4 and half years ago I lost over 60 lbs and have kept it off. I gained weight over the holiday season, but I'm confident I'll take it off. I thought joining a chat group would be a motivating factor. For exercise I walk and do weight training twice a week.

Congrats..losing 60 lbs is a huge success...but keeping most of it off for four years is just truly amazing!!! Pat yourself on the back!! You deserve it. WOOHOO

The two of you are to be complimented! Losing 60 lbs. and keeping it off, and Jennifer, I'm only 4 lbs. from the 190's and am having a heck of a time shedding these last few lbs., it's like the end of an era. I'm going on a holiday to the Caribbean..in Feb. and want to be able to say I'm out of the 200's.....it's like a big mental block with me. I've been over 200 for about 12 yrs. now, and hate it - BUT still stay up in the 200's. Makes no sense to me. A real stumbling block. I belong to WW, and WI once a wk., but seems to be taking forever, maybe portion control would help. Purchased a real good treadmill thiis past wk., but don't get it til Jan. 30th...then I'm away Feb. 9. Glad I found this place. Kermit 214/204/160 |
