Today we had a Weight Watchers Super Meeting in my area. Sarah, The Duchess of York came to talk to us! My girlfriend and I were one of three success stories that were introduced to the crowd. We got to go up on stage with the Duchess, she talked to us and we got our pictures taken with her! It is certainly one of the highlights of my life. Well, as if that isn't enough.. My girlfriend had reached goal yesterday and was told that they were all out of the gold stars that you get when you reach goal with Weight Watchers. That was not quite true though. See, a Weight Watchers PR person, myself, and my leader had been conspiring together. While we were at the meeting today, up on stage, they announced that Katerina had just reached goal yesterday, but that she had not gotten her gold star. The Duchess said that she just happened to have one with her, in her pocket, so she pulled it out and presented Katerina with her gold star charm for reaching goal! Katerina was completely blown away, she had no idea that was coming! Now, how cool is that?! :)
