Good Afternoon, Flowers! The sun is shining after a morning of rain and the forever wind is still blowing. I just got back from the dermatologist. She is a lady doctor and so very personable. She thinks it is eczema and gave me two different prescriptions for cream to use. I hope this works because I'm tired for messing with it. Her handwriting is beautiful and I complimented her on it. She said she thought it was important that pharmacists could read the prescriptions.

"Gma" -- I hope that your cold is gone for good by the time you read this! No matter how I flipped or flopped last night I couldn't get comfortable. I think I finally fell into a deep sleep about an hour before the alarm went off. :( I drank iced tea in the evening so I don't know if that may be the culprit or not. I hope you sleep better tonight. I just got a Land's End catalog so will look for the sandals you mentioned. I bought some last summer but can't remember what they were called. They have the strap between the toes and are very comfortable.

Susan -- No stroller #3 today, and #2 stroller is on it's way back to WI! I'm hoping to get full credit in return but it is a lesson learned if not. We are supposed to have rain on Saturday and part of Sunday. I hope not as there are many graduation receptions planned starting Friday night.

I should be dreaming up something for supper. Hope you all have a pleasant evening and a fantastic Friday tomorrow. I'm hoping to just put in a half day, if that much. I think everything was pretty much done today when I left at noon.

Just a quick note to let you know I am still around, but this stupid cold is trying to break up and I have a horrible headache to go with it so I have been sitting in a dark room all day.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Good Afternoon, Flowers! It's a beautiful day in my neighborhood! The sun is shining, the sky is bright blue, just a light breeze, and it's 65 degrees. I love it! It was 47 degrees when I got up this morning so I turned up the thermostat to turn the furnace on . . . no heat. Bob called the furnace guy and he thought "maybe" someone could look at it later next week. Bob's comment was that he hoped it didn't get any colder! Sheesh! I am officially done with school! Yippee! We have our district retirement breakfast Tuesday morning and then the principal is having a catered lunch at noon for all staff, subs, custodians, secretaries, etc. Maybe he will apologize for his temper tantrums over the years. Hah! They did collect money for a gift of some sort and wanted any stories or pictures we would like to share. None of us in special ed. could think of anything "nice" to share . . . he doesn't like special ed. and he will be a state consultant putting on some workshops including special ed. teachers. Go figure!

"Gma" -- I hope you are feeling better soon!

I need to make a dreaded grocery run! Jason and family are coming tonight but I don't know if in time for supper or not. The cupboards are pretty bare!

Have a relaxing evening and a super duper 3 day weekend!

Good morning ladies! I am still under the weather, but getting better. All I did was cough and blow and cough and blow yesterday. I have been running a 101 fever most of the time so that made it uncomfortable too. I am so sore in my ribs from coughing so much, but I think I am on the mend since I don't have to blow as much nor am I coughing up stuff as much. I do still have that headache though it might be from the fever. I have been pushing a lot of fluids so I hope by tomorrow I will be cold free.

I saw a couple days ago they have the cover off the pool so I guess it will be opening on time this year. I am looking forward to getting in it and working out.

Not a peep out of the kids so the baby is still holding on. I imagine we will get a call sometime next week.

Jean: Sounds like you are going to have a busy weekend with the grandbabies. Have fun with them and :carrot: :carrot: about being out of school for the summer!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Faye
