Any Suggestions on Measurements?
I know that it is key for me to take mesurments...but it seems that every time I try and do this, the next time I do it, it is way off. How do you know that you are measuring in the same place? I know this question may sounds stupid..but I didn't know if any of you had an suggestions or tips!
Thanks!! |
I've had the same issue. I have read articles that give specific places (e.g. 6" up from the bend of your knee) to measure. What I have tried is using the "fattest part" method. I measure my thighs, waist, bust & upper arms at the point that looks the largest and for my waist I use the thinnest part. Works for me but someone else may have a more specific suggestion for you.

Hey,
k...i don't wanna discourage u...but u can google the measurement issue and u will get 100s of websites with different ways to track lost inches. i think what u gotta decide what works best for u and stick to it. hmm..lets see take ur measurements and write down the specifics..e.g..for stomach...measure near the mole..or a birthmark...or one inch from the belly button. For ur next measurement..refer to ur records and u will know exactly where the measuring tape should be placed. another way would be to use the website as suggested my another user on a different thread. i haven't used it...but give it a try lisette831 Registered User -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "i use www.mybodycomp.com to do my measurements." ______________ hope that helps. Good Luck:) |
