At Christmas we went to the in-laws..when I walked thru the door my father-in law says...ok where's the rest of you...LOL

On Christmas day my brother said I lost a lot of weight... I see him regularly too, go figure....

when i went home for christmas i visited two of my college friends that i hadn't seen in a year...one looked at me and said "hello, collarbones! nicole richie much?" in a joking manner but i could tell she was impressed. i had another girl tell me how "great" i looked--she never would have recognized me since i had changed since high school. in my mind i'm saying "ok so i was hideous then?" but it was ok because i knew what she meant.

ok, this is sort of a compliment:

Over the holidays, I went back to Michigan to renew my driver's license. The one I had is from 2003 (when I moved here). At the time I got the one I am replacing I was about 40 lbs heavier than I am now, but without ANY muscle tone. When the lady took my picture, she looked at the computer screen, then at my old license, did a double take and said that I was going to be VERY happy with my new lisence because "it looks like you", but I didn't believe her since all license pictures stink.

But, it came in the mail last week, and I LOVE it. It's a lousy picture, but everything just looks better. My eyes look wider and my cheeks aren't all full and chipmunky. I love love love it! I only showed one person, and he looked at it and and my old license and said, "you've got to feel good--look at all you've done."

closest to a compliment I've gotten in a while (I'm on a huge plateau), but I'll take it!

Well I have not gotton any compliments in a while now. But I kind of got a compliment when we went down to Florida to visit my Dad's brother and my cousins actually we were going down there to jusr relax until my Uncle's Wife's son was Graduating that weekend so we went there. The hardest thing was that when we were at the Banquet he shook my hand like he didn't know me from peter lol I mean it was kind of hurtful. Well I took my Blood Pressure for an activity today. It was a 134/86 but you know I guess that is how to does .... Some peoiple don't think before they speak and I just can't stand spiteful people they need to get banished from this earth.

I got another one today . I've been off from school for about a month, and classes have started up again. A friend of mine said to me today, "You look like a whole different person!" I think she meant since she MET me a few years ago, because I haven't lost a POUND since school ended (although my jeans ARE a bit looser so I know I've gained muscle mass since mid-December, so maybe I DO look different from a month ago and just don't see it yet).

My DH told me this morning that he can't wait to see me in summer clothes.
