No big surprises in there . . . the dangers of fast food are legendary . . . a little tweeking can make a big difference though to some of those meals that are listed.
BTW, that is true for a lot of the meals in the book
Eat this, Not That. Most of the things listed use the heaviest possible side dishes and dressing available. It is well reading though, because the author does show ways to cut some of the load down. More beneficial for those of you in the US of course -- from my point of view it was interesting, but a lot of the restaurant chains mentioned are not in Canada.
Two things that really caught my eye from the book were Chili's "Awsome Blossom" -- a 2700 calories "appetizer" (a deep fried onion, basically). And Outback's Aussie Cheese Fries with ranch dressing -- a 2,900 calorie side-dish.
