Mmmmm cheesecake. Cue the Homer Simpson drooling sounds  Seriously though, hope you are okay.
I took half a day off work yesterday and went to the gym early then went home and made a batch of pumpkin soup and had a nap on the sofa. Having today off the gym and looking forward to the weekend. I'm starting to feel really tired, I guess the 2 nights of not sleeping earlier in the week has caught up with me. Bring on Sunday when I can have a real sleep in. :twirly: |
Hey Gen, are you OK? Is this something you can fix?
LittleKiwi you are doing a wonderful job with your motivation, and the emerging gym bunny in you :) I'm having a pretty good week. Really flat out, but I'm doing OK with my own goals, and feel pretty good about things at the moment. Will post more over the weekend, but right now have to fly - I'm on a huge deadline that is just over two hours away. :) Ani |
It was delicious... heh. Ah, it was stupid. one of the training group girls cracked the ****s and went home the other morning. I actually don't know what was wrong, and she will not discuss it or answer my calls, and has replaced herself with another girl at training until I move!!! So I don't know wtf her issue is. Oh well, I tried to find out, so I can't do anything about it.
Off to work now :) |
that is so so weird - i hate how people have too much time to make other people feel like crap............. you are right if you tried to find out what is wrong that is all that you can do and you have to move on.... life is too short to worry about silly people (even though sometimes they are the ones that need to be worried about the most) but there is only so much you can do
|
My new housemate is moving in this morning, and I'm trying to be positive about having to sacrifice my solitude :(. I just keep telling myself that I need to look on it as an adventure. I've been very clear with her about my boundaries, and the things I won't tolerate, so here's hoping…
Even though I haven't exercised much this week, I've done pretty well with food and everything else. If I can stay within my calories over the weekend, I should be able to lose some weight by Monday. Anyway, I still haven't cleaned out my housemates room - it's still full of my stuff, and she'll be here in two hours. So I'd better go and do something about that. Hope everyone has a good weekend. :) Ani |
Have I mentioned lately that people suck? I am wasting yet ANOTHER fine Saturday morning sitting on my arse waiting for people to pick up furniture... they were meant to be here at 0900, now it's 10:20!! Last week, the guy was meant to be here Sat morning and he turned up - no joke - on MONDAY NIGHT!!! Not to mention, he was just like "oh, I'm here about the microwave". I was like "um, the one you were meant to be here about THREE DAYS AGO???".
Grrrrrrrrr... On the good news front, my RN license for Pennsylvania got issued this week, so I'm almost all set to go! My stopover in Melbourne may end up being weeks rather than months! Today - gotta keep cleaning sh1te up, try and get my vacuum fixed, and get organised for horsey riding tomorrow! |
Woohoo - I'm such a girl, the vacuum had a magic secret filter inside that needed cleaning. Doh. I knew there was one on the outside, I didn't know there was a hidden one as well! The man even managed not to laugh at me! Heh
|
heehee. Gen thats not silly. And the I wouldn't have laughed at you, cause not all vacs have a hidden filter. Want to hear something funny and really dumb? This I did have a chuckly over, but I turned my back to do so. I had a lady who returned a toaster because it would not plug into the sockets in her caravan. She had not removed the plastic protecter cap from the plug.
|
Haha!!!! I hope you pointed and laughed at her!
|
That so funny. I used to work in the layby/returns/claims/complaint section (right next to the shoe section) of Rebel Sport and the stories people used to come up with were so funny,I rathered the stupid ones than the ones that were flat out lying though or the mean and nasty ones.... one guy abused me, he made out very loudly that i was saying his wife didnt know how to wash... he was trying to tell me that this netball outfit just lost all its colour - in the shape of big bleach spots.... hmmm to that i refused to give him his money but some other weakling that worked there gave in
jemima is sick at the moment and so am i, i have eaten warm fatty stuff all day starting with maccas for brekky, but they did stuff up and didnt put cheese on my sausage and egg mcmuffin so that made it better than it could have been hehehe, and the pizza for lunch was a mccains frozen one so that is ok too........ jemima has to stay out of the cold and we have to give her all this medicine, bit sad about this coz i hate it when she is sick and she loves our afternoon walks..... i guess i'm out on the cross trainer if i can find time tomorrow i reallly hope to lose 500grams on thursday so that for hubby's b'day on friday i can say (if asked) that i have lost 5kg by myself the 10kg i lost in first 2 weeks of Jemima doesnt REALLY count i guess but that would be 15kg in 5 months what's the housemate like ani? cant believe you hadnt cleaned out her room yet heheheeh! |
I had great fun horsey riding today. Got a great horse, which makes a big difference!
I've eaten like **** again though - I would be surprised if I didn't gain back my 1.1 from last week PLUS more. I worked out that I lost my first 10kg in 12 weeks with WW, then it's taken me another 5 MONTHS to lose the rest. I lost about 8 more in that time, but I've gained 3 back, so I've really only lost 5kg in 5 months. That's crap! Especially when I've been paying for a 3x week personal trainer and getting up at crack of dawn! At this rate, I won't make my goal by the end of the year, and I think I'm just sabotaging myself. So I'm going to rejoin WW I think - perhaps I just need more structure. It's definitely the eating I have trouble with, not the exercise. I just don't want to keep gaining and losing a few, then deciding I've lost enough, or it's not worth trying, and putting it all back on again. It's NOT enough, and I need to lose another 15-20kg minimum! |
I find Weight Watchers really helpful in terms of being aware of what I'm eating. My points allowance is 23 a day but I'm trying to stick to 20 and I'm not using the bonus points I earn for exercising. I'm keeping a record of absolutely everything that I eat and I often find that I'll resist temptation simply because I don't want to have to write down that I've gone off track.
I went to the gym this morning and weighed in and have lost another 1.8kg!!! :bunny2::trampo::cheer2: This week my goals are to stick to my points and to increase my weights to 4 sessions instead of 2. :twirly: |
I'm stunned
I dropped 1.8kg! I know I worked my arse off all weekend, but I ate well - I don't know what to say… And TWENTY KILOS ARE GONE :carrot: :carrot: :) Ani |
