A silly Scale Victory!!
Okay. who has their real weight on their drivers license?? I know I didn't. For years, i had the wrong weight on my license because i always hoped i would get back down. Well, last year, i finally decided at 196 I could not keep getting away with 130. So, i did the horrible....i lied again and put 170; :o
But my silly scale victory is......now i have gone below the lie on my license. This week i have been weighing in at .....169!!! Do you know what that means??? Time to go to the dreaded DMV and renew my license with a new lie on it. I am thinking of going with 150!!! ;) Anyways....does anyone else lie on their drivers license??? |
LOL....what the heck -- go with 140!!!!!
|
I am *so* glad North Carolina doesn't require you to put your weight. Otherwise I'd be right with you, 140 here I come!
|
I gave up one year and actually told them my current weight at the time. But then I ended up gaining more weight! I've been below that weight for about 2 months now. Now on my military ID card my weight is off by about 38 lbs! It says I weigh 140. My goal is to get down to that weight before it expires in October this year. I'm sure I can make it. The funny thing is that in the 6 years that I've had it, I've never weighed that little.
|
LOL that is so funny!
First I wanna say CONGRATS! Second, if it works then lie your little butt off! And yes I also have mu OLD OLD OLD weight on mine also. |
Lol, I renewed my license last month and it still has 155 on it which it has had even when I was in 230's. I wanted to put 145 on it, but didn't change it. Today, I am 154 (haven't changed ticker yet, but will tonite). My husband has been a state trooper for 20 years and said "I pull women over all the time that license says 125 and I know they weigh at least twice that". I actually left mine at 118, my high school weight for at least 10 extra years.

Funny that you bring this up... I actually pulled out my license a few days ago because I was curious about what weight I had listed. Turns out that my state apparently quit putting that info on the card when they went to the new format, and I never noticed... I've renewed online for the past coupla times and haven't been in the office since I got married nearly 7 years ago.
I guess they figured everyone fudges it anyway, so what's the point? Anyway, congrats on getting under 170! -Lala |

Good for you, girl! Btw, you are looking fantastic!
I had 170 on mine with NO shame- even at 210. In fact, I STILL have it (that's how much I dread the DMV!). It was kind of funny, but I was at a bar on Friday and the bartender was returning my license and credit card when I closed out and he said "Boy, you look much better than 170 now." I had to point out that certainly wasn't what 170 looks like. Men are so clueless sometimes... |
hehehehe I don't know when my license weight was actually the truth. For years I was well above what it said (195) and now I'm almost 60 lbs below it.
I'm excited to renew in September and update it. It will also be nice to get rid of the picture of me which was taken at my high weight. I'm surprised that people accept it as ID these days. In fact, I could just renew online, but I'm making a point to go down there just to get a new picture  |
I have an NC drivers license and there is no weight on there. I would lie and say 140 because thats the weight I get "guessed" alot. We are women.. two things we can lie about and get away with.. our age and our weight!!
|
Well, I can't recall if the weight is listed on my license. My license victory is that I recently lost it and had to have it replaced so now my picture is of a skinnier me.
Congrats on 170 lumi-You are doing terrific!!!! |
I lie on my license all the time. Last time when I was really at about 245 I told them I was 199. The clerk raised an eyebrow and said, "are you sure you don't want to put 200?" I can't wait to go back when I reach 199 and set my new lie to 150, :D .
|
WHAT A :censored: OMG!!! I would have went shell. Of course Im a red head and I would have had something smart to say.. like are you sure you dont want to apply for a handicap sticker because in about 5 secs you might need one.

Congrats, Lumifan! That's got to be an amazing feeling. I am excited that I just reached 196, I can't even imagine 169! Good for you!
As for lying on my driver's license, my current license was my first opportunity. I wish i'd lied! I actually put my current weight, and every time I have to show it to someone, I feel like they're laughing at me in their mind. :) |
