Former couch potato
 
I was reading through a book on running for women the other day and looking through the training schedules... as usual they suggest you start slower if you are sedentary and that's where my eye usually goes first. But, I caught myself and realized, I've been exercising 5-6 days per week for two months now! I'm no longer sedentary.
Welcome to the world of the moderately active! LOL

It may not sound like much but it felt like a huge success to me! I'm still a ways from my goal but my fitness has increased so much and I now feel like exercise is part of my lifestyle. Woooooohooooooooooo!

That's an amazing feeling - better than any number on the scale. Keep at it. Stuff like that will pop up more often as you go. :D

Also, there's a thread called cool runners in the exercise forum. Folks there are super nice and great at answering questions from newbie and hope-to-be runners. Just fyi, in case you wanna check it out. :)

Yay for you! That's awesome! I love that feeling when being active becomes natural and something I actually *gasp* look forward to!

Thanks for the encouragement Blyss... I certainly didn't think I'd be looking forward to being active rather than grumpily enduring it! ;)
