I have my second interview at the Great Indoors @ 9 am. I am about to change the baby's pants and then go look at cute and as thin as possible. My dragonfly skirt was a tad tight last night when I tried it on but with support top hose and nice undies, I should look good. Well, I will try and update this afternoon. Depending on what they say, I may or may not go in and work today. My boss was such an angry woman yesterday, that I was so happy that I would be leaving soon. She really needs to learn to relax! ~audri I will check out the other board this afternoon.

Audri, good luck on your interview today. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
My ISP seems to be working today. I guess they were working on lines in Boston this week. Hope it is all better now.
He gave us a good workout at kickboxing last night. I used my treadmill this morning. I'm still doing ok with exercise.
We ended up with about 7 inches of snow in NH on Sunday, so we stayed later and went out snowmobiling. The trails were pretty good, it was our first ride of the season. Going to be a really short season this year. We only went out for a couple of hours, I was fine with that because I wasn't too sore from it.
Have a good day, everyone!

Hello girls. I am employed ft. The only ft florist there. There will be 4 p/t'ers. I met 2 of them while at the lab to pee for a drug test. . Wage is 10 an hour plus bonuses. Full benifits after 90 days. They match 70% on your 401k. And you only have to wait 90 days. My dad is coming down on Saturday to shop for black and white clothes with me. Actually my future step mom is shopping with me. And paying. That is our dress code, black, white or a combo of the two. Casual day is black jeans with black tennis shoes. I will live in that the first 4 weeks as we set up to open. My orientation is Jan 3oth. I am excited. 10 probably doesn't sound like a lot to you in big cities, but most silk florists start at 8 here in Vegas. Same for fresh florists in small shops. I could make 12 in a casino.
Yesterday I should have been on top of the world but I was so moody and so close to tears. I think I finally let my guard down to relax and all the repressed emotions came barreling in. I couldn't stop them. I basically was a vegtable all night. I ended up cleaning dishes and then making a homemade ham and white bean soup. It is simmering in the crock pot now. It smells wonderful!. I was planning on going into work yesterday but I couldn't deal with my boss in my emotional state. So, I told her I would work on Friday instead. But that will be all by myself. Which is fine by me.
Well, I forgot to fill in my birthday on my back ground check for my new job so I had better take off early and go run by there before work. ~audri

That is just soooooo wonderful Audri! I am so pleased for you and I hope it turns out great...that the people are great and that you have tons of fun. And have fun clothes shopping...I posted at msn to hit the thrift stores first, but heck...if you're not paying...and since this is so exciting....get some nice things that you feel good in! Not that some might not be available in the thrift stores...I sure love the two new pairs of jeans I got from the senior center thrift by my mom's especially since it was bag day and got several other things too all for $4. And since they won't fit for very long.... I can spend $4 in a month for some new ones!

The only prob about black and thrift stores is that most of it is gray for beeing washed a million times. But I will go look and buy some Rit dye in black to spruce up anything I may find. I will definately look for black jeans for casual days! I will chat more tomorrow. I hate working Fridays! ~audri

Sorry I haven't been around. Been busy with mom duties and shopping and finishing up my old job. Grif had a checkup, the boys had finals. Life sometimes gets in the way of my computer time! I start the The Great Indoors on Wednesday. Tomorrow is my last day at the college. I will miss my flexible schedule and working near the greenhouse. But I won't miss my boss's moodiness, being her vent board, the dull monotonous work, or the wondering what I will be doing all day.
Mom took me to Costco yesterday. I got lots of freezer meats, and some pantry snack items for the children. I will do another large shopping when I get paid so the supply doesn't get too low and we have to head off to fast food. Griffin must gain weight before next checkup. He is at 10% for weight. Not acceptable since he is growing taller yet not getting any heavier. It took me a while to find snack foods that he can eat without choking, with no dairy and little amounts of refined sugar that he will eat. I wish i had that problem!!! Mom got me a pair of black pants. I will have to hem them. They are a rayon blend that doesn't now cuff well, and I do not want to ruin the existing hem by walking on them.
I have been spending gobs of time with bf. We are getting along marvelously. Better than ever probably. Saturday nights are game nights. We played Yahtzee and who wants to be a millionare mini version last night. Monopoloy was last Sat. I picked up two games at the thrift store last weekend for 1$ each. We will try them next.
Well, off to do my annual Sunday laundry! Crazy!!!!! It never ends!!!! ~audri

Hi-ya! Seems like I've not been on line in forever... we've had computer woes and I've been very frustrated with the machine! Hubby totally screwed it up and lost many important files...all my business ones, and various hard disk stuff that tells the computer how to run various applications... I could kill him!!!!!!!
Anyway... the frustration got to me and my mouth...so that is additional frustration. I'm trying to get a grip, hopefully February will be better!

Congrat's Audri.. on your new job! Sounds great! Hello to all the rest of you, too! I've got very limited time this afternoon.. am at the library catching up on business correspondence that needs to be filed. Dave's death certificates were incorrect so that's been a real mess trying to get changed... finally got them Tues.
Speaking of... Tues would've been our 37th annv, so that was tough. I've started applying for jobs here... have decided I'd like to stay in Oregon since I have more family on the west coast but it will depend on if I find something.
One plus about all this is that I'm losing weight... so that's making me feel better. My business-wear is getting pretty sloppy looking tho, so I may have to go shopping. Oh well... I'll be healthier with less #'s!
Computer warning just came on that my time left is critical.. will talk with you all later. Have a great weekend!!!
