Goal weight pics :)

This morning I weighed in at 150 lbs.

My last official goal number. I hopped off and on twice to make sure I wasn't on the crack. I'd like to lose another 5 lbs or so ideally, but rest assured that I'm quite ecstatic to see this number. It's been a long and bumpy road with lots of detours along the way, but I made it. (And I'm determined to take up permanant residence in the neighborhood.)

So because I know we all love pictures, here's what 115 less lbs of me looks like. :)

That is awesome to see Tani! I am fairly new here so how long did this take you and what route did you take to get the weight off? My goal is to reach 150 also...and I have 90 lbs to go. You are an inspiration!!

CONGRATS!!

Hmmmm move more eat less? I'm laughing because any advice I can think of just sounds so simplistic. Partially because it *is* simplistic. Losing weight isn't very complicated. The key for me was getting beyond the fickle winds of motivation and just making more good choices than bad day after day. It's getting to the point where the good choices, eating healthfully and in reasonable amounts, moving your body every day, becomes automatic. I think everybody is different in how they get to that place.

:) I've been reading you guys for a while now, guess it's time to start posting. For some reason I felt like I had to hit that magic number first. I've been known to be dorky like that.

I took the weight off over the last 3+ years or so. That includes a long break in the middle of at least a year where took a long break ;) I buckled down and lost the last 50 lbs since January of this year.

I count calories and move my butt a lot. That's my fancy method, heh.
