How do I know this - because I have an ear to the ground, and a long nose.

ceejay52 11-28-2007 05:28 PM

Oooh--Carla and Madcat without miss Ruth.

Shad--Hang in there.

Shad 11-28-2007 07:42 PM

And I thought you wanted snow at the back door and icicles hanging from the windowsills!!!!

Shad 11-28-2007 08:04 PM

Crikey, and here was I thinking the big windows let in what little light you have during the day in winter

1day@atime 11-28-2007 10:29 PM

Hello Ladies,

Thank you for all the Birthday Wishes... Of course I had to celebrate, with a big ol piece of cake... and a drink... and dinner.... OH, we'll back on track...Getting up to workout was so hard after being off for 4 days..

Shy - I too enjoy the winter, and I definitely prefer sitting in the house, under a big blanket. It turned cold here last week, I"m sure not as cold as up there though.

Happy - I love your mother's motto... I guess i'm somewhat living by it too..

Rennie & Mel - I too have IBS, I noticed when I'm stressed it seems to hurt more and of course when I eat high fat/greasy foods..

:wave::wave: Hello to everyone else...

carla49 11-29-2007 12:15 AM

NEWS FLASH - Toronto has survived an evening of serious canuck fc chinwagging. All is well with the world, many of its problems sorted, and a blood oath sworn to never divulge the evening's menu. Carla is pleased to confirm that, despite her name, Madcat is neither crazy nor enraged. Early discussions of a pan-Ontario get-together next spring - attention Holly and Ruth! (And, of course, any other worldly chicks in the area at the time...)

Mel, I haven't forgotten you, and have my fingers crossed that the new cyst doesn't require surgery. Such rotten luck you have! Just be careful to take it easy and eat right, or I'll waddle down there and use Shad's cattle prod on you. You have been warned!!!

Shad, what the heck is going on with that project? Why did it all suddenly get so much more complicated? Will they pay you enough overtime so you can zip over to join the Ontari-ari-ario get-together next year??
By the way, the tiny print below my siggie has been there for some time, ever since I realized setting goals had a negative effect on my success rate. It seems eliminating goals does the same thing...

It's very late, and work tomorrow, so that'll have to be it for now. Sorry for the lengthy absence, I've been scouting locations for our move next week and got stuck in the Doldrums. Madcat, however, haŝ made it clear we're not going to spend the month there, so we'll have to keep looking.

I'll finally be home late Friday, and more likely to post then. My hotel (number three in the last week) is very ritzy but has no coffeemaker. I'll find out tomorrow if the free shoe shine really means free shoe disappearance! Also, Dec 1 absolutely must be the end of this reckless :censored: food porn frenzy. The weigh-in Sat morning should be sufficiently sobering... Maybe I need to eat whatever sent poor Mel to her all-night rendez-vous on the loo/one pound weight loss... about 10 times in a row.

Okay, I'm getting silly. So goodnight, sleep tight, etc. to Holly, Happy, Shy, 1day, Rose, Painter, Meadow, Ruth, Ceejay.

happy2bme 11-29-2007 12:41 AM

Goodnight Carla
Goodnight Madcat
Everyone else appears to be sleeping except
GOOD MORNING SHAD!!!!!!

Shad 11-29-2007 01:53 AM

Afternoon actually - your post came in at 2.41pm my time. And I have been here for hours and hours and hours and hours and hours..........zzzzzzzzzzzzz oh poop, meeting time (AGAIN)

happy2bme 11-29-2007 08:17 AM

yes, I forget that you are 14 hours into the future over there...

Morning chicks, no time to post. Having problems with the router and DH needs the connection so he can work.

Have a good one, hopefully back tonight...

MELODY525 11-29-2007 09:03 AM

I HATE THIS WIRELESS KEYBOARD!!!! :tantrum:
MY PINKY HIT "BACK" AND IT DID ALONG WITH MY LONG POST! :rollpin: WELL I CANNOT GO THRU ALL THAT POSTING AGAIN SO...........

