I bought some fresh cookies from Costco for my daughter to take to her Guides Hallowe'en party. I bought them the night before and left them in the car so they wouldn't be in the house. The next night, I dropped her and the cookies (still unopened) off at the party. I walked to pick her up and to my dismay, there were alot of cookies left over. I was carrying them home and I could hear them talking to me ...(just one...just one won't hurt...we're really yummy...). I had to pass the sitter's house on the way home so I stopped in and dropped off the entire container of cookies, without having one. (I could count one on Program, but I knew it would be too dangerous and I wouldn't be able to stop.) I felt terrific later...and the rest of the walk home was a lot quieter...hahaha

Talking cookies you say! Well, last night I heard talking caramel popcorn....funny, who teaches this stuff to talk. Why doesn't cauliflower and broccali talk to us??? Good question, tomorrow is my weigh in at W. Watchers....we'll see what they have to say. |
Gaia-
I found your story so humorous- My WW leader always talks about little scenes like that-her suggestion is to decide whether we want to be the "victim" or the "victor". You were truly victorious with the cookies. Good for you!!! I bet you smiled all day after that. 219.6/173/46.6 gone/120-125 goal ------------------ Donna [email protected] (work) [email protected](home) |
