HiedieHo All!!

Gee! Where does time go? I went to NH, it was a great group! Also went to WD for a couple of more bargains. I am going to us the salad shrimp and make a salad plate supper, maybe some garlic bread to go with it. The Nature's Own rolls make up nice.

COUNTRY: You could have something in common with Geena Davis. She only took up archery a couple of years ago and was soon good enough to try out for the olympic team. It is a sport where age doesn't matter, So you go girl!!! Weight seesawing can be so discouraging, sometimes it seems like it's through no fault of our own, other times we have to face up and admit we went into the no-no section of foods! It will move right soon.

GRACIOUS: On SS you only get paid once a month, I try to budget for the whole month, somehow there is always more month than money! So know what you mean! Hope your dog can last a long time. When you have a pet, they should become part of the family. I was lucky enough to own dogs that lived long lives, it is a wrench to lost them.

GATOR: Vero Beach ritzy? My grandparents lived there about 15 years, 50's to 60s. When I visited (the last was '67) it never struck me as being a money town. How neat about your butterflies! Your menu sounds delish. If you use glass cups for cheesecake you will have to adjust the cooking time. Glass is faster!

JENN: Dress is beautiful! Humor your Mom. Mom's worry. I flew to HI on emergency medical when my DD called me from the recovery room to tell me she had had emergency surgery. She later said she didn't want me to come, expense and all that, but I had to be there. Good attitude about before and after pics!

JACKK: What a sweet husband! My DH would do things like that.

Well, want to cut some aida, get it on my working frame and choose colors for the "Bless This House". Am tired.

Take care,

Shirley

Default Monday

Got the house straightend up this morning because I was all alone. I can get so much more accomplised that way and I have never really figured out why. Maybe no one to distract, although I distract myself quite nicely. I'll start something, and that reminds me of something else, I'll go do that and come back through the house and see the other thing I'd been doing. Do I sense a little ADD here?

Sef: Loved you MM. And you are so right about being able to set the relationship on a different plane when living together. I find that we (my family) always fall back into the roles we're accustomed to when we are together for short periods of time.

Gracious: I'm so sorry about your dog. I know from first hand experience about tumors in our pets. We just couldn't afford the surgery ourselves and just loved our baby until she became so uncomfortable and hurting that we had to put her out of her pain. You and your children will be in my prayers.

Jenn: Your dress is gorgeous! You will be a beautiful bride. I hope your visit with your doctor goes okay today.

Jack-K: Congrats on the wine. I think the Precious Moments figurine sounds so sweet. And hubby is a sweety for thinking of you. Happy Anniversary!

CM4H: WTG on the bow! Don't worry about the weight. I, too can have a jump of as much as 5 pounds in one day. It's usually mid cycle and eventually falls back down.

Heartmom: We are all hoping the Boogie is doing well. Let us know!

Deb: Hope you find that modem on sale. Have you checked the online stores? Maybe there's something on there.

Gonna go do some (Yuck) school work now. It's getting closer and closer and I don't really want to think about it.

Take care,
Jeanie

Gator: I love raising butterflies. We've raised Monarchs every spring. When your caterpillars are ready to form the chrysillis, they'll crawl to a twig or the top of your container. I've used screen, or net, or that plastic sheet stuff with the squares that you do needlework on. I don't know what it's called (Sef?). They'll hang upside down in a J. When they turn dark, it's getting close. With Monarchs, they'll start shimmying(?), twisting and turning, then it appears that the green is oozing out. But I think, from observing, that the outter skin begins to separate and the green in underneath. It is amazing to watch! You have to be very observant because it happens so fast. We've missed them many times because the class took a bathroom break, came back in to find the chrysillis hanging. The next amazing thing is the butterfly coming out. The chrysillis turns dark, but really it's the butterfly showing through the thin skin of the chrysillis. They break through the skin, crawl out and then start pumping the fluid from their bodies into their wings. You cannot help but wonder at the awesome power of the Creator when watching this whole experience. ENJOY!

