Family NSVs
 

We traveled a bit to see my mom and MIL yesterday (Saturday). I hadn't seen my mom in a few months, at least not since I'd lost the last 13 pounds or so, and boy was she surprised. She kept commenting on how good I looked, that my skin looked great, how happy I seemed. This was especially great as mom was one of my big sources of bad self-image growing up... "You'd be so pretty IF..."

Another one was later, when hubby and I had a couple of moments alone, he pulled me close and said "I know I haven't said so, but you really do look great." Don't get me wrong, he encourages me, helps me stay on plan, and cheers every little half pound that comes off, but it's the first time he's directly said anything on his own. That made me really happy.
