Good Morning Pic's!

how is the new week looking for everyone? last night I got my book for class out and made it just about to the end of my chapter... that was @ 7:30 when i woke up it was 10 pm power nap I guess! stayed op yesterday... yes tuna for lunch yet again!

what can i say .. tuna was on sale 5 cans for 3$ !! and its good for ya! I just have mine straight outta the can, then chop up some nice fresh tomato on the side, a lil bit of cheddar cheese and its super dooper filling!

ok have a great day! gotta get moving here!

Work has been awful lately. I'm not even sure how many admissions I got in the past week, I lost count but we are now full so it has to slow down a little. It's easier to cope with knowing my time there is limited and I won't keep doing this over and over and over. I've had plenty of leftovers so it hasn't been an excuse to get off program.

Hi everyone!

Well my theory about working nights helping my diet was untrue. I gained 3 more pounds.

I'm so fustrated but I'm not giving up. I am going to keep exercising and counting calories for better or worse.

The pain in my left heal is back after being gone for 2 years. I don't know if it's the extra weight I gained bothering it or that I've been using hand weights while exercising. Either way I hope it goes away again!

Val~ What kind of night shift are you working? Good for you on the cals and good for you too cuz I know you'll get the video in. I need to start that too. I found an interesting site that has free exercise videos on it. Some of them seem pretty fun. I just have to get my schedule in my head and start doing them!!!!!

I had a couple not so great days but did not go on a sugar binge. Just wasn't exactly on program either. I'm taking some time to do some meal planning today and grocery shopping and trying to get back on track today. Hope everyone else is doing okay.

I'm planning to experiment with spelt today. Hope it isn't a disaster.

Dee I'm working from 5 till 9:30 every night.

Petra what is spelt?

I had a really bad binge on Friday. I'm so ashamed about it. Went to dunkin doughnuts to get treats for some workmen that were coming over on friday. I had one of those omelet sandwiches a large cookie and two bagels with a half a tub of cream cheese on each. Gosh that sucks. Definitely the worst binge I've had in years. So Dunkin Doughnuts is one of those places I should never step inside. Apparently I don't have the willpower for it

Spelt is a grain. I like it but it does take awhile to cook like most whole grains.

I was noticing we don't have Dunkin Donuts here. Thank goodness.

The scale is already moving in the right direction now that I've gotten my eating back on track. I won't change my ticker till next weekend though.

The weekends are never long enough.

(((((Val))))))... recognizing your triggers is so important. Maybe next time the workers need treats you could go to the grocery store and do a pkg of bagles with some lite cream cheese??? (hint* if you can get the Western Brand Alternative bagels there they are wonderful and much less cals, carbs- with hight fiber & protien.) Those guys won't know you've done them a huge faver

Petra- I'm still working on getting a lot more of the whole grain into our diet also. Tonight I'm going to try a recipe I found for a barley mushroom casserole.

hi Ladies!

Just popping in... work is kicking my butt, school, is kicking my butt.... yesterday I took a half day off work came home and fell asleep at 1:30 and slept till 5:00 tomorrow we have a retreat day at work, you could sign up for all kinds of classes.. I am going to a reflexology class, yoga, meditation and tai chi should be lots of fun!

Curly your classes sound like fun! I haven't been getting to the health club since I"m working nights and don't want to show up all sweaty.

I did do a kickboxing video today with weights.