Smile Boogie update

Well, Boogie had his cath done and all is well. He didn't have any significant collaterals(good) and is pressures were within range(good). It was still scary- especially when we thought it was going to be less risk than the last heart cath. We were wrong- the doc said the risk would be the same as the first since they would have to go into the neck also along with the groin. The last time the doc was describing the procedure and said " if the blood clots, then he'll die". Then this time, he says it's the same risk. UGH! I was a total basketcase. I was crying and hubby looks at me and says "u need to get it together". I told him that I would never be able to get it together when it comes to my son and that if he didn't want to see me upset and crying, then he should leave the room. Anyway, he's doing well except for a cold. We still don't have a surgery date. I'll need a bottle of nerve pills to take with me,lol.

Hi Gang,

Just seeing what everyone is up to.

I have a ? for all you Florida girls. Can you get Nature's Own ww buns and rolls, in Florida??? If so what stores carry them. My DD is going to Destin next week and I was going to have her look for them. Thank for your help.

Cherylco, I think this WOE is easy to follow eating out. Just don't overdo on portion sizes. Ask for a doggie bag up front. take home half for the next day's lunch. I also ate "legal" at the casino buffet.

Melf, Have fun at VBS tonight. Hope your crowd improves.

Sef, Send me some of those Nature's Own rolls, buns, etc. We can't get them here. Get some rest.

Jred, I don't think it's ADD, just to much to do or too much clutter. At least in my house. I had the same problem this morning. Trying to pick up and went from one thing to the next. Finally realized I had better get ready for work. That's a job that is never done.

Heartmom, Sounds like you got good news about Boogie. It is so hard when something is wrong with our children, even if it is something simple. I cannot imagine what you go through. Still sending prayers and {{HUGS}} for you both. How long will he stay in the hospital? Don't be too hard on your DH, men just don't understand. I'm sure he is worried too.

Have a great night. Talk to you all tomorrow.

Jackie

Hi everyone,
I had a nice weekend. We went to the red lobster crabfest. Yummy!! I got the endless bucket of crab. Passed on the rolls. Stayed 100% OP!!!
I have been exercising more lately and it really seems to help!! This morning I was 161.8, last week I was 164. I have been cutting my starchy carbs down, not intentionally, just seems to be happening.

Gracious
Sorry to hear about your dog. Hope all goes well.

Gator gal
Your butterfly garden sounds wonderful. Are you taking pictures?? I have butterfly bushes….I did not know there were larval plants.

Jenn
Your dress is beautiful!!!! I hope the GB surgery is easy on you. My aunt had it and she recovered quickly. Then you can concentrate on eating 100% OP and get that lovely dress taken in!! How long till the wedding?? You can do it!!!

Deb
Hope you get the puter fixed soon!! Have you been able to look online for a modem?? That’s usually were you will find the best deals.

I get an invalid message when I try to vote in the poll.

Jack-k
That is soooooo sweet of your husband. It is so much help when the DH is supportive. I think that is romantic!!

Cheryl
Way to go on staying on program when eating at a casino!!

Take Care!

Hi again,

Had the meeting with the Dr. My surgery is scheduled for August 27th. That way I don’t have to go back to work until after Labor Day. I actually would return on my birthday. Wonder if I can eat a slice of cake that day?

My first dress fitting is August 26, the day before the surgery. So I’ll have a month to eat lightly with as little fat as possible (to avoid irritating my gall bladder). I should start a “new diet” fad – the Surgery Diet or something. Just Kidding!

Thank you all for the wonderful comments on the dress. Even my mom liked it, and I was worried about pleasing her picky taste.

Gracious, sorry to hear about your dog. Enjoy your time with her as best you can.

Gator, that butterfly garden sounds wonderful! I’d love to do something like that if I can ever get a garden going.

