Bouillon

Hi -

I'm new to SB but am very confident it'll work for me - it just seems so sensible. However I found the book to be a little vague in parts and so know I will have lots of questions moving forward.

Here's one now! I can't seem to find any bouillon cubes or cans of beef/chicken broth that don't have sugar in them, however small an amount. Any advice?

Thanks

Queenie

Hi QUEENIE:queen:

WELCOME TO THE SB BOARDS! I'm surely confident that with confidence and patience this WOE will work for you as it has for countless others.

We love questions, so throw them at us!

It's true, it's hard to find any buillon that doesn't have some sort of sugar in it. I bought one that I think was the lesser of all evils, but haven't tried it-geez, I forgot where I even put it.

The rule of SB is if the sugars are under 3grams per serving it would be okay to have. I personally don't follow that and if I can find something that has 0 grams I'd buy that instead, meaning, if I see sugar in the ingredients, or a form thereof and the grams of sugar are 3, I most likely won't buy the product. I have a hard time buying sliced deli meats like Louis Rich that lists corn syrup on the ingredients yet 0 sugars!

Please feel free to join us on the weekly support board, where we congregate all the time. Just use the quick reply box at the bottom of any page or hit POST REPLY, just not new thread:)

GOOD LUCK!

Debbie
