Happy Saturday!! Back on track - had a 100% day yesterday. It feels festive around here this weekend. There are a couple of tree lighting ceremonies - one with fireworks over the lake - so that will be fun tonight.

DH and I are trying to decide on whether or not to go to a movie. It would mean venturing out to the mall!!

Hello to all!
WOW...what a busy weekend! Ironically enough, I was at my lowest weight yet....on Turkey Day. I weighed in at 159 pounds, but of course that didn't last long-LOL! I ate reasonable throughout the day. The only splurge was pumpkin pie, and of course mashed potatoes with gravy:-)
I woke up early on Friday morning-3:30am to be exact. We were at the mall by 5:00am. It was soooo much fun! I found lots of great deals, but more importantly spent quality time with my sisters. I didn't get home til almost 4pm. My husband just couldn't understand what I did for 12 hours-LOL!! I put my tree up yesterday, and the outside lights are going up tomorrow. I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. I'll check back in tomorrow. Chat soon!

Great going CHICK . . . on both the eating and shopping fronts.

I'm still fighting my 'baking bug' off, but I am losing . . . I know it won't be long. Today I looked through a lot of my special Holiday Baking Books to see where I might be able to cut down some of the sugar and fat content. Will let you know what works out.

Have a good day . . .

Meowee - I hear you! I love to bake, and usually do a lot of christmas cookies. Yummers!

I will do some this year, and give most away.
Dreary day here. Rainy and cold.

Hi gang . . .

We've got very rainy and very windy but unseasonably mild (14C/57F) this morning . . . I'd rather have colder and at this time of year.

Got rewarded for my silly 'senior moment' this morning. Thought it was the 28th today and therefore time for my monthly weigh-in. Dragged the scale- out of his corner and he told me I was down 2.8 pounds. Think I'll weigh again tomorrow and then change my ticker to the lower of the two numbers. Of course . . . now this will likely be the day the baking-bug wins because I feel like I deserve a treat -- bad, bad attitude, Linda.

Anyway . . . hope everybody has a great moving and shaking kind of day on the go . . . see you later . . .

Way to go Linda.....great loss! I'm sure your scale has gotten the point by now. Maybe you should let him out of the corner more often-LOL! I am back on track this week. Thanksgiving was weird for me. I have 14 more pounds to go to get to my goal, but everyone is telling me not to lose anymore. Most of my family hadn't seen me since 4th of July, so they were pretty surprised to see my loss. I think my goals are realistic...what do you ladies think? I'm almost 5'9 and I want to get down to 145 pounds. I have done lots of research, and I think that is a healthy weight for my height. Anyways, I hope you are all doing well. I took your advice and did some shopping online yesterday, and hit up some of the "cyber-Monday" sales. It wasn't quite as much fun as being in the crowds, but I save a little money :-)

It's common for people to think you have lost enough weight when you get close to goal.
Don't forget that they are viewing you through eyes that remember you at a larger size, and we all have portion distortion on what is proper sizing anymore LOL!
If someone says that to you, just say you are continuing to lose on your doctor's advice. That will shut them up

Small loss this week. 0.4 pounds LOL!
Not bad considering my huge loss last weekend and Turkey Day thrown in there.
Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning to all!
I am sooooooo excited. I have gotten into the 150's! I weighed in at 159 this morning-YAY!! There's no stopping me now:-) I haven't weighed this much since high school! I am trying to get to 155 by christmas, and it really seems attainable now. Okay, enough about me. How are all of you doing? Sorry to rant and rave, but I don't really have anyone else who would understand how good this feels:-)