Cherylco, we’re doing a headpiece/wreath of silk flowers in autumn colors, to match my bouquet. Nothing too fancy.

Heartmom, glad to hear Boogie’s cath went well. He was in our thoughts and prayers.

Chrisb, that bucket o’ crab sounds yummmmmy.

Take care, everyone!

Hello there!

It has been a hectic few days and I haven't had a chance to make a decent post. Tranquil is also having a busy day at the office and asked me to post something for her. Her exact words were: "can you add this to a post for me for Motivational Monday. I thought it was befitting and maybe motivating to someone - SOMEONE I KNOW". I kind of get the idea she was referring to me for some reason! Anyway, here it is and I will catch up later with everyone!

1."There's no question: it can be difficult to drag yourself to the gym when you're feeling beat from head to toe. But if you shirk your workout, you'll never know whether the exercise would have energized you. A better strategy: Stick with the 10-minute rule. Force yourself to go out and exercise for at least 10 minutes. If at that point you still feel exhausted, give yourself permission to stop. But in all likelihood, exercise will help you feel better and you'll choose to keep going." by Sarah Ferguson and Weight Watchers

2. "Skipping meals and cutting calories will not improve your body; it will hinder your fat burning. This is especially true for women, who are natural fat storers. The less often you eat, the more likely your body is to hoard fat." by A. Scott Connelly, M.D. and Carol Colman

3. "Your exercise clothing should be something you enjoy putting on. It will cheer you up, give you positive affirmation to take better care of yourself, and put you in the right frame of mind for your workouts....You may be self-conscious at first about revealing your body and choose big T-shirts and other cover-ups. But if you're heavy, it's important to have the kind of clothing that protects skin from rubbing against skin.It may be better to wear clothing that is somewhat form-fitting so that the body folds are covered and protected." A Unique Workout Program for the Plus-Size Woman" by Rochelle Rice

4. Physical activity: the larger picture: Less strenuous activities, when performed for longer periods of time, are just as beneficial as vigorous activities. All women should get at least 30 minutes of moderate activity a day. Brisk walking, recreational swimming, canoeing, vacuuming, and weight training are all good examples of moderate-intensity activity." by Susan E. Hankinson, R.N. et al.

5. "Exercise is an important part of any weight-loss program. That
doesn't mean you have a to spend hours a day taking aerobics classes. Just get yourself out and start moving. My motto is, 'Be fit, not fanatic.'" by Suzanne Somers

6. "Portions of food in restaurants are often much too large. Don't
always finish everything you are served. Consider splitting dishes with fellow diners, taking the excess home, or just leaving it on the plate." by Andrew Weil, M.D.

7. "Many women work at jobs that require hours of sitting. The more you sit, the more you need to move around. Physical movement pumps oxygen throughout the bloodstream so it can nourish the joints and surrounding soft tissues. Give yourself a much-needed break and stand up, stretch and move around at least every hour throughout the day. You'll feel better -- and your body will function better, too." Peggy W. Brill, P.T.

8. "Use pepper and spices instead [of salt] to give your food that added flavor. Spicy food slows you down: You simply can't wolf down highly seasoned food the way you can wolf down bland dishes. And, by slowing down your pace, you tend to eat less."
by Jane Clemen, R.D. et al.

9. "Choose stairs over elevators. If there are many flights of stairs
where you work, climb one flight of stairs for three weeks; increase the number of flights by one every three weeks. Or walk up and down the stairs in your home three to five extra times each day." The Real Woman's Guide to Body Shaping & Weight Loss" by the Editors of Prevention Health Books for Women

10. "A basic guideline is to exercise at a level that allows you to talk and sweat at the same time. If you can't talk, you're exercising too hard and should slow down, even if you're within your target heart rate (THR). If you are within your THR and can sing or whistle while exercising, you are not working hard enough, so you should increase your exertion to the higher end of the THR scale." How Eating Like Our Stone Age Ancestors Will Maximize Your Health" by Elizabeth Somer, M.A., R.D.