RICHIE'S MOM IS SHOWING SIGNS OF GETTING BETTER. THE FAMILY HAS LESSENED THEIR HYSTERICAL CRYING. RICHIE ACTUALLY HAS WORK THIS WEEK NOW. ALL THINGS GOOD OVER HERE. I HAVE BEEN FAITHFUL WITH THE HERBAL MEDS, CREAM AND EYE SOAKS. EVERYONE IS SAYING HOW GOOD MY FACE LOOKS. :D
SO I AM A HAPPY CAMPER AND PRAYING FOR MIRACLES ON BOTH MY "ENDS".  IT'S CLOSE ENOUGH TO CHRISTMAS SO MAYBE THIS WILL BE THE YULETIDE MIRACLE FOR NEW JERSEY!!!
JEN AND I WILL FOOD SHOP TOMORROW. THERE IS A 2 DAY SNOW/RAIN STORM HEADING OUR WAY. I SHOULD HAVE STOCKED THE CLOSETS UP ALREADY AND TO BE TRUTHFUL...I FORGOT. I DON'T LIKE TO GET CAUGHT SHORT. NOT ONLY FOR US THREE BUT FOR THE OTHERS IN HERE. SOMEONE ALWAYS NEEDS SOMETHING FROM MEL'S CORNER GROCERY STORE. ESPECIALLY TOILET PAPER!!!! :lol3: :lol3: GOTTA GET OFF HERE. BEEN AT IT TOO LONG.
HAPPY THURSDAY :moped:

MADCAT & CARLA~ POOR TORONTO!! GLAD IT MADE IT THRU YOUR WHIRLWIND TOUR!!! GLAD YOU GALS GOT TOGETHER. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE FIL VERSION OF YOUR "PARTY"  MADCAT, HOW MUCH WILL YOU TAKE FOR THE "DETAILS" OF THE MENU???? I THINK MAYBE CARLA NEEDS TO TURN THE PROD ONTO HER OWN BUTT! :nono:

CEEJAY~ AN OLDER DOCTOR TOLD ME TO GO TO THE STORES, BROWSE AROUND AND KEEP TRYING MEDS TILL I FOUND A GOOD COMBO CAUS THEY COULDN'T SEEM TO HEL ME. I DID AND JEN DID TOO. WE USE MUCINEX (BLUE BOX) TWICE A DAY AND DAYQUIL GELL CAPS ONCE OR TWICE A DAY. SINCE THEN LIFE HAS BEEN GOOD.
CHRONIC RHINITIS CAN BE A BIG BUTT PAIN BUT IT IS MANAGEABLE. GOOD LUCK!

RENNIE~ WILL SEND SOME SNOW SO YOU CAN WATCH IT OUT THE WINDOW!!

SHAD~ LOVED THE BIG PRINT...DIDN'T HAVE TO SQUINT TO READ IT:rofl: WILL SEND MANY PRAYERS YOUR WAY TILL 1/27!!!!!!!!!!!
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...A240_SH20_.jpg

HAPPY~ SO SORRY ABOUT THE ROUTER BUT GOD WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS!! NOW YOU HAVE MORE TIME IN THE REAL WORlD

PATTY~ GLAD THE DAY WAS A GOOD ONE!!
I AM ALMOST AFRAID TO BRAG BUT A FEW YEARS AFTER MY DIVORCE AND CHANGES IN DIET, I GOT RID OF THE IBS. (KNOCKING ON WOOD HERE) LOL

OK THIS IS IT..... :moped:

MELODY525 11-29-2007 10:45 AM

25 Days

14 Hours

16 Minutes

...But who's counting?

Shad 11-29-2007 04:54 PM

Morning all,
Did someone say bananas - I live in Queensland which is known for its banana crops. That's why we are called banana benders. Other States are variously known as Cockroaches (NSW) Sand Gropers (WA) and Mexicans (Victoria - it's south of the border!) that might take some working out.

I read an article on IBS sourced from the Australian Doctor newspaper. I'll try to reproduce but may have to leave out some bits.

