Well, I've been up since 3:47 - a new record for Miss Lucy and her bladder. I tried to get back to sleep after that but didn't make it.

It's Syrup Festival Weekend! I've already been over to the Fair Hall to check the batter mixers who really did all show up for 7! Good group! Now I'm grabbing a protein shake and going back to pour the first pancake - Kodak moment! I'll be there most of the morning but off to visit Harry this afternoon and then to dinner tonight.

Stay out of trouble and out of the choclates, OK?

I guarantee that I will NOT eat pancakes, syrup, butter or sausages today.

Morning everyone. I've been completely MIA this week, posting-wise and diet-wise. Not sure what happened this week. It was just like I gave up or something. But, I went to the grocery store last night and stocked up on healthy things and will start getting back on track today. Sorry to miss out on all the action last week. Hope everyone's doing well.

Hi Jana, Ruth, and Holly and all you sleeping beauty chicks! Yesterday I slipped and went to a fast food restaurant. I've been so good but have not lost anything this week at all and I guess I got discouraged. Total calories for yesterday weren't that bad, not good but not too bad, but still I'm afraid to get on the scale now. I guess all I can do is keep on plugging away and eventually I'll see a loss. One plus, all the water and vegetables and fruits has my skin in tip top shape!

Today will be spent on my paper and house cleaning. It's amazing how one person and a few animals can make such a mess. I feel like I'm always cleaning something. Have a great start to the weekend ladies. I'll check in later!

Just got the board to wish all you wonderful ladies a Happy Easter ,and try to stay beachingthis weekend. changed my ticker from 149 to 150. I'm so tired,didn't have the energy go to attend the holy week masses at my church this week,plus Easter Sunday is going be wash out,no Sunday dinner is planned either.Sorry for the whinning!!Hope to be back on Monday after a nice long weekend of relaxing. The Cancer Center is closed on Monday to to Patriots Day.

Schatzi: one of his employees has a side business where people come in and custom make wines and they can design their own labels. i don't think he actually made the wine but the label design was his own idea. the wine is white zin which I don't like but that just means I can keep the bottle for sentimental reasons. and yes, it did slightly make up for the vlaentines day fiasco...that and the shopping spree last month when he was out here!

soon: i love PF changs. yummy food!...and sorry but I didn't eat the easter candy!

Just a quick Hello and a Happy Easter!!!!!
Went well yesterday with sticking to the beach outside the safety of home....lol

My downfall wasn't the food it was the bar (Forgot about that). When everyone else starting ordering drinks my Hubby suggested Long Island Iced Teas thinking it had more liquor and less soda. Good idea for the diet bad idea for my head...lol

After all was said and done yesterday only gained a lb. Gonna try to work it off today and get back on track.

Good news to report..

All is well here in West Virginia ( southern) Thunderstorms are sparatic today,, mainly at night,, i can just lay in my bed at night and watch the lightening till I fall to sleep,. I put on a pair of pants yesterday that I have not worn in a year,, and they were a little loose even,, a shirt also.. I have a lot of clothes saved from my 'Smaller: days... thank god for 55 gallon drums with the lids, I have them labeled from smallest to biggest,, ranging from 14 to 26,, shew...... anywho. I am maken BBQ chicken today,, for the week, and tomorrow for easter a baked ham .... all is well with the easter sweeties, I have planned snacks and lunches for the weekend to help me make it through, but so far no glitches..
Has anyone seen Walk the Line ? Very good Movie, I had to reasearch some stuff to see if it was actually true after watching the movie,, You know how it is with TRUE LIFE STORIES and all.. some are a little far fetched and ferry tailish....

My eating has not been great and then we ate BBQ for lunch but I chose the healthiest stuff they had. We are eating out tonight with the family that will be Brian's godparents (just before we go to the church). I know can stay at least mostly OP if not totally.

We had rehearsal this morning. It was confusing and I don't know that they got everything translated for the Spanish speaking families so there may be some confusion tonight but there would be anyway with over 50 getting baptised and over 75 getting confirmed. I'm making Brian get in the shower in a few minutes since he has been having a wonderful with my treadmill. I gave him a maximum speed and encline and he has recorded his own program. At least I got some exercise showing him how the Pulse workout works.

Well, meals are planned even for the camping trip next weekend so I need to head to the grocery store.

Oh, how I had missed the sound of thunder! We had a whole WEEK without severe weather! What a very lovely anniversary it will be for me and DH tomorrow, hiding in the basement and what-not. What would I do without the house shaking from the thunder??

Supposed to be another scary weekend. They're predicting that tomorrow's storms could do worse damage than the first round that came through in March and brought the two tornados with it. Hurrah.

So I'm a big fat cow. I have been awful about food and exercise, and it's my TOM and I'm bloated and crampy on top of it all. Moo. Back on track Monday.

Just popping in for a minute before I go to bed. Huge week this week and I'm beat. The family is all here and today we had a block party in honor of my son soon to head to Iraq. It's been cool all week with flags up and down the street. We have the best neighbors. Tomorrow is a huge lunch after church with family here. Totally not OP. I'm ready for Monday to come so I can feel good again instead of a bloated slug.
