Splenda ?
I want to make the Decadent Fudge Brownies (found in Phase 1 Desserts). Does anybody know how to translate 20-25 packets of Splenda into cups?
Thanks! |
Ok, lets see! Each packet is supp to be the sweetness of 2 tsp of sugar and the powdered stuff is supposed to be equal to sugar in amounts so:
2 tsp X 25 packets = 50 tsp 3 tsp per Tbl so 50/3= 16 TBS and 2 tsp 16 Tbs = 1 Cup so use 1 cup plus 2 tsp of the powdered stuff Hope this helps! |
24 packets of SPLENDAŽ No Calorie Sweetener provide the sweetness of one cup of sugar.
This came from Splenda's website. This URL http://www.splenda.com/page.jhtml?id...aking/main.inc has hints for replacing sugar with Splenda in baking. |
Thanks!