PARASITE SUSPECT IN IBS
Patients who have been diagnosed with IBS or chronic diarrhoea could in fact be infected with a parasite.
According to experts writing in the Canadian Medical Association Journal, a parasite previously believed to be fairly harmless was a strong suspect behind gastrointestinal disease causing diarrhoea, abdominal pain and cramping. In such cases a course of antiparasitic agents cured the patients.
Further research at St Vincents Hospital in Sydney found that one per cent of stool samples examined were found to be infected with the parasite, and all the infected patients has gastrointestinal symptoms.
While this research is an exciting development, controversy remains over the organism's importance in chronic IBS.

So there you have it.

And here is another little gem from the same Health and Wellbeing booklet we get distributed here at work.

When you get home after a hard day at work, walk barefoot across a carpeted floor. The textured surface stimulates pressure points on the soles of your feet and triggers the release of calming hormones.

Now there's one for our Happy!!!!!!

Mel I could be rude and say SHUT UP ABOUT CHRISTMAS ALREADY but I won't cause you are my friend and you enjoy it. Any joy in the season has gone out of it for me, but I will take the holidays and have fun anyway.
Speaking of Christmas - I don't have any cards written or sent so far this year. I'd better get onto it soon. Few presents to buy and I may just look for them over the weekend. I've hired a car because I need to do a big shop and I want to go visit a couple of places as well and I ain't coming in here to do anything at all. I've already clocked up 56 hours this week. A weekend off won't go astray.

Mel - as far as Madcat and Carla go, I'm not sure I would worry about the menu, I wonder what they said about us????? Just kidding. It's nice to hear of the chicks around the world getting together and forging new friendships and bonds. Long may it last and often may it happen.

Carla - I would love to come over for the Ontario chapter meeting. Alas, it is probably unlikely - unless someone can find me a job over there - I'm still working on it - or I win a lottery, but then that involves taking a ticket and I don't do that often.

Talking of Ruth and Holly - where are they? Did they get buried under a ton of snow or something. I know Ruth was going west to the DD but I haven't seen her around site at all for some time. I hope that things have not gone bad for her DH. Holly must be all Christmassed out because that was the last time we heard from her as well.

Rennie - sometimes I think those picture windows were created by men for women to clean! I did see something on Cable TV about a man who restored a water tower in Britain to live in and he put self cleaning glass in the top windows of the tower. I must find out more about them since I would love to live in a house which consists of a slab floor, walls of glass and a wide overhanging roof. There is one in Mataranka in NZ that I would just adore. However all that glass is daunting.

Right if I have forgotten someone, so be it. Breakfast calls along with some coffee. My weekly treat.

Ruthxxx 11-29-2007 05:37 PM

I'll never get caught up! I was away for a week and in major rush mode just before so didn't get in her much to post.

Came home yesterday to snow, ice and freezing weather but was able to put the Focus in the barn. Donnie cleaned and cleared all Kevin's construction crap to one side. Good guy! He even covered the AC for winter.

Today was mainly unpacking, ordering some gifts online and tackling the bag (yes, a bag!) of mail which included magazines and bills. I managed to get one gift wrapped and mailed off to my Secret Santa person who is in Toronto. It should get there in plenty of time for a change. Last year I had a woman in Finland which was a challenge - and $67!!!!

Tomorrow I will start another Christmas wall hanging, pick up one of the elusive Webkidz and crank myself into full Christmas mode. When I was out West, my DD and I did some shopping for the kidlets so I wrapped it out there and left it. I'll save millions on mailing.

Yes, I'm moving into Christmas mode. I love the season. Time to get out the Christmas earrings and sweaters, right?

I know I've missed a bunch of stuff but will try to read - great to see our Melodie back here even if she is a Christmas fruitcake!

AND and Ontario Springtime meet sounds super.

Shad 11-29-2007 06:11 PM

Crikey - yell and she appears!!! Welcome home Ruth

ceejay52 11-29-2007 09:34 PM

Ruth
Glad you enjoyed your visit, but coming home to snow and ice doeesn't sound to inviting. Glad your helper got things doen for you. I'm not looking forward to that part of the winter.

