SBD Cola Chicken
 

Hi - I made this and it was awesome. I used chicken tenders so they cooked quicker. I also used diet black cherry coke which gave a little extra tang. I thought this would taste like sweet and sour meatballs (grape jelly/ketchup recipe) but it was more like this candidates chicken recipe my mom used to make (with french dressing and apricot jelly).

I'm moving this to the crock pot and adding some green peppers.

Barbecued miscellaneous meat (chicken, turkey, pork, beef)

Misc meat, misc diet soda, ketchup
cooked in skillet, crock pot, or baked in oven.


and my oven fried "whatever"

fish, pork, chicken, turkey, thin steaks
dipped in seasoned or plain light mayo or creamy salad dressing, and then in misc crumbs (bread crumbs, panko, or even mashed potato flakes)
and baked in oven until done
