I have been doing Curves for about 6 weeks...my weigh in day is on the 19th...on my last weigh (and in one month) I lost 3 lbs and 13.25 inches...without really paying attention to what I ate...But I have done better this month...alot more water, less fast food...Trying to cut out some carbs (I LOVE bread!)

I have some pictures that show my progress on my website www.geocities.com/amby715

Regarding the Curves Home Workout

Thanks, kmg73 for posting about that. I asked some of the ladies on another Curves site and they said all the information about the Curves home workout program is available in the latest Curves book. I haven't read it yet but I guess if someone want to know more, they can look there. :)

Oh and Amby876, I checked out your pics. It looks like you are doing well. And don't you just love that Me@LB model? I think that is the coolest thing ever!

:) glad you like it! I just got out of te shower...had a really good workout at Curve's tonite...we have enough machines that we only go 2 times around...3 if we are up to it...I still catch myself going too hard and my heart rate goes too high...so i have to slow down...I will continue to post pictures every few weeks...I used to hate taking pictures...but now..i love it! I actually think I am pretty and have an o.k. body...But I will not stop until I have the BEST body that I can have! :D

My heart rate tends to stay high, too. I have to stop totally on the recovery boards to keep it from going too high. Have you tried that?

they tell us not to stop totally but to take small slow steps....keeps the blood flowing and keeps the muscles from cramping up...

It also helps to concentrate on your breathing (I do pilates too)...In through the nose for 5 counts and out through the nose for 5 counts...It's hard to begin with...it does get easier...but it really does help slow down the heart rate
