Just a quick little
My diabetic cat, Jazz, had a massive seizure/stroke this morning and has gone to that wonderful place where nothing can every hurt him again. He was almost 14 and had lived a mostly happy life.

I am so sorry to hear that! I'm glad that Jazz lived a good long life, though.

Hi everyone. I've started "back on the wagon"...again! Looking for support/encouragement! I've gained probably 10-12 lbs in the last 3 1/2 months (post surgery, with complications). I'm not feeling great...and it's time for a change! Going back to first WW meeting tomorrow, started back to Curves this past Friday and am watching what I eat...my goal for tomorrow is to start tracking my points. I'm "guessing" today, but not really aiming to stay within a certain goal today...will do that tomorrow.
Encourage me, folks! Hopefully I can reciprocate really SOON if someone else needs the same!

OK, I'm starting today, exactly one week post-partum.
Week 1
Current Weight: 190 lbs (eek!)
Initial baby loss: 17 lbs
To lose to get to pre-preg (144): 46 lbs
To lose to get to ultimate goal (135): 55 lbs
Lost so far: 0 lbs
*sigh*
My midwife said I could eat an extra 1000 cals a day as I'm bfeeding - I thought it was 500! Anyway, I shall be eating normally and healthily this week and see what happens. I should lose quite a bit this week as Ilm still somewhat puffy, although nowhere near what I was.

Fiberlover, you've lost a significant amount of weight...I'm sure I'm not the first to ask this....you should post some before and after pictures?? Seeing those before and after pics of everyone who has lost significant amounts is sure an inspiration to me, as I'm sure it is for others. We'd love to see the new you!

Wow - I'm down 3.3lbs since yesterday!! I know it's still water - my ankles look normal this morning. But it's good to see those numbers go down!

Well ladies, last night was first WW weigh in. Their scales are 3 lbs heavier than mine....which was disappointing. lol So I'm changing ticker...reluctantly. Today's the first day I can tell a difference in the way I feel. My feet didnt' hurt this morning. YAY!! That may partially be contributed to this crazy not-so-December-like weather we're having though...It's been upper-70's and lower-80's here for about a week....maybe a little longer. Supposed to cool off significantly tomorrow. YIPPEE!! Maybe I can get a little more in the Christmas spirit.
I've had 6 points this morning. My target is 28. I know this sounds crazy, but I'll be glad when my target is 22 or 23...only because it'll mean I've lost a significant amount. I've set a new goal....my biggest goal yet. By June 1st, I want to have lost 50 lbs!!! That'll put me at the weight I was when I got married. I'd love to put my wedding dress back on...not that I'd wear it out or anything, but just because I wanna be able to do it! LOL
Okay, I'm done rambling now....Gonna try to go get something accomplished.

Robsia - congrats on the loss. Water weight or not, you are on your way!
Diana, that is some warm weather you are having! We are in the 20s.... brrrr....
I had a great weigh in today. Down 1.8 pounds, which puts me in the 170s!! I am so excited!

I'm struggling with hunger. I don't want to eat, but I'm hungry. Need to find low point food. And quick.

Yay - down AGAIN this morning. Down 5.1 lbs in 2 days.
If I can hit 10 lbs this first week, that'll be 27 lbs in two weeks post partum, including of course, the baby herself and related stuff.
After that, it'll start getting harder!!