Default Monday Evening

Hello Everyone! Happy Monday evening. Looks like we made it through this lovely day.

I just wanted to let you all know that I wrote a fairly long post yesterday afternoon and had messages to many of you. Just didn’t want you all to miss it if you were interested.

Well, today went pretty well. I went to a new place to get my hair cut. Fabulous. They started me off with a head and upper back massage. Wow!! That part was even free!!! Then I got my cut and eyebrows waxed. I’m looking marvelous. LOL!!! It was an ecosalon and spa. I think I’m going to be taking advantage of some of their other services. I love a good massage.

SEF---You sure were up earlly this morning. I really enjoyed your motivational thoughts. You really put it so nicely how important we all are to each other. Thanks!

CM4H---Sorry to hear about that old 5 pounds making a pest of itself! That’s so hard to deal with. At least you’ve kicked two of it to the curb. Keep it up. Remember, we are women and sometimes our bodies just try to do things on their own and it makes no sense to us. I’m sure you’ll be back down really soon. Are you drinking all your water??? Congrats about the bow shooting. That is awesome! Did you know that the actress Gina Davis is really into that? She tried out for the olympics. Perhaps we will see you in those tryouts soon.

GRACIOUS---I am so very sorry to hear that your dog is sick. That is so sad. It’s so good though that she evidently feels good right now. I hope it stays that way for a long, long time. My hubby and I are very much dog people. We love our little girl very much. I am praying for a miracle for you all. Dogs are so easy to love and so hard to replace or imagine life without them. {{{{HUGS}}}}}

JENN---Congrats on finding your wedding dress. It is so beautiful! You will be a beautiful bride. I have to tell you something that I think you might want to hear. Last year I was having thyroid surgery (yes, most of you oldies know this!) and my parents wanted to come over and be there when I went into the hospital. Well, I didn’t really want to have them there because I didn’t want them to get upset and me to be worrying about them and all that. I thought I would be fine with just me and DH. Well, I was talking to one of my co-workers and she said, “Kim, of course, they want to be there. They are your parents. Let them come.” So I did. They came over and stayed for many days and they really helped out a lot. Because they were here, Paul didn’t have to miss a lot of work to stay home with me. Anyways, I don’t want to be presumptuous and assume that I know what your relationship is with your mom. But it might be that at the time of the surgery you might really want her with you. It’s your decision, but I really felt like I was in your shoes about this time last year. Just wanted to share.

JACK-K---Your hubby is such a sweety. I used to collect the precious moments figurines when I worked at the Berean store in Canton, OH. I used my discount and got quite a few of them. I still have them, but but they are all boxed away. I wish I’d have kept their original boxes. Then I could sell them for big bucks! I’m sure the ones I have are discontinued. Good job on the eating this weekend!!! Fantastic!!! Have fun on your trip! Sounds heavenly!!!

CHERYL---You go, girl!!! Ask those waitresses all your questions. It’s so wonderful that you already see how you can be in charge of what you put in your body. That’s great thay you are packing the Splenda. Keep up the great work!!! You are such an inspiration to all of us to get with it and take charge.

JRED---You cracked me up when you talked about distracting yourself when you are cleaning. Boy, can I relate to that! When I do it, I call it ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) cleaning. Because I sure can’t stay on task. Even right this minute . . . I was just about to take the vacuum upstairs to run it in the guest room and spotted my laptop and thought, Hmmm, I need to finish my post. First things first! LOL I think raising your own butterflies sounds so interesting. Every year our big conservatory holds the annual butterfly show. It’s wonderful. They bring in butterflies from all over the world. I love going. They are precious beautiful creatures.