Shad
Good for your for not working this week end. You need time to unwind and shopping does that for me.

Rennie and Shad
As for me and my story on the IBS problem. Partly due to nerves and partly due to the formation of diverticulum. Luckily I've not been bothered since I've been on my high fiber diet.

Reenie
Come clean for me please. I've just not been in the mood. However, It should not take long since I did a major clean before my sister's visit last week. I miss her already. I also like the Santa Avatar.

Mel
I've done the over the counter meds but they are not strong enough. The allegra d 180's doesn't appear to be doing the job eitiher. I went to Lowe's today and purchased an air purifier. If this doesn't help then it's off to the allergy clinic. The injection my doctor gives me last approximatly one week. I'm going back for another one tomorrow. My aunt doesn't want me to do this but I'm tired of suffering.

Shad 11-30-2007 02:31 AM

Okay - I'm out of here for the weekend. I have hired a car and after I go shopping tomorrow morning, I intend to drive to Margaret River and go sightseeing. Long drive, I may even stay overnight who knows. I'll be back Monday my time

HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND.

happy2bme 11-30-2007 07:41 AM

have a good weekend Shad. I'm off to the doctor's this morning for a routine checkup and some tests. Can't eat anything this morning. I CANNOT FUNCTION WITHOUT MY COFFEE so I'm a bit bleary eyed and crabby. They better take me right on time for my appt too. Yesterday I sat there for an hour and a half until they called me in. They are very bad about keeping on time in the doctor's offices here which fumes me.

Anyway I have nothing to say at the moment that's coherant so I'll catch y'all later...

Ruthxxx 11-30-2007 09:21 AM

Bloody body is still on West Coast time and didn't get me up until eight! Very cold for the end of November at 18ºF but I've got lots of wood and kindling for the back room so Hershey and I will be cozy tonight.

Today will be shopping and Christmas planning. I have also declared war on the damned mice who are just snitching the bait from my trap line and then running off giggling! It's time for Warfarin, the A-Bomb of rodent control. I don't mind them in the basement but "Stay outta my cutlery drawer. you little buggers!"

Time to gird my loins and tackle the day!

MELODY525 11-30-2007 09:26 AM

 GOODBYE SHADDIE...HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!

HAPPY~ HOPE THE VISIT TO THE DRS GOES WELL!
WILL SEE YOU WHEN YOU RETURN!!

CEEJAY~ THE mUCINEX USED TO BE A PRESCRIPTION TILL THE GOVT ALLOWED IOT TO GO OTC LAST YEAR. IT JUST KEEPS THE MUCOUS THINNED OUT SO IT DOESN'T STUFF YOU UP SO BAD. HOPE THE SHOT WORKS!!

RENNIE~DID YOU GET THE BANANAS?? HAPPY CLEANING.

:welcome: HOME MISS RUTH!!! GLAD TO SEE SOMEONE ELSE WITH THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT!! I ORDERED ONLINE ALSO. EVERYTHING IS DONE AND I AM READY FOR SANTA'S VISIT :hohoho:

I DIDN'T GO FOOD SHOPPING. JUST NOT FEELING LIKE IT SO I ORDERED DOWN THE STREET. MY FREEZER IS STILL PRETTY FULL SO I JUST NEEDED THE BREAD, MILK, EGGS KIND OF STUFF. A BIT NIPPY OUTSIDE TODAY. I THINK OUR FALL/SPRING-LIKE WEATHER IS OVER NOW. LOL
JEN IS GOING FOOD SHOPPING TODAY THOUGH. THEN WE WILL STOCK UP THE SHELVES NEXT WEEK WHEN I FEEL MORE MYSELF. NOW THE STORM LOOKS TO BE COMING ON SUNDAY AND MORE RAIN THAN SNOW. WISH THEY WOULD MAKE UP THEIR MINDS! OFF TO PEDAL FOR A FEW. :ebike:
HAPPY FRIDAY AND HOPE WE ALL HAVE GREAT WEEKENDS!! :moped:

ceejay52 11-30-2007 01:32 PM

Ruth
I hate mice. I sometimes get them after the farmers start harvesting but not this year. Guess I'd better go get some traps just in case.

