Good Evening Ladies!!

I was going to do individuals but I think I'll wait until morning....that way I can go back and read everything and make sure I don't miss anyone.

I got my part!! And I got my walk in. I was just all smiles while walking that I probably looked like a lunatic!

I guess it wasn't the motor after all.....see how much I was paying attention...it was the control panel up top. Power was there...but the control panel burned up....or something like that. I'm just thrilled to death about it being back in working order!!

I would like to welcome all the new girls: Donna, Laura, and Meldee ......happy to have you join us. You'll love this group. Very sweet, supportive and caring ladies.

Hello to all you other gals out there. Congrats to all who have lost this week!! Good job.

I promise I'll catch up and do individuals tomorrow....for now, time to clean up after sweating......what a great feeling.....(yes, I'm a little crazy but what can I say? I love to walk! Who knew?)

Hugs to you all!!!

Cool Buenos días mi Amigas!

Good Morning Girls!

Awwwwww sitting here on my computer by the beach with the cool breeze softly blowing my hair...........Pedro has just brought me my healthy, but tasty breakfast and my suite has already been cleaned for the day.................

Okay back to reality! lol. It is supposed to be warm all week though! That is a plus! DH has a meeting with the Director of our building (its good) so we shall see what happens w/ that, he told hub he had a opportunity for him and its all good. Normally if this was just a Supervisor or Operations Manager, we wouldn't be so anxious, but this is coming from the Director of our building! He basically runs everything at our location, he only reports to the VP! So yes this could be a big opportunity I'm thinking! Why else would the Director offer an opportunity??!! Okay so I don't want to get my hopes up too big, but it could be a big opportunity for my DH, so I can't help but be a little excited!

We need to clean, but I'm not really too concerned about it. The dirt isn't going to magically get up and leave anytime soon! lolllllll. I didn't do a darn thing yesterday, but you know what? It felt good! I know that is lazy, but it did feel good!

all the Newbies! This is a warm, supportive, yet fun place!

Well I hope you all have a Great Day!

Now back to my "Vacation Land" and its time for my massage! lollllllllll.

Toodles!

Good morning, ladies,

Donna - some of the best things in life are free! Like you, I feel blessed to have found such a place as 3FC, and we don't even have to pay dues or anything. Indiana is having a weird winter, too. In the words of Alice, they're getting curiouser and curiouser.

Marti - woohoo on getting the treadmill part and for it being installed already. That James is a keeper, isn't he?

Jodi - YAY for 1# down! And another big yay for Emma's clean bill of health. I just love your avatar. So cute. Which yoga dvd do you have? I'm happy that you have a good exercise buddy. We need all the buddies we can get to make it through the journey of weight loss and exercise!

Cristina - your avatar is too cute! It's supposed to be warm here today, too, but may rain. I'm hoping to spend some time outside with the DGDs if it doesn't rain.

Vann - awww, thank you for your kind words. I needed that. In all of your travels, if you get up this way, please come for a visit. I'd love to meet all of the Jaded Ladies.

Sassy - hahahaha, you and your creative imagination! When you're finished with Pedro, send him to me. Since he's willing to be of service, I'd like him to mop my kitchen floor that I didn't get to yesterday. tee hee. Wow, sounds like your DH may get a good offer of something from the building director. Let us know, ok?

Well, I did just fine with the food yesterday and was Starvin' like Marvin when I got up this morning.

I have to tell you something funny - my bread machine makes a low, growling noise when it kneads the dough, and Molly had been trying to kill it, lol. She can't reach it, but goes crazy trying to. Totally cracks me up!!

Well, I have to go uptown to the jewelers and pick up my bracelets, and also make a stop at Wally World. Little Miss Caylin is going with me. Then I hope to be playing outside with the DGDs today.

Ciao, bellas!

Smile Hello all!

Well hello everyone! I hope to be here for the long haul! I've struggled with my weight my whole life - for the past year I was hovering near 162 -- not too happy with that--(I should have been!) -- I started having eye problems in August -- pretty serious stuff -- lost the central vision in my right eye...after seeing 4 different specialists -- 3 of which predict nothing but gloom and doom for me ---I found 1 who is considered a "rogue" and "left of center" BUT he gave me my sight back ! So I will back him for now -- he is also not so gloomy and negative about my future sight. Add to that my husband had a health scare -- hospitilized for 4 days with what they thought was diverticulitis (we were worried about cancer as it is in his family--turns out 2 months later ---it is nothing (??) he had a colonoscopy and they found nothing. Add in a two week trip to Disney World and I got up to 174!! ( I am a definite stress eater! Uggghh! And the weight seems cemented on!! I think I need to cut back on my portions and my carbs.