HEARTMOM---SO GLAD TO HEAR THAT BOOGIE MADE IT THROUGH THE HEART CATH!!! Yippee, I am doing the all-time greatest happy dance for you all that it went well and that you got a good report. Moms should be allowed to cry for their kids. I can’t imagine the stress you must be under. DH just about shut our dog’s head in the car door tonight and I went spastic over that. I’d be committed by now if I had a child. Hang in there. We are all pulling for you and praying for a healing!

CHRIS---So glad to hear that you stayed on program. WTG!!!!! That’s the spirit. You will be glad you did when it’s time to weigh in on WIW. Don’t you just feel great when you eat the right stuff and make the smart decisions? It’s so empowering. Makes you want to do it over and over again. I think the mini victories keep me going even more so than the scale’s results.

SERENE---Hope your hectic weekend was a good kind of hectic. How was the yard sale? Will you and TRANQ be big time shoppers this weekend? Thanks for posting her MM. Something we all need to hear over and over again.

Well, I really need to get going. But I do have a fairly funny story. This morning I was standing by my dh when he went to weigh himself. Well, first he moves the scale. I shriek, “Don’t move the scale.” So he puts it back. Then he bends over and MOVES THE DIAL ON THE SCALE. I shriek even louder, “Have you lost your mind??? What are you doing????” Then I went into a tirade as to how my weight would be off now and now I couldn’t be sure whether my next weigh in was exact. Boy the more I thought about it the more ticked I got. I think I’m going to buy my own scale that will be off limits to everybody buy me. Can you believe he messed with the dial. Boy, was he in the dog house. So now I don’t know what to do about my weigh ins. Guess I’ll have to start all over. If it’s close to the same tomorrow, then I guess I’ll be okay.

Okay, enough griping. I’m got to vacuum.

Unhappy Blah...warning... ICKY subjects ahead!!

Well I had my trip to the OB/GYN today... (warning for the TMI sensitive, skip this one..LOL)

He said my heavy flow and pain are 2 different problems and that it will take 2 different surgical procedures to correct.
Problem 1 - PAIN - possible endometriosis and he wants to do a laproscopy.
Problem 2 - HEAVY flow - a d/c and endometrial ablation which is using a laser to essentially burn off the inner layer of my uterus. 60% of women have light flow afterward, 25% have NO period, and for 15% it doesn't change anything... but when they do this AND a laproscopy together they like to do a tubal at the same time because you are NEVER supposed to get pregnant again because of the condition of the uterus.

I've been sure for quite a while that I didn't want any more children, but there's something about being informed that it's no longer a possiblilty for you that makes you wonder if you would have changed your mind. Either way... I have to do what works for ME!

I know that everything will work out ok, and just like it's supposed to. On an up side, I did weigh in at only .5# more than I did at the doc's office a couple of weeks ago, which is to be expected since it's the week before TOM comes. I'm happy with that.

Oh yeah, and that cyst he said is called a (I'm gonna spell it like it sounds, not sure if it's right) Nabothinal cyst. Nurses??? He said it is a clogged duct, like getting a zit on your face, and that I need not worry, they only get about as big as an English Pea... and go away on their own.

Well now that I've ICKED you all out...LOL... Hope everyone is having a wonderful week I"ll check in again when I have more time!

Bye

Good evening all.. Here it is Monday already and I'm so behind. Had a nice afternoon out with lunch with a friend. I had a nice salad and loved the talk.. Then over to the dollar store for cleaning supplies. My daughter in law is coming to visit with my two grandsons for a couple of weeks. My son is going to go to school to be a drill Sargent. When he finishes his school in a couple of months they'll be transfered from Colo. Springs to a base near Columbia South Carolina. Can't wait for them to get settled in there because I've never been there before. I'm working hard at having a weight loss this Wed. I need to get started back down.

Thanks Debilli for the "Challenge"!

Sef- LOve the nice saying you put on the board...

CountryMom- You sound great with the bow.... How neat for you to find a great hobby. Have you tried giving up starchy carbs for a few days.? Sometime that helps.