Happy
The doctor's office is why I like living in a small town. At my last obgyn visit I had to wait a couple of hours. He had two deliveries at the same time. Hope things turn out okay. You can have coffee later.

Mel
We're suppose to get cold air from Canada next week. I'm simply not ready for this. Online shopping is a good idea. However, the easiest thing for me to do is give money. The purifier has cleaned the air in the house. When I went to bed I was completely clogged. This morning I could breathe. I slept alot better.

Reenie
I've heard of the peanut butter but not the bacon. I've learned to stick the cheese in the little hole with just a tad hanging out. This way they can't run off with it. They don't like 2% cheese.

Holly
Where are you?

My stomach has been fed and I'm back home. Lunch today was on the city. It was a reward for no time down for injuries. We had fish with all the trimmings.

Tomorrow I'm starting the challenge that Oprah has going. I've printed off the contract. My exercise today will consist of yard work. Need to get moving. I can finish cleaning house tonight.

MELODY525 11-30-2007 02:11 PM

CEEJAY~ I HAVE ONE IN MY BEDROOM AND LOVE IT BUT IT'S JUST AN IONIZER. I SLEEP AND BREATHE BETTER AT NIGHT NOW FOR THE LAST FEW YEARS. GOOD LUCK!

I WENT TO AN EMERGI-MED TO HAVE SOMEONE LOOK AT MY EYES. THE DR SAID THE LEFT LOOKS LIKE IT WON'T NEES SURGERY BUT THE RIGHT EYE IS QUESTIONABLE. THE SURGERY IS FAST BUT I DON'T WANT IT BEFORE CHRISTMAS AND IT CAN BE POSTPONED HE SAID INDEFINITELY. BETTER BELIEVE IT....I WOULDN'T HAVE IT DONE HERE ANYWAY! I WILL GO BACK TO THE HOSPITALS EYE CLINIC FOR THAT. HE GAVE ME NOTHING TO USE AND TOLD ME TO USE BABY SHAMPOO AND RISNE WITH BOILED WATER AND BAKING SODA<---ALL ON THE OUTSIDE OF COURSE. KEEPING PC TIME TO A MINIMUM TOO AND NO READING. HE SAID IT'S EASIER TO CLEAR UP FACIAL ROSACEA WITHOUT ANTIBIOTICS THAT EYES. SO I MUST BE PATIENT.
SEE YA MANANA.

MELODY525 11-30-2007 07:22 PM

Thanks Rennie.
I Will Be Back Monday After The Mall Or Tuesday After Food Shopping. It's Very Inflamed Now Since The Dr Visit And I Have Things I Want To Do This Coming Week With Jen. She Is Leaving On A Christmas Vacation Given To Her And Richie By The Inlaws. So If His Mom Is Well They Will Be Leaving Sometime After The 17th With His Kiddies. For A Few Days I Am Doing Nothing So Jen And I Can Go Shopping Together!!!
Have A Great Weekend Everyone!

ceejay52 11-30-2007 09:51 PM

Mel
We will miss you while you are gone. Take care of those eyes.

Reenie
I have never been a fan of egg nog. I've had my indulgence with a McRib. They only have them in November here so it's a treat for me. This year it wasn't as good.

Ruthxxx 12-01-2007 06:57 AM

Hey! It's December! Are we going DEmented in DEcember or to DElta? We have lots of snow plus a windchill of -26ºC or -14ºF!

I'll start a Demented Thread and will be able to change the title later if we decide to change it.

ceejay52 12-01-2007 01:34 PM

Ruth
I'm all for the DEmented in DEcember and why not in the DElta.

Surely is quiet in here today.

I'm starting my newest 21 day challenge today but will wait to post it until Miss Ruth has up our new thread.

happy2bme 12-01-2007 01:44 PM

Ceejay -

Ruth set up the new thread - Worldly Chicks Dememented in December - she also had a link in her post to the new thread. See her earlier post above or click here