Hope everyone is having a nice day. It is sunny and 40 degrees here in MA. After eating a bad breakfast (out to eat and I got an omelet with cheese and mushrooms, 3 pcs. of buttery toast, and hash browns -- 2 coffees with cr. and sugar!! All that after suffering through yesterday ---I ate very healthy --mostly veggies) Tuesday is the one day off we are all together as a family -- I eat worse around my husband ----why is that???? (he is rather on the thin side currently)----hope to do better with the rest of the day!

Good Morning Ladies--

Sassy--What a wonderful fantasy!! Let me put on my bikini and I'll join ya! I hope your DH gets some exciting news from the director. That would just make vacation time that much better right!

Jane--DH is definately a keeper. He got home a couple hours before me, had the treadmill put together and he got the computer back together......all the parts came in yesterday for things we needed. Now he's back to work and I won't see him until tomorrow night or Thursday morning.

Meldee--Happy to see you made it to chitchat! Wow, how frustrating and frightening to have all that medical problems in your family. Glad to hear that everything is better. Our temps here in Oregon are in the 40's/50's....but w/downpours of rain!!

Jodi--Hurray on the lost pounds!! Negative talk has been a problem for me in the past.....but I'm slowly learning that I need to stop that, especially if I plan on making a difference with myself. How wonderful to have a buddy to help you out! That's fantastic!!

Vann--I've always wanted to see Nashville....I have no idea why, but I have. So while there, have lots of fun and act really touristy just for me!!

Cristina--I love the avatar too....so cute. Now where do you find these moving avatars??? You'll have to share your secret.

Hello to Sue, Tammy, Jules, Michelle, MaryKate, Mindee, Donna, Laura, and oh boy....who have I missed???? Hello and come back in for a quick wave!

Ok...I need to eat some breakfast and clean up for work. Everyone have a great Tuesday!

Jane- The Dvd I got from the library is called "Easy Yoga" with Suzanne Deason. It has a sticker on it saying it was new in the library 6/06 so it's not very old. The back says that this last is an award-winning yoga instructor. Whatever THAT is supposed to mean- haha

Cool Vacation Chica Reporing in! lol

Hey Ladies.

Well haven't gotten much completed today either. Oh well. lol. DH's meeting went fine, they are going to meet again to get into more details of the Opportunity. Basically it could be a supervisory role, so some reorginization may be taking place soon, which does need to be done. So we'll have to wait and see because as of right now DH & I have the same boss (but we work in different depts) and when I was hired on, our manager checked with HR and they said it was okay, as long as DH was not my supervisor, so either some reorganization is going to have to take place or I will have to move to a different dept. But we'll just have to wait and see, no since in worrying about things that haven't yet happened!

Well Pedro is gone. I tried to talk him into staying for you fine ladies to come over for a beach party, but alas, he had other Goddesses to attend too. So its just me and the beach for now. Anybody want some fresh fruit and a large glass of water with lemon or lime?? Its still warm outside and we can bask in the moons rays. lol.

Well at least I have a vivid imagination! lol.

I hope you all had a great Day and Night!

hello ladies!

welcome to all the new members. I look forward to getting to know you all.

I went and posted an updated bio in that thread. I also changed my avatar picture. Tommy took that picture of me this past Sunday when his parents were over. I never knew I looked that exhausted.

I just got Brandon back to sleep, so now it should be some time to myself.....I hope!

Evening Ladies--

I got my 30min walk in. Feels good to have some exercise back in my days. Of coarse, there was no excuse for me to NOT have any activity the week the treadmill was down. I am chalking up last week as a "rest" week. (pitiful eh?)

Jodi--I have a yoga/pilates tape, DVD, and CD. And of the three....the CD worked my butt off. I'm not sure if it's because I didn't have to strain my neck to "watch" how do it, which in turn made me not do the poses correctly or what. I just know that if I do yoga/pilates I need to just LISTEN to the instructions. I like pilates a lot....just not my favorite.

Vann--I hope they don't wear you down tomorrow. 17hrs?? That's crazy talk! Are you needing some company in May for that trip to Los Cabos?? After working crazy hours like 17.....you deserve to have a tropical vacation!