Gracious- No how those slim pickins get the end of the month and its soooo hard to stay OP when theres nothing right to eat...I'm so sorry about your dog. I hope its the slow growing kind and her behavior doesn't change...

Gator Gal- What a nice walk you had... Good for you. Your post sounds so up and I enjoyed reading it. How do you soften your oats.. Your trip to Vero Beach sounds wonderful. The home you stayed at sounds fabulous. wow the butterfly garden is great I can't wait to hear more about it..

Jenn in MN- Good luck at the surgeons. What a sweet Mother you have.. Oh Jenn your picture is wonderful, the dress is perfect and looks beautiful on you... Take each day at a time and maybe each hour. You can do it... Good for you to get a surgery date.. Bet you can eat anything the day after. I did.

Debilli-So sorry so much is going wrong. Hope you get your modem soon. Its a new week and hopefully things will get better. How exciteing your company coming. No trouble voteing for me..

Jack-K-What a cute and sweet thing for your DH to get for you... Sounds like you did good on the week-end. I'm rooting for you a big loss before vacation.

Cherylco- Sounds like your eating isn't to bad. This is the best program I've ever been on. You can do it!!!!

Melf- Hope you get more people for your VBS .

jred- Understand about cleaning alone. I can do so much more if I'm alone. Now if I could just get into gear and get my house work done.

heartmom- Oh I'm so glad Boogie's heart cath came out good. Bless your heart that has to be so horrible to see your baby go through. I would be a wreck too.

Chris-Oh that sounds yummy all that crab.... And congrads on losing the weight.....

Serene- Love your post, very motivational....

The Quilter- Bad husband....... No touching the scale!!! Wow the hair cut sounds fabulous...

Beth-Sounds like you're having a heck of a time with your periods. Hope it cures itself if thats at all possible..

Guess I'll sign off now. Everyone have a good night.

Hi all!!!

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I have a sinus infection, so I haven't been feeling well these last 2 days. On top of all that i had a really busy weekend. Dinner out on Friday with my husband and another couple. We went to a wonderful seafood resturant called Bob Chinns we stayed out until 1 in the morning walking down Michigan Avenue we walked for 2 miles.

I must admit I managed to stay on point with my eating after having 2 outings this weekend. I brought some sugar free ice cream then I know I ate to much That's another item I have to keep out of the house.

I have been reading the post. I hope eveyone has a great evening.

Jenn _ You dress is beautiful. You will make a beautiful bride. My neice just had gallbladder sugery about 3 weeks ago and she was back on her feet in 2 weeks. I'm sure it will work out.

Gracious- I'm sorry to hear about your dog. I'll be praying for you and your children. It must be hard on them.

Jack K- Happy Anniversay I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Heartmom- I'm glad Boogie's procedure went well.

Well I'm looking forward to chat tommorrow night. I'll talk to you
all then.

Sorry I didn't get to post to everyone.

Serene and Tranquil- I hope you guys enjoy your trip.

Default I can finally post.....sigh.....

I have missed so much on the board!!! I have been so exhausted, eye is healing nicely according to doc today, my hound went to the doc as well and she is in good health, my ds comes home tomorrow YIPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, I should have some good overtime coming to me to help pay for my trip to London in October, I am just too excited about Miami (won't be able to control the shopping fun - I am a shopaholic!) and excited about meeting Bob and Deb!!! and ELI!!! TOM is here - so sorry - not going to weigh in - I weighed in at the doctor and my ankles are very swollen and he was a bit concerned - so I am limiting fluid intake again which is difficult for me and watching salt, etc. being a good girl, but with the exercise I got in today, rode bike for 10 miles at the gym, I have been running to the loo quite often!!! So, then again, maybe wiw won't be tooo bad if kidneys start working ....

