HI! I know I haven't posted here in awhile, but I wanted to post that my triathlon is this Saturday!!

I got a lot of support here, both in posting and just in reading about other people who are into losing weight and getting in shape- and met quite a few fellow athletes that are larger and training for "big" events too.

I am so excited (and a wee bit nervous) about the triathlon- by the afternoon of Saturday, I will be someone who has completed a tri! How cool is that for a "fatchick"? lol...

Really amazing accomplishment. I knew a woman who was very fit, and her 35th birthday present to herself was to compete in one of those. She trained for months and when it finally came down to it, she told us it was so hard she felt incredible that she crossed the finish line and wasn't last!

I would have felt incredible just to cross the finish line!!

I wish I was fit enough to do all that stuff in once day.... but alas I will live through you!

Congratulations...getting to the starting line is a great accomplishment in itself!