Sassy--My hubby and I met at work, he was my supervisor at the time. We didn't work there long after we got together, and when we worked at Sony....we got the same shift but different departments. It was great. Love spending time w/him and all.....but if we had to work the same place AND the same department....I may have gotten on his nerves! I do wish we still worked there.....I don't get to see him as much anymore and I miss him a lot. Hope things work out for your hubby and he gets the position and that you're able to stay where you're at....

Mindee--Having two little ones and another on the way will definately make a gal tired. But you look fine in your photo....not as tired looking as you probably felt. I should update my advatar w/a photo of me......most recent photo taken was in July! Hmmm........what's up with that?

Hello to the rest of you gals.

I need to consume more water. I probably get 30oz. at the most a day. That's not very much. May need to figure out something to keep my mind on that. Need to keep my body hydrated.

Ok...I think it's time to go to bed. I need to get up early and get some errands done before work. I'll try to stop by.

G'Night!

Hello ladies,

Tammy - the last I knew about what was going on in your life, you were frozen in. Hope to see you here again soon, or I'll think you're now a popsicle.

Meldee - a big hardy to you! I started reading about you and your DHs health problems, but have to admit you lost me at the words DISNEY WORLD. I'm a Dis nut (notice my avatar) and have been there 8 times. My youngest DD worked there last year on the college internship, and had a blast. Anyway, I'm so glad your eyesight is better, and that your DH is better, too. Welcome to the family.

Marti - OMG!! That treehouse places totally rocks! I think that is just about the most creative place I've ever seen, and have it bookmarked to show my son. I don't know if he'd ever be able to take his family all the way to Oregon, but he'd absolutely love that place, and so would I. Well, even though your sweetie is gone, you've got your computer and treadmill, right?

Jodi - hey, thanks for the info on the yoga dvd. I'll have to check that out.

Vann - 17 hours? That'd kill me. Los Cabos, huh? Sounds like a great place. See you Thursday!

Sassy - what a great opportunity for your DH, even if you or he need to switch departments. Hold on, someone's at the door.... oh gee, it's Pedro... and he's holding a bottle of massage oil..... but I only wanted him to mop my floor, teehee.

Mindee - I like your photo and don't think you look tired. Thanks for doing the bio. I added you to the birthday list again, too. It's good to have you back in the fold.

Hello to Cristina, Sue, Julie, MaryKate, Michelle, and anyone else reading this.

Last night we went to a Shrove Tuesday celebration at my church. I skipped the supper, which was pancakes and sausages and ate a healthy meal at home instead. But we were there for the talent show and auction, and it was lots of fun. Mary and her family were there, and so was Terry and his crew. Neal and I both volunteered for clean up duty. I washed a bazillion dishes in the kitchen, and had fun talking with the others there.

Need to make some phone calls .... bbl if I can.

Good Morning ladies

Well yest I decided that I wanted to rearrange my schedule and take today off. Last week I was able to have Tues and Wed off and we were ALL snowed in. Well guess what?? This morning there was so much freezing fog the kids were on a 2 hr delay. No prob... but then they cancelled school! I was so mad! So much for my day alone. sigh.

So anyhow, after lunch we are headed to the library. Have to take my yoga dvd back and I am going to pick up a pilates one. I have NO idea what that even is, but I am going to try it. They have another basic yoga one so I may get it too. I totally agree with it prob being better to HEAR the instructions rather than watch. Watching them isn't bad if you are doing aerobics where you are even with the tv, but my floor is WAY below my tv- lol

Hi Ya Ladies!

Marti -- Yeah a lot of people think DH & I are nuts for working at the same place and all! But it works out good since we only have one "working" car right now and we sold the old car, so technically we only have one car. lol.

Jane -- Yeah I think it will be okay. If I HAVE to move to another dept or even if I have to get a job elsewhere, won't be the end of the world........lol. Oh so that is where Pedro went? So how was the massage? Or did you have him mop the floor instead? lol.

Well Day #3 of our vacation and I still haven't gotten much accomplished. DH washed the dishes lastnight and even cleaned the kitchen! He also took out the trash and cleaned off the coffee table! Guess I should get off my duff and do some cleaning myself, but just don't wanna. lol. No actually its cuz of my back aching, its not as bad today, so maybe I can get a few things done!