Fruit – WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO WITH THESE AUTO ACCIDENTS!!! I am so glad you are okay!!! I am sure the soreness will fade off – pamper yourself with hot showers or baths – I told Serene this too with her accident – she felt like she had been hit by a train….I am sure you are the same…. Thank GOODNESS that nose of yours did not get hurt!!! Someone was looking after you! And your nose – hahahaha!!!

Sef – I loved your mm! Your children are lucky – It is not them taking you in, but you being there with them…I think it must be a great comfort for you to be there - you obviously were a very good mom and very close to your son and did a great job!

Gracious – My heart goes out to you and your furbaby who is sick – that is sad!!! Well I hope your family is able to share more good times with her…

Gator – I think I will crash that luncheon!!! Sounds fabulous!!!!!!! I went to Vero once – I remember seeing quite a few Rolls driving by that evening while we were having dinner out….Lucky you – glad you had a wonderful time!

Country – Don’t be discouraged!!! I am up 7 pounds since the other day when I went to the doctor – but it is water weight – TOM is here, my ankles are gigantic! Same with you – it is possibly just a fluke swelling thing and it will be gone any day…..Just hang in there and be excited about your archery!!!

Jenn – That is a lovely dress and it looks like a great choice! Good luck with the operation in August.

Jack-K – That is such a sweet gift!!!!! Publix carries Natures Own….and there is one in Destin I love Destin!!!!

Melf – Enjoy your time at VBS!!! We will be taking lots of pics of the trip to Miami – knowing Serene, she is pretty big about taking pictures…. That is funny how you misread the eye thing – wondering why I put pink/red on my eyes! Hahaha They are nice and clear now – just a little sore and irritated, but not much….thank goodness!

Toni – I am sorry to hear your sweet potato chips burned – that is such a bummer – sometimes those things happen to me and I feel pretty bummed out – shows you how obsessed with food I am That is great about going to school to be a drill sergeant – good for him! And that is wonderful about the grandkids and DIL coming for the visit!!!! I bet you are thrilled!!!

Jred – that is funny about the ADD!!! I can just picture you with all these projects and wandering about, hahaha Thanks about the hair thing – my stylist was thrilled when I told her Cut It Off!! Hahaha – today the boss who has not seen me looked at me really weird – like who is that? Then later in the day he asked me when I got it cut and then finally, stressing the finally, he said it really looks good. Yes – I am thrilled!!! Wednesday night I go back for the coloring!! I will make sure to get pics!

Heartmom – {{Hugs}} {{Hugs}} and more {{Hugs}}

ChrisB – Way to go on passing on those rolls! More willpower there than I have!!!! I just stay away from Red Lobster because I have a weakness for those garlic cheese biscuits! I used to just go there to have a bowl of soup and those biscuits!

Quilter – Aren’t you SPECIAL {said in Church Lady’s voice from SNL}!!! Well I am glad you went and pampered yourself – I have not had a waxing in a while – these eyebrows could probably use that for sure!!! I bet you look fantastic and feeling good always seems to help us with conquering our goals as well!!! {{ROFL LMAO!!!}} about that scale incident – that is sooooo real!!! I am there with you!!! I understand completely!!! Hey good for you getting through the 2 mile tape – hey, I had a tough time at first – but then the next day it got easier and easier !!!

Beth – wouldn’t it be nice if they do it and you have a really lite flow for the rest of your functioning years? Lucky you if that happens!!!!

Serene - Thank you very much for sharing the motivation article I had found.... you are such a great help! I wanted to share with everyone about the fact that when I started to feel weak and wanted to go to the Mexican restaurant and have chips and salsa - you kept us on the straight and narrow and said Sweet Tomatoes sounds more like it - and we had the best lunch - all 100% OP!!! So KUDOS for your keeping ME on the right track at that moment of TOM HOROMONE WEAKNESS!!!! hahaha

Well SBers - I have missed reading the posts, and hope to be able to keep up better this week - Take care and have a good night!!!!
