fatfree cream cheese

  • is kraft's fatfree cream cheese ok for South Beach phase 1?
  • I can't seem to find the nutritional content or the ingredients when I GOOGLE. Can you post them if you have a package? It could be OK but it may have fillers like cornstarch or sugar in which case it is not allowed if you want to be strictly OP.
  • Here is the page from the Kraft website that shows the nutrition info and the ingredients.

Ingredients: PROTEIN CONCENTRATED SKIM MILK, SKIM MILK, CONTAINS LESS THAN 2% OF SODIUM TRIPOLYPHOSPHATE, SUGAR, XANTHAN GUM, PASTEURIZED MILK AND CREAM, SALT, ARTIFICIAL COLOR, CARRAGEENAN, POTASSIUM SORBATE AND CALCIUM PROPIONATE AS PRESERVATIVES, CHEESE CULTURE, SODIUM PHOSPHATE, ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR, CAROB BEAN GUM, VITAMIN A PALMITATE.

    Where's the cream cheese?

The South Beach website lists fat free cream cheese as Phase 2 and 3 only, not Phase 1. There is a limit on how much you can eat, too, but I can't remember the exact amount. I think it's 2 tablespoons per day.
