I started on aug 1st and have lost about 5.5 lbs so far. Count me in for losing the next 5 lbs. Im off to paris in about a month so that 5 will be a nice push of my next goal of losing 10lbs by then.:dancer:

8/17 = 144.5 pounds this morning.

That's 2 pounds since August 9th. Wow, only 8 days. When you look at it like that, it looks great. On the other hand, remembering 136 from November, it doesn't look so hot!

Well, this just totally sucks! I'm back up to 146.5 this morning. And to top it off, I ran yesterday and ate totally on plan all day. What gives?

Allison, it's probably water retention. I'll be praying for the "whoosh" fairy to visit you!

Hello from North Carolina!! I'm Jill, single mom of 3 beautiful children ages: 17, 15, & 8. (yes, the last one was a surprise! lol) Anyway, I've gained 100lbs in the last 4 years while going through my divorce and also having some thyroid issues. I just have to say that this website has really inspired me to get on the right track and get healthy.

So....I'm up for the 5lb loss!! Please introduce yourself...I'm anxious to get to know some people! :D

My youngest son just re-enlisted in the USMC and he and his wife will be moving to Cherry Point, NC in February! I'm so excited to having them move closer to home! We are in PA, but after 4 years in California and Iraq, NC seems like right next door!
