Default Can someone point a newbie to some

general information and basics of the SB program.

Its pretty simple. Don't eat sugar, white flour, white potatoes, white rice, white bread, corn, pineapple, bananas, beets. Read labels, and if it has more than 3 grams of sugar, its not ok. Make sure any breads or cereals are 100% whole grain, and NOT enriched wheat flour, which is just white flour. Most of those on the board stick to three or less starchy carbs a day. You can find a list of Glycemic index values online if you do a search that can help you pick out what to eat and what not to eat. I find it a very simple program to follow. Come join us on the weekly support board, where there is a large group of people following SB, and you can ask questions to your hearts content!
