It's... too big?! (a couple of NSV)

  • I got a weird feeling this morning. This weird feeling was to try on my bridesmaid dress that I wore at my oldest sister's wedding last July.
I'd gotten it altered about a month before the wedding, and unfortunately had gained a few pounds in that time. The result? A tight dress. I was completely bummed out, but c'est la vie.
So a few minutes ago, I tried it on... and it was too big. The bust, the waist, the hips... too big. The bust was especially too big, boo! Oh well. It was still a great NSV for me!

Also this morning, I decided to take some progress pictures (my real ones are taken in just my underwear, so I can't share, sorry!) and I can REALLY see a difference. Like, majorly. The biggest difference I noticed was that I stand STRAIGHTER than I did just at the beginning of the year! I knew I'd been trying, but I didn't know I was succeeding!

I can't believe how far I've come in just over 7 weeks. Just over 7 weeks. Heck, in the last week I've lost 2 1/2 pounds! I'm so excited about these changes in my body. I feel just great.
  • Congratulations Ladyfirelyght and keep up the great work!!! It's so nice to be able to look at pictures or get into clothes and see/feel the difference!!
